VILLAGE HEIGHTS RESORT

Highland Resort offers faraway from shopping and attractions area. Resort offer free multiple coach shuttles to eateries and supermarkets buys 10am to 7pm adds as a bonus during our 1 week stay. Superb buffet breakfast we enjoy so much! Resorts has a mini mart and a quiet library to relax too!

This resort is right off the highway up in the hills with great ocean views. We had a two bedroom (101) that had two large patios off each bedroom both with ocean views. The kitchen was well equipped and we had many romantic meals outside. We also had breakfast at two of the restaurants and both were great. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the resort was very clean and well maintained. The gym was small but there was enough equipment to get a decent workout. This was a timeshare week exchange for us and we have been to many resorts around the world and this was one of the nicest. We would definitely stay it this one again! We rented a car and you will need one to stay here because it is on the outskirts of town with no services nearby.

Once again you have looked after us superbly. The villa was clean and comfortable, the staff are all helpful, the food in the restaurant is plentiful and delicious and the views are amazing. A car is useful as there is so much to see nearby but you can have a relaxing holiday on site and use the shuttle bus to get to the big supermarket or beach. Good size pool with lots of sunbeds under the shade of the picturesque olive trees. Thankyou. Hope to see you next year.

Before you book this fantastic resort please be aware that a lot of the facilities start to close down during the last week of October for Winter and the place is very, very quiet. We loved the place positioned in perfect isolation 5 mins in car from the wonderful Old Town Hersonissos with its quaint square and excellent bars restaurants etc, and a further 5 mins from costal Hersonnissos. It is cooler up at Village Heights than at the coast which is probably a blessing in peak summer season. The main building is modern and immaculate, reception is friendly and efficient. There is an ATM and a touch screen booking system. There wasn't a concierge in the last week of October! There is a shop for reasonably priced basics open til 10.30pm. Library with computer access, a well equipped spa, small games room with a pool table, air hockey and arcade games. It also hosts an alarm carte restaurant, a buffet restaurant and a bar/ cafe that serves inside and poolside. We got one night of entertainment Three Tenors which was good, but quizzes were not well attended as few people were staying in the last week of the season. The kids area is well equipped, with swings, slides, table tennis, large chess and a club house. The shuttle coach (Orange)is quite efficient but the quality of driving was questionable. The Tennis court (book via reception) and mini golf are in good condition and pleasant to use. Our room (401) was very good. It's view of the coast obscured by Olive trees as it was low level. The kitchen is very well equipped. The grounds are full of beautiful flowering shrubs and hardly any bugs/insects (we did have tiny ants in our room) there were wasps around the Mini Golf. The pools look stunning but were sparsely used as they were very cold. It was good to see the PH being tested We loved the Citrus Bar but it was closed by the 28th Oct as was Rodies restaurant which we really wanted to try. The Gym there is well equipped and we used it daily. It would be so much better if the mgt went all out to fill the resort right to the end of the season as it was 22 to 24 degrees throughout our week although a cool breeze was present around the resort.

This resort was our perfect retreat. After touring the Peloponnese for a week Village Heights was the perfect place to relax. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful vegetation. They strive to provide all with a good experience. There are enough restaurants, pools, activities and bars for varied needs and preference. I especially enjoyed my Spa treatment with Anna on Oct 10. The facial, body scrub and massage she provided was the I've ever experienced. I'd highly recommend it and recommend her specifically.
