TAMRA BEACH SHARM

The Tamra is just such a wonderful place . We had such a lovely week there . The hotel has beautiful gardens that are perfectly tended and manicured and run all the way down to the sea . There are so many freshwater swimming pools and in November which is low season there was plenty of space and loungers available . The whole place is spotless both the rooms and the standards of housekeeping, the gardens and the restaurant. The beach is not vast but it is attractive with quite a lot of fish to see and even more coral and an abundance of fish to see off the jetty whilst snorkelling . The hotel is sympathetically built and seems like a village it is so large but it has an abundance of charm and character . The main restaurant serves delicious fresh food plenty of choice and creative dishes which are very Mediterranean and healthy . The beach bar does lovely coffee and pastries and fresh pizza made by hand and cooked in a pizza oven by the beach . We were lucky to get an upgrade on our room as unfortunately the one we were originally allocated at the top end of the hotel was very close to the evening entertainment in the amphitheater which meant it was pretty noisy in the late evenings. This is something that lets the hotel down , sometimes the entertainment can be a bit much and the noise levels both during the day and the evening can grate a bit especially when lying by the pool. We used the beautiful adults only pool which was up on the top overlooking the beach but sometimes the peace was disturbed by the hotel next door . This hotel plays very loud music which isn't always a problem as there are so many pools to choose from and you can find a quiet spot, but sometimes it was annoying but on the whole we got used to it. We understand the Tamra can't really do much about this though if I was paying extra for a room nearer the sea I'm Not sure I'd be happy about it. The room we had was very spacious and though quite dated we didn't mind, it was comfortable and the cleaning staff came in every day and left it exceptionally clean . The only thing was the hot water in the shower was a bit iffy and we generally only got a hot shower in the evening for some reason in the mornings it was lukewarm despite asking reception to sort it out it did not really get resolved and we lived with it ! We lived pretty much everything about this place but the standout factor was definitely the staff . They were just amazing . We felt welcomed into a large happy family and they couldn't do enough for you ! We made friends with lots of the staff and they were so genuine and warm even though there was sometimes a language barrier. They were all clearly happy in their work at the hotel and couldn't do enough for us, from the young men working in the restaurant; Mahamed and his fab pizzas , the beach bar staff including Mustafa and Karim , our favourites the spa girls: Heba and Sally who gave us exceptional massages , the animation team - especially the International team headed by the charming Fox and Mido . And so many many others ....💗💗 They are a great team at Tamra Beach and we will recommend it to everyone !!

Very nice place. Clean well-kept, green area. Large selection of very tasty food - includes sushi, smoked meat like pastrami, a lot of other seafood. Cheerful and interesting animation - stretching, yoga, aqua aerobics, dancing, karaoke, darts. Beach is rocky, but there are a lot of fish just near a shore. Should take a snorkeling mask to watch it.

A wonderful hotel with excellent service. The food is diverse, and the staff and animators are friendly (Special thanks to Fox, Ibra, and Mido and all BRAVO team!) Thank you for an amazing vacation, I highly recommend it! I want to come here again!!!

I traveled with friends. I recommend this hotel, very tasty food, great location, beautiful beach and pools. Animators at the highest level. They are very nice, they entertain hotel guests. In general, everything is a plus 👌🏼 I will come back here someday :)

Amazing food— even accommodated my gluten allergy. The chef himself came out to greet us and give me info about the food. Beautiful, clean resort, family oriented. We had a blast! Would definitely recommend, especially for a family vacation of all ages..
