SUNRISE GRAND SELECT MONTEMARE

Great hotel for a vacation: neat rooms, very delicious food, great animators, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. Good hotel reef for snorkeling. It is more difficult for guests with walking problems or families with strollers, as there are a lot of stairs, but you can take a local minibus around the area.

This was our second trip to Sunrise Montemare and to say they truly embody the statement of "Welcome home" doesn't do it justice. Arrived at the hotel and were given a short form to complete with some basic details and had our passports copied. Whilst completing this we were given a cold fruit juice and offered refreshments. Welcome home the staff all greeted us like family. We were then shown to our room and our bags delivered. We had room 6201 which has the most incredible sea view! We slept so well in the king bed and woke to a beautiful sunrise overlooking Tiran Island. The room was clean and tidy with all the facilities you could need. The housekeeping team do an incredible job and kept everything spotless for our entire stay. We arrived back to the room after day 1 to find it had been decorated for us and gifts left from the hotel, such beautiful personal touches. We spent many days at the relax pool, preferring the adult only atmosphere and the peace and quiet. Our towels were laid for us each morning and we were regularly brought fresh drinks from the Oasis bar. Mu'Uhamed and Mohamed were always on hand to look after us. The pool has a built in hot tub and is heated in the cooler months. A real treasure if you want a little peace away from the family side of the hotel. The main restaurant Horizon was our first port of call each day. There is a newly appointed adults only section here, if you like us prefer not to have too many children around when your having your first coffee of the day. The staff here - Mohammed, Mohammed and Islam were amazing. Bringing us juice, tea and coffee. The chefs will try and accommodate whatever you would like for breakfast and there is always plenty of choice. We were always greeted warmly by the lovely young lady and the restaurant managers. The Island pool is where all the action happens. The animation team have a full programme and will always ask you if you want to join in but are never pushy and happy to leave you to your own devices should you wish. We attended the foam party and fruit festival, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Mahmoud provided us with towels and always found us space in the pods around the pool, making sure we were comfortable and had sun or shade as preferred. The island bar is fantastic and manned by the most incredible staff - Mahmoud, Ezzat, Alla, Sherrif, Ahmed, Hassan, Mohammed and the chef team - thank you all especially Hosham, best chicken shwarma ever!! We enjoyed refreshments by the pool and at the bar. Lunch here was a relaxed affair, we were treated as family and couldn not be more grateful for all these amazing people did for us. A la carte restaurants, wow! There is so much choice. Chimichurri - Steak restaurant. Incredible food. The fillet mignon was cooked EXACTLY how I like it, almost blue. The accompanying dishes were perfectly matched. Mangal - BBQ. I am a HUGE fan of BBQ and this did not disappoint. You choose your salad and the meat you would like. Houmous for me and Taboulleh for my husband. Mixed sharing plate. Bread rolls, rice and chunks potatoes round it off nicely. Gamila - Egyptian fare. We let Sherrif choose the food for us and he did not disappoint. A selection from the menu including chargrilled meats, the best lentil soup known to man and some dishes I cannot even name. What an absolute delight this restaurant was. Next time we will book more than once. Felucca - Seafood. There is an additional charge for this restaurant but it is 100% worth it. We were privileged enough to sample the cabana with jacuzzi package twice during our trip. The food was stunning - seafood salad 🥗 seafood soup 🍲 seafood platter and fruit with pastries for dessert. The table was outside the cabana for the first meal and inside for the second. Each setting was laid so beautifully and with such incredible attention to detail. Thank you Mohamed for this. The jacuzzi really is the icing on the cake for this! Basillico - Italian. Wow wow wow. This restaurant is incredible. The food is next level and allowed me to try a dish I have always been intrigued by, beef carpaccio. Stunning presentation and the flavours of everything are off the chart. The seafood soup is delicious as is the penne Alfredo, quattro fromagio pizza, the lasagne and the desserts 🍨 😋🤌🏼 The service is first class here from all the team. Manzoku - Asian. Oh my word!! The sister restaurant to Basillico, this is outstanding!! We tried so many dishes here. Wantons, spring roll, chicken satay, chicken with glass noodles are some of the amazing starters. Seafood soup and glass noodle soup are highly recommended. The beef sezchuan will blow your mind but make sure you try the chicken sweet and sour and chicken teriyaki too. Chicken chow mein as the noodles! Incredible service here too, you are given time between courses and never feel rushed to finish your meal. I also had a visit to Bliss the beauty salon to get my hair done - mermaid hair! Thank you so much to the Bliss team I love it. Special thanks to Osama, Alaa, Mahmoud, Mohammed(s), Ahmed, Mostafa, Ebrahem, Hasan, Abd elaziz and Ezzat for making our visit so memorable ❤️ We felt we were truly at home here and can honestly say this is the best hotel we've ever stayed in. Thank you to all the staff. The cleaners, housekeeping, animation team, hospitality, lifeguards and management for making our stay the best ever. We will be home soon ❤️

Hotel is amazing every thing was perfect All the staff are friendly and the animation team are great and have so much activity and fun every night has a show and programs food so testy the room super clean beach bar cafe good and the cocktail drink highly recommend

Good morning!🌷 We enjoyed vacation in Sunrise Montemare! Good service, bartenders, animation team. Resort is very nice, green🍀 We liked restaurant very much, so many food (mango, shrimps, sushi). The sea is amazing! 🌊 Swimming pool too. Every day there are many activities. Thank you!
