Had an absolutely amazing time, nothing was too much trouble, the staff were amazing, the facilities great, the location was perfect, even the food was good. I must give a special mention to the animation team who made our memories even more special with everything they did for us

Excellent services , great place for a vacation ! Animation team is very good , great restaurant selections with diverse menus and great tasting food. The rooms are spatious and clean . The shows in the amphitheater were good. Great selection of activities for adults and also for kids.

Unusually we hadn’t booked this hotel so we had no preconceived ideas about the hotel and as we have been to many resorts in Egypt over the years this we saw as an opportunity to give a truly independent review. First off, there were two main positives.  The grounds and their upkeep are the best we have seen in any Egypt hotel…..the multitude of bins (recycling included) all helped that as did the many glass / bottle collection boxes. It was always a joy to walk around the hotel grounds or sit within them.  The staff, whether they are in the restaurants, the bars, our room cleaner Ahmed, or the garden / beach or pool staff, they were all so friendly, engaging, helpful (always looking to do what they could for you) and it really came across that they enjoy their work and want to be the best ambassadors for the hotel. (few exceptions mentioned below). Some things that we believe should be worked on (Guest Experience Team, you should read).  The food…..distinctly average (breakfast, dinner and lunch) with no creativity given to the menus to make it stand out…..felt like a cafeteria, especially as it was all displayed like that, with nothing special on offer to differentiate it and the equipment not helping to keep things warm. Distinct lack of variety and quality and for once I never really looked forward to going there. We have eaten better quality food in lesser Star hotels, which have given a greater selection and variety of food which has always been hot. For us the food is 3 Star quality at best.  In the main restaurant there is a crazy thing that just about all tables are made up for 8 people which meant that as the majority of people were couples, they ended up by being occupied by only two people, which meant that many didn’t have the opportunity to sit outside. They should separate them and setup for 2 / 4 people especially as people don’t like to share tables. A few more coffee machines at breakfast would also help as too much time was lost waiting in queues.  Smoking should be banned on the restaurant terrace and in the bars as it spoils the experience for those who don’t smoke, as they have to eat and drink in such an environment, especially as nearly all smokers don’t give any consideration to non smokers.  On the beach, the small area set aside for adults had nice padded deck chairs……nowhere else, adult or not. That area is not in the best but you are told in no uncertain terms that you can’t take them to other areas…..so you have the case of youngsters (over 16) getting nice cushions and the more mature clients (who perhaps need them more) not having them…..makes no sense.  The Reception team…..all too ready to say ‘no’ to anything meaning they don’t come across as trying to help you……and be prepared for a long booking in process.  The Guest Experience……not sure if the whole team is like the person we dealt with….she was only interested in us completing a form she needed but had not at all interested in hearing feedback from us about the hotel (who wouldn’t want to get first hand feedback?). Their ‘office’ has a huge desk and a huge screen which they sit behind and look over you (not engaging/friendly). They do get interested when showing travel reps around but you never saw them going around the hotel engaging with guests…..very strange. This is not good or 5 Star behaviour and extremely lazy…..how will things ever be pushed to the next level for improvement?  Connected with the above……notice how the Guest Experience Team lazily respond to every Tripadvisor review, with exactly the same comment…..do they ever read them? Do the reviews ever get to the management? Also notice that there are a lot of Contributors giving their one and only review to this hotel…..they distort the ratings of this hotel (they seem to be from one particular country) as they are normally giving 5 stars, so readers should be aware of that point. We ignore these when reading reviews. This hotel could be so much better than it is, although it is still a great hotel……there seems to be complacency in the management teams……thank goodness that the facilities and the majority of staff offset this. Overall we did enjoy our stay……would we go back?......not sure.

Very good hotel love it here so much beautiful location well looked after facilities. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff here are amazing so friendly and funny they always there to help with anything you need. The food in the buffet is good all options plenty to keep you full, also entertainment was fab animation team fun and full of power

I stayed here for 1 week really great hotel, they have amazing facilities we love the pools especially the one with pool bar excellent staff there so friendly always bringing refreshing drinks in the hot weather, i tried the mojito with alcohol it was very wonderful. The restaurant is also good has nice options lots of international food. Last but not least cannot forget the excellent animation team very active has a nice programme and very entertaining.
