Fantastic week at Stella Di Mare.
The staff here were so friendly helpful and welcoming. The hotel is very spacious and so was our room. We had a deluxe panoramic room which was so comfortable and clean with towels changed every day and bedding also changed a few times and we were only there for a week. We were all inclusive and the food selection was fantastic, they tried to cater for all nationalities I think.

A fantastic chilled winter break in the warm Egyptian sunshine!
We had a fantastic stay at the Stella Di Mare Hotel to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. It was our first time visiting Sharm El Sheik, and we found a perfect hotel amongst all the choice available! As it was our first holiday in years without the kids, we spent most of our time at the swim-up bar area which is adults only. It was very quiet and peaceful, never short of a sunbed and the pool is semi-heated so comfortable to dip straight in, but cool enough to refresh yourself in the 30 degrees sunshine. Weather was perfect all the way through...November is definitely the time to visit Sharm! Service ethic at the hotel was fantastic. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable, and are very good at anticipating your next move, I.e they are attentive to where you regularly sit at the restaurant, sunbed choice, favourite drinks etc. My special mentions in the buffet restaurant are Moustafa, (who tended to us pretty much through the whole week with discreet precision) and Mina, one of the restaurant managers who was very friendly and also made sure we were made to feel comfortable every day. As we said, spent most of our time at the swim-up bar area so would also like to recognise Mohamed and David. Both of these gentlemen were extremely friendly, and made sure our drinks were always flowing. The family pool is also generously sized (kids club very close by and the ents team have daytime activiites), and there's a lesser known pool you can use beside the spa that has jacuzzi and cascade fountains. Fancy some gym, tennis, volleyball, golf, pool table, library? All covered too! While we were at the hotel, we were approached a couple of times here and there with sales pitches for activities, as you would expect in Egypt. Although a little pricey (around 100 pounds for 2 people), we opted for the massage at the spa, which came with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi as well. The massage was fantastic, and would recommend, but do try and barter that price down! We think it was maybe a bit too much...perhaps around 80 for 2 people would be better. The food....what can I say? For an all inclusive, this place was FANTASTIC. The buffet restaurant was varied for lunch and dinner every day, with themed nights and an outdoor grill. I don't think I've been anywhere where they have gotten the beef dishes done so well every time! (Excellent steak!) There are two a la carte restaurants on site, one with a Thai vibe, the other with an Italian vibe, both worth the visit as they have a set menu for all inclusive guests at no extra charge. Rooms were very nice, I would say perhaps a bit dated on the decor, but comfortable and the air con worked very well. Rooms were cleaned to a very good standard every day. Bring a laptop and an HDMI cable for the big TV as there is only one Brit channel and its BBC World News. We would also recommend the 5 in 1 day in the desert. Quad biking, camel ride, tea with the Bedouin, visit a camp for some native dancing and a barbecue, then some stargazing in the middle of the mountains. Great experience and very cheap. We booked externally (but there is a guy selling this on site) and it cost around 28 pounds per person. Absolute bargain for the quad biking alone! At the hotel, evening entertainment is let's say, OK. Its not overly lively and a little bit of a distance from where you sit to view so it feels a bit detached, but still varied and interesting enough to chill out and watch. The only real disappointment I found at times was the manners of some of the other guests. Some Russian tourists in particular were a little rude/curt to the staff and this was reflected in the staff being very grateful with mutual respect and courtesy! Be nice, be treated nice...simple! Overall, great hotel, very close to the airport (15 mins) but not right in the thick of Naama Bay (a bad haggler's nightmare!) so a tranquil and relaxing holiday! We are already looking forward to going back, and we never usually visit the same hotel twice. That's the best endorsement we can give it. We will return, hopefully next year! We also spoke to a few people on the flight on the way back and feel very vindicated in our choice, the other hotels sounded nice, but not as good. Put this one on your shortlist for sure!

LONG REVIEW BUT SO WORTH IT!
Travelled from 28/10/2024 - 05/11/2024 Well where do I start, the BEST hotel by far. We arrived nearly 5am in the morning and the whole check in process was a breeze. Reception staff Mahmoud was really lovely and my 5 year old really warmed up to him. From long conversations with my boy to having a kick about with a ball. He along with his manager sorted us a late check out as our flight back was late and the taxi wasn't picking us up until midnight. We were given Room 1076 a villa which was beautiful we had sea view. Room was immaculate and the size was very good for the 3 of us. Khalid kept the room clean everyday, fresh towels, bedding and always made some sort of an animal arrangement on the bed as decoration which my little boy loved to see each day. Mohamed the pool guard was lovely always sorting us out with sunbeds and towels and one specific person (sadly don't remember his name) around the main pool always asking if everything was okay and looking after the guests. Not forgetting the man around the pool cleaning sunglasses its definitely the little things. My boy enjoyed the kids pool aswell as the main pool. We didn't use the over 16s pool as my boy wouldn't be allowed there anyway but it was alot quieter there. They have a foam party down the beach area on a Wednesday which was nice for my son to enjoy. Entertainment was good around the main pool aqua gym, volleyball, bowling in the garden and so on. Can't really comment on the kids club as my son spent too much of his time in the pool so didn't enter the kids club :) The sea is absolutely beautiful not much of a beach but there's sand with sunbeds so you get the jist. We didn't use the sunbeds there but did see some very pretty fishes once closer to the water and inside. Entertainment I preferred during the day in my opinion the evening entertainment was a bit of a hit and miss although for Halloween they did have belly dancing and a fire show which was nice. Overall that didn't spoil anything for us. Instead after dinner we would venture out in the evening mostly using taxi as the fare wasn't bad at all but we also once or twice used the free shuttle service to Naama bay. Taxi service at the hotel is very good reasonably priced. Sabri one of the drivers was lovely and very informative of anything you wanted to know. Hasan from excursion at the hotel is fantastic. We booked the 5 in 1 safari trip, Submarine and parasailing all very good priced and thoroughly enjoyed. The food absolutely delicious and plentiful choice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner even for the fussiest of people theres so much variety. Each night for dinner is a different theme. We did the Asian a la carte which we really liked we didn't eat at the Italian a la carte. Best bit you can book unlimited times throughout your stay. The waiters are attentive making sure everything is okay for you and don't like seeing empty glasses always filling you up :) The chef Mohamed makes the best shawarma. Very kind person always willing to make anything you suggest for late dinner and his shawarma was the best I've tasted and I've tasted many in the UK and abroad :) Overall, we visited Naama bay a couple of times nightlife is good there and shopping, Soho square once which was nice with the dancing fountain and a nice Indian restaurant but once was definitely enough, old city once which was very pretty the surroundings and the sahaba mosque beautiful. On the way to the hotel there's Genena city it's nice but I found it expensive so it's better to walk 5 mins to Naama bay lot cheaper choices. The hotel itself is very beautiful location is great it is quiet and peaceful not too far from anything. The staff are an asset to this hotel attentive and can't do enough for you they really are what makes this hotel what it is.

    Highly recommended
Great value for money, the hotel has two big swimming pool and sea access (no beach!), one buffet restaurant, two a la carts restaurant and a beach bar, Spa and gym, library corner, kids club. All the staff was amazing! Big shout out to Fahiem from the housekeeping team and Dina from the spa masseuse, Karlos (sorry i don’t remember the correct spelling) from the waiters. But everyone is friendly and helpful without any exception! Beautiful coral reef for snorkelling, the hotel gives you the opportunity to book activities with them. The hotel provides beach towels. Clean spacious room with minibar replenished daily and amenities in the toilet. The buffet restaurant has a lot of selection for everyone’s taste. Great breakfast. Overall I highly recommend this hotel!

    Friendly hotel and fabulous holiday
The hotel had an impressive lobby for first impressions and the deluxe room was perfect for our needs. Staff were friendly and very attentive inc on the hottest day spraying us on our sunbeds by the pool bar pool. The shops inside the hotel are expensive and overhelming with the choice of purchases but we did not feel overly hassled. Room service was extra but well worth it and both a la carte restaurants had lovely vibe and service. Areas for improvement would be the games room; the pool table was shabby, some balls were not even smooth anymore and the cues had no chalk or tip. Evening Entertainment they clearly try but not well attended and they need to display what theme the main buffet is and what the entertainment program is more visibly. We would defo return, the sea was amazing and like swimming in an aquarium. Thank your for a fab holiday for my daughter and I xx
