Loved the October Sun, warm sea and heated swimming pool
This was the second time we had visited Sherwood Exclusive after our holiday in the summer was cut short due to a family member going to hospital in Turkey. It was great to see the hotel in the height of summer and then in October. I loved my holiday on both occasions but it was obviously alot quieter at the end of October as expected, but also very enjoyable. Even though it was coming to the end of the season, there was still entertainment in the evening (2 shows, bands, bingo, entertainment team games) but not as many shows as in the summer. There was also activities during the day but again not as many in the summer but still plenty to do. We particularly enjoyed the aqua aerobics and afternoon darts which got very competitive! I loved the weather in October, the days were lovely and hot but you aren't desperate for shade, the sea is really warm and I was very pleased that one of the pools was heated which our daughter happily played in for hours on end. The heated pool was a big plus as the non-heated pools were freezing. The slides are BRILLIANT and despite landing in colder water we had hours of fun on them. The evenings were cooler than expected so take trousers and warm jumpers. We would like to say a personal thanks to Lucia who looked after us when we had a difficult time in the summer and when we returned...it was like returning to see an old friend. Lucia really looks after the guests and cares greatly that they have a good holiday alongside the other guest relations staff she leads. It was also nice that many of the staff remembered us which is quite incredible after the number of guests they have looked after since we visited in July. Evidence of a real personal touch. All of the team were helpful and polite despite there sometimes being a language barrier. Thankyou. Even though the hotel was quieter, the food was just as good as the summer and so much choice. I love the fact that at lunch you can choose from the restaurant where there is so much choice or sit over looking the pool and sea to be served. There is also another food place at the slides. You can also get Turkish Gozleme (pancake) and delicious meatball sandwiches from 4pm. There is a sandwich bar with so many cakes too, waffle place, ice cream!!!!!! So, much delicious food to choose from! I nearly forgot the gentlemen who serves Turkish tea...so attentative, thankyou. We had a duplex room which was very special. We had a view of the sea and the hills and loved that our daughter had a separate room and bathroom to us. These rooms are very special. In the summer we had a room with a double and single bed in which was simpler in style but just as nice. We were treated to a day in a gazebo on the pier where we were served our drinks and lunch and had our own steps to swim in the warm sea. Bliss My daughter and I also enjoyed the Spa. We both experienced a Turkish Hammam. As my daughter was only 10 she didn't have a scrub but enjoyed a chocolate massage! The staff were excellent. I loved my second visit to Sherwood exclusive and October sun. We are already looking to return next October and would like to thank Lucia and the team for a very special holiday in the sun in October but also for looking after us in the Summer when it wasn't the holiday we had planned. THANKYOU team Sherwood Exclusive Kemer... a fabulous hotel that we are looking forward to returning to.

    A Very Enjoyable Two-Week Stay
We recently spent two weeks at this hotel and had a lovely holiday. From start to finish, we felt comfortable, well taken care of, and entertained, with plenty to do both in and around the hotel. Arrival and First Impressions We arrived around midnight, and despite the late hour, check-in was quick and easy. After settling in, we enjoyed a delicious meal at the 24-hour bistro, followed by a nightcap at Gilbert’s, the 24-hour bar. It was a warm and welcoming way to kick off our holiday. Staff and Guest Relations The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, helpful, and attentive. While some staff had limited English, communication was never an issue. The Guest Relations team was especially supportive, readily answering any questions we had, and making us feel truly valued as guests. They even sent a basket of fruit and some macarons with a get well message when my wife was ill with a bad cold. Rooms Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the extra-large bed and the balcony overlooking one of the pools. Dining Options: Bars, Snack Bars, and Main Restaurant There were many bars and snack bars around the hotel, so we were never far from food or drinks. The quality was consistently high, and we enjoyed fresh, tasty snacks throughout the day. A highlight was the Pranzo bar, where we could order a range of dishes, from burgers to Turkish kebabs. The main restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes, with a particularly great selection of fish and grilled meats. Although it could get a bit crowded indoors, we found a lovely table on the terrace, which made every meal feel more like a special “dining out” experience. A La Carte Restaurants Since it was the end of the season, only two of the four a la carte restaurants were available, but the food and service were excellent at both. Pools and Waterparks We spent most of our time at the quiet pool near our room, where there was always an abundance of sunbeds and umbrellas. The nearby Lagoon Bar was conveniently staffed until just before we left, and it added to the peaceful atmosphere. Although we didn’t use the main pool, we could see it from the Pranzo bar, and it looked like a lively hub with music and activities. Similarly, we didn’t use the waterparks, but they looked well-designed and perfect for families with children. Beach Area While we didn’t spend much time on the beach, we enjoyed a few pleasant strolls along the shoreline and short pier. The area was equipped with various bars and snack stands, including a surprising sushi stall and some places serving authentic local snacks. Entertainment There was nightly entertainment at the Aquapark stage. Also evening activities near the Pranzo bar and pool with bands, karaoke, bingo etc. Though we didn’t join in every night, the shows we watched were impressive, with high-quality performances. Exploring Göynük and Beyond Göynük, which is a 30-minute walk from the hotel, was a lovely outing. There is a nice parade of shops. There are also market days in the town itself. The Göynük canyon, about an hour's strenuous stroll away, was a very good walking adventure. If you walk there and back it is about a 4.5 hour round trip with some lovely views. Entry to the gorge was affordable (5 Euros each), and there were activities like zip-lining and boat rides for those interested (at an extra cost). For those wanting to explore further, the local bus system made it easy and economical to visit nearby resorts like Kemer. Note that it is not possible to walk between the resorts as there is no suitable footpath. The bus fare is 35TL from Göynük to Kemer. You can flag the buses down; you pay on exit and the drivers have plenty of change. Overall Experience In summary, we had a great time at this hotel and would happily return. The combination of friendly staff, diverse dining options, relaxing pools, and beautiful surroundings made this a truly memorable holiday. Recommended for a relaxing, well-rounded holiday experience.

    My home 🏠
We have been at Sherwood for four years, we feel like it is our own home, not a hotel. We always owe this to Ms. Lucia, who works on the location and especially in guest relations. We love Sherwood very much. We have already booked a place in Sherwood next year. We are looking forward to seeing you.😀🙏🙏

"THIS FACILITY IS LIKE A PIECE OF HEAVEN."
"Hello, we visited in October. First of all, we were welcomed very nicely at the entrance. The staff's attention pleased us right from the start. The service and hospitality were quite successful. Despite visiting in October, the weather was truly beautiful. The hotel has many restaurants, so you won't go hungry here. There are several lagoon bars, and local and foreign alcoholic beverages are available whenever you want. The atmosphere of the Gilbert pastry shop is very pleasant. Additionally, there are four different à la carte restaurants featuring Turkish, seafood, Italian, and Asian cuisine. We tried the seafood, and it was very delicious. The guest relations team works hard and makes an effort to attend to every guest. The hotel is built in a villa style rather than a main building, which gives it a village-like feel. We were very satisfied as a family. As someone who loves the sea, I can say that the sea in Kemer is magnificent. It's crystal clear, and you swim with fish. Negative reviews are not true; those comments come from complexed individuals, and you can be sure of that."

Shocking experience and please don’t invite guests to stay with you in your cleaning week!
From the minute we arrived, no help with suitcases. No welcome on reception, no smile let alone a drink after 1.5hrs transfer time from airport. Just please don’t waste your money and AVOID. If cleanliness and hospitality are high on your priority list you will be mortified. We’re a family travelled with 4 under 10s. If you’re a party animal and want to dance and sing every night, and just be too drunk to notice the hotel failures- might be the place for you. Kids club- lasts till 1st November.. we had 2 days during season and 6 days end of season. Impressive at first glance, variety of rooms for different ages.. however most locked! Video gaming most were disconnected, soft play my child fell through one of the climbing bits, as a tile under her foot fell through! Leaving her with a swollen bruised arm.. Even during the “season time” activities were repetitive with no real interaction with the kids. Basically if you plan to leave your kids there for a few hours a day for you to get some Chill time, this is not the place for you. Poorly managed and not interactive. Rooms- filthy, dated, worn, unkept. Bulbs didn’t work, frames in wall were wonky, dusty shelves, lime scale and rust on taps, something out of a horror movie. We were shown 3 different rooms, we went for the most basic one because it looked cleaner and dust free. Architraves missing of doors, handles falling off and toilet flush missing are not our expectations of a “superior” room with swim up pool! Service - 8 days spent here, sheets not changed once. Mini fridge only got topped up once, with only a few drinks no snacks. Waiters will just ignore you and walk off, no one helps you find a table when you walk into a busy buffet area, you’ll end up pouring your own drink and fetching your own Cutlery… after 5 days of this the last 3 days we just prayed to be back home, was fed up with the repetitive food/bad service and just a general false 5* illusion. Swimming pool freezing! Balls of hair at the bottom, grime, plasters, food! I hope my kids don’t get an ear infection! When I fed back, apparently a robot cleaning device was placed that night to have it cleaned, but I didn’t allow my kids to use it after the filth discovered. They did accept their pool was dirty and showed me a video of it being cleaned. All the people giving it 5* really need to travel more. It’s 3* at best. Massive shame as location spot on, so beautiful, gorgeous grounds and greenary. Ice cream place was nice, but how hard is it to get that wrong? Waffle place was nice too. Gilberts! Wow where do I start lol! Shocking service from the girls with the tiny white skirts! No Smile, not urgency to serve you. Drinks were hit and miss, mostly miss! I’m Sure you get the picture by now.. I did read posts like Mine before I went, and decided not everyone is pleased and someone will have a bad experience so went with an open mind. I just wished I took their advice and didn’t bother, I’d be 4K ricer and wouldn’t feel I wasted 8 days of my life. Even our kids who absolutely love holidaying were fed up by day 5.. I was told By Lucia it was busy first time since corona, and they had staff issues, well that’s not your guests problem! Don’t take the booking, let them Search for another hotel. Don’t take guests on your cleaning week before you shut down!!!
