SEA GULL RESORT

This hotel has the potential to be great, however it was far from great. I visited in October with my seven-year-old daughter. Upon arrival our room was not clean, there were stains and marks on the bedsheets, the floor had not been swept/vacuumed and the bathroom had months of scum/grime buildup. The room was not cleaned properly by Cleaning staff on their daily visits. The food was absolutely terrible and myself and daughter ended up with severe E. coli. There were not many options at any of the buffets, mainly breads and soups were available. During our stay, we got to visit the hotels fish restaurant. We were served old and overcooked fish. The majority of the guests sent back their meal that evening. The alcohol selection was not great and certainly not worth the money, there were a few spirits available red wine, white wine, and a beer. They had no cocktails or drinks menu and the bars did not play any music and closed at 10 pm. All drinks were served in small plastic cups and when asking for a glass we were told we’re not allowed. The hotel advertise multiple activities going on throughout the day, however these activities did not take place. The evening entertainment was only on for one hour and was quite frankly boring and not well put together. The majority of the hotel was full of Russian guests, the hotel seemed to cater to these guests only. The Russians were unbelievably rude to staff treating them like slaves. Overall, I highly recommend not staying at this hotel, especially if you are from the UK or Europe and finding a hotel that accommodate Europeans. Myself and my seven-year-old daughter spent the majority of the holiday being sick with diarrhoea in our room, I’m aware of the guests also have the same issue but the hotel denied any responsibility for this

Had a lovely stay, Nour a standout individual! Would recommend this hotel. We came as a large group and we felt welcome every moment. All of our needs were tended to and the staff were very friendly. The food was good and the beach nearby was good.

Excellent staff! A special thank you to Mohamed, who cleaned apartments 808 and 809. Such a positive, bright, and creative person who amazed us every day with his artistic creations in our rooms. Initially, the Family Room wasn’t exactly to our liking, but the issue was resolved, and we were moved to a better one. The hotel grounds are well-maintained, and the staff treated our son wonderfully. The children’s park animator from the Czech Republic was also very kind and helpful. Additionally, the hotel’s location is excellent for shopping needs, making our stay even more convenient. Thank you! 😊

ts was my favorite vacation in hurghada, it was my first time in Egypt but I really want to go back! The animation is also really good. just amazing. The staff in the hotel are also really really friendly especially ibrahim receptionist and hany house keeping man . The rooms were clean, and I cant wait to come back... see you soon seagull with my love
