Just returned after a weeks stay… Overall it was a positive stay, huge rooms, beautiful maintained gardens & pool areas & a huge welcoming reception area. All of the staff were friendly & attentive at all times. There are a few a la carte restaurants that you need to pre book the day before & we had no trouble getting into these. The Turkish was our fave. The hotel was set inside Soho Square so a nice place to wander in the evenings. A few little negatives… I’m not sure it’s a 5* as there’s no day or eve entertainment. There seemed to be an animation team but not sure what they were doing. The buffet restaurant was always very crowded, food always the same everyday & only lukewarm.. one day in particular it was so overcrowded with I presume some conference going on. This was a shame as it spoilt it for the ‘holiday guests’ that wanted to relax. We did eat out a few times in Soho for some variety. The room cleaners done a brilliant job but always so late in the day. This was usually done after we’d returned from a day at the beach/pool area. We had to sit out on our terrace whilst the cleaner refreshed our room. Overall, it was a pleasant week, but next time I’d book somewhere with entertainment & a better variety of hot food.

Always looked after by friendly people who can’t do enough for you. Only minor criticism is that the sunbeds need upgrading. Restaurant food was very good especially in the a la cartes. Special mention for Hussain in the Italian restaurant

Outstanding stay at Savoy. Will definitely go back. Ahmed stood up for me the most. A true gent and great costumer service. Our check out was at 2pm. So I went to reception to ask for later check and they granted us a later check out for free of charge. Prior our departure to the airport we got given fresh towels for shower at the spa. Everything was super clean with professional staff. Entertainment team were outstanding and very engaging. Mustafa was very good and also Mohamed. Beach was superb our little one loved it.

You are made to sign for every thing and they take your room key card. You are then kept waiting to retrieve your key card, so caused a lot of time wasting and we found it was not worth the hassle going to get a drink. Staff get quite confrontational in the main restaurant and the bars if you do not sign for what you have already paid for and we were fully inclusive. We found this to be very dystopian. There is no entertainment, as this hotel relies on the Soho square, which is out the front of the hotel. The hotel was mostly full of Italians & Russians. Even though the hotel looks good and is well laid out. The only thing we liked was the beach and the sea/fish. The beach bar was great and the team were polite and efficient and served good hot food. We stopped using the hotel facilities towards the end of our first week. as we didn't agree with the hotel signing policy and the inconvenience it caused us. It is sad to say this was our worst hotel experience we have had in Egypt and we have been going every year for the last 15 years plus. We won't go back to this hotel again. I would not recommend this hotel due to their draconian signing policy and the taking of your room key card. The staff mean well, but do not know how to be tactful in treating guests concerns. If one chooses to go to this hotel then in my view go as bed & breakfast and then use Soho square for your evening meals and entertainment and not waste your money on fully inclusive. However. We have been to better hotels and enjoyed our freedom.

Stayed here for a week for my 40th birthday and the hotel is just amazing! From the staff being so helpful and friendly, to food being beautiful with alot of selection, we booked the sea view room and it didn't disappoint, the room was very nice and the balcony was huge, right outside the hotel is soho square where you have a big selection of restaurants, shops, bars and other entertainment, we will be back next year definitely, thank you to all statues savoy ❤️
