    Fabulous Stay!
We had a fabulous stay at the Royal Savoy. We arrived 5th November and we were met at the airport by Makhlouf. As always he was waiting with a great big smile and a “Welcome home”! He assisted us through passport control and luggage arrival and we were whisked to the car the Royal Savoy had sent to collect us, feeling like VIP’s. On arrival we were welcomed by Mamdouh and his team, we were settled in quickly. Restaurants are all al a carte and great quality. We had booked ‘S’ Class all inclusive which provides an excellent choice of bars and restaurants in the Savoy and in Soho Square. We received excellent personal service from the Savoy Lounge bar from David, lovely young man and great to see him back! Thanks also Mamdouh and Mahmoud for greeting us back as ‘family’ rather than guests, you made us feel so welcome! Highly recommended.

Fantastic Hotel, with amazing staff. Hard to beat for winter sun during November to March without to long a flight
Another amazing stay (our second this year) at the Royal Savoy. The weather was fantastic, blue skies and around 28-30 degrees every day. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The hotel is adult only and has an intimate boutique feel but with the benefit of being able to use all the facilities at the much larger family Savoy hotel which is in the same resort. The hotel is immaculate and has a lovely private beach area with a bar for Royal Savoy guests. There is also the huge benefit of going for a short walk, or get a buggy ride as we tended to do, to SOHO square which has a lot of shops, bars and restaurants. SOHO square is right outside the hotel and it seems to be controlled and managed by the Savoy Group. There is no bother when shopping at SOHO square which can be the case in Nama bay for example, its relaxed and chilled out clean and very friendly. Too many staff to praise at the hotel but hats off to all the pool bar team including Beshouy, David in the lobby bar and George at the beach. I struggle to recall names but everyone of the myriad of staff we encountered were equally fantastic. Indeed we had our favorite drinks appear at the sun loungers without even asking on several occasions. Many have worked at the hotel for a long time and know you by name and what you like after just a few days. Nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to visiting again next year. Highly recommended.

A brilliant stay at the Royal Savoy.
The staff have been so lovely - friendly and happy to help in any way, especially Ahmed at the pool and Jose who cleaned the room, the guys at Adalar and at (the excellent) breakfast and the lounge in the evening. Amazing snorkeling on the beach. The massage was great. A surprisingly good curry at the Bombay in Soho Square, and we also loved the Turkish food at Adalar and the Italian at Rosmarino. Don't miss the lovely canapés in the lounge pre-dinner - the empanadas/borek were our favourites. Such a relaxing winter break - can't wait to do it again.

Fabulous, tranquil paradise on the edge of the Red Sea
Have just returned from a wonderful week at the Royal Savoy. It was our first ever visit to Sharm and the Royal Savoy and it didn't disappoint. We chose it as it was listed as number 1 on this site, and I can see why it's so highly rated. From the spotless hotel rooms, eateries and facilities with gleaming marble floors and what look like freshly painted white walls to the immaculate gardens and pristine pools, the first impressions are excellent. Add into that a truly exceptional team of waiters, bar staff, front of house/ concierge staff, grounds staff and pool attendants, it really makes for fabulously relaxing and tranquil holiday in spectacular surroundings. The breakfast in the Morning Room offers a vast array of options, buffet style, with the egg station chef being a particular treat from where I enjoyed a freshly cooked omelette each morning, looked after superbly by Peter, Mina and Hironos from the waiting staff. For my own taste, the home made italian beans and potatoes could be a bit warmer - they didn't seem to retain their heat very well in the chafing dishes - but they were certainly tasty. We tried 2 onsite restaurants for our evening meals (Italian and Turkish). The former was good as was the service, but we were disappointed with the offering at the Turkish so only ate there the once. The rest of the time we ate at Soho Square which you can walk to or be driven to in one of the hotel buggies. The Bombay indian restaurant at Soho Square is outstanding - the best indian food I've ever had. We ate there twice. We also ate twice at the American (Soho House). It took our digestive systems a while to adapt to new foods, and we thought it prudent to play safe on a couple of evenings during our stay. The food here was also excellent. The service at all the restaurants we tried in Soho Square was excellent too. With regards to the offering at the hotel, we booked Lounge Access, which is highly recommended. It basically gives you soft drinks from 9am - 8pm with local alcoholic drinks available from 12 noon to 8pm all free. Cakes and pastries are available self-service in the lounge from lunchtime, and then at 6pm small canapes come out, again self service to have with your drinks. We enjoyed the local beer, white bubbly (you could also have pink) and the red wine during our stay and all were very good. The staff serving here are once again amazing - warm, friendly and polite as with all the staff. Special mention must got to Basaam and David who looked after us wonderfully. We stayed half board (which I probably wouldn't do again as you simply couldn't eat all the food you were offered on the menu), so would probably just book B&B next time. We stayed in a junior suite which was huge with a very large balcony with lovely views. The room was cleaned daily by the lovely Mahmood and was spotless. If there was a very minor commentary on the room it is that it possibly looked a little tired from a decor viewpoint ie: while the walls /ceilings looked freshly painted, it had huge panels of wood virtually covering all of one of the the walls and heavy dark green curtains which both seemed a little old-fashioned, but that's just my personal view. We had a problem with one of the sinks in the bathroom - a small leak and a stuck plug - but one call to the front desk, and an engineer appeared almost immediately to resolve - again, a mark of the excellent service here all round. We booked the hotel transfer to and Amr, our driver, was an absolute delight. It took us a couple of days to try out the various pools to decide where we preferred to sit, but they were all lovely. Ahmed greeted us each day with a smile to layout our towels on the loungers and put up our umbrellas. One thing I really liked was that behind the pool bar they had stocks of small cool boxes which they filled with ice and bottles of water, and brought them to your lounger to drink during the day. You could ask for it to be refilled as needed - all free. I'm not sure if it was free because we booked lounge access, but it was lovely. Montasser, the poor barman, was again extremely polite and friendly. The hotel had also just opened a new spa so I booked myself in for 2 massages - both 1hr 20 mins long - it was a full body massage - Omega I believe it's called. Again, the experience was fabulous. From the warm and friendly greeting by Ameira behind reception to the truly amazing massage I had from Ghaza, it was wonderful. Ghaza asked me at the start what sort of massage I like (soft, medium or hard) and adjusted accordingly. It was truly the best massage I've ever had. I realise I've gone on longer than expected, but we so enjoyed our visit, I felt I must include everything. All I can say is, it is a fabulous hotel, with wonderful staff and we're already looking to book again for next year.
