Set on a hillside, the Imperial Belvedere Resort Hotel has one of the best locations in Hersonissos, with the beach just a few meters away, and shops, bars and restaurants within easy reach. First off, it’s a large Premier Families complex, so it’s great for a hotel-based break, especially with its six swimming outdoor pools. Activities, shows and a full entertainment programme add an up-tempo vibe. While the kids’ club and mini-disco will keep things buzzing for little ones. The well run Imperial Belvedere Resort Hotel is suitable for families and couples who appreciate a friendly atmosphere in an idyllic location.

    Really Good All Inclusive
Stayed at the Royal & Imperial Hotel with my wife back in mid September 2024. We arrived late on Thursday 12th, reception staff were lovely and the hotel looked vast. We were taken to our room with our luggage by car and arrived at room 331 in the Imperial Hotel section. On arrival the room looked lovely, very spacious, double bed in one area with balcony, 2 single beds in another room separate dressing area and bathroom all of which looked lovely, and very clean. The room also had a fridge with bottled water which was replenished every day and air con. We quickly dumped the luggage and made our way to a bar for a few drinks before bed. Up for breakfast the following morning and time to explore - this resort is huge so it will take you a few days to find your way around and work out the short cute etc. The hotel has 4 pools, multiple bars, 2 buffet restaurants, 2 a la carte restaurants, an all day street food area and another pizza/burger and everything else bar providing you endless choice. During a 7 night stay you can also book into into both a la carte restaurants one which was traditionally Greek (I would highly recommend), the other oriental - we didn't bother. Once you find your way around you start getting comfortable with where to eat and what bars to visit. During the day we always got sun beds (which are very comfortable) at the adult pool, used the Blue Bar where all the staff were great especially Stratos. In the evenings we normally settled in the Poseidon bar after dinner, again the staff were very friendly and efficient especially Babis. This hotel is excellent, close to the town of Hersonissos (down the hill) and a few villages a 5 minute walk out the back gate. The hotel is massive, staff are great so friendly and helpful, food was lovely, drinks on the All Inclusive were ok and all in all we had a really good time. Just a couple of minor things that could be improved - paper cups 90% of the time for drinks (even beer) not great. I know we are trying to be sustainable but there must be a better alternative. Secondly no Metaxa (greek brandy) included in the all inclusive, think this should be added. Would go back and recommend this hotel to others.

    Brilliant hotel!!
Had a fantastic holiday!! This holiday was a short half term break(3 nights) with 2 teen sons and adult son. I can only say that we were delighted with the hotel! Arrived late at night, 2330 approx.Smooth check in.Food provided in restaurant for late arrivals. Bread, meat, cheese, olives, fruit and cakes. Bars were still open(open till 1am), which is late for all inclusive. And was very welcome! Helped to room by friendly staff. Room was immaculate. Water left in room. Fridge and kettle and tea and coffee. Balcony with a decent view of other apartments. Hotel is huge!!! Way bigger than I anticipated. Many pools and areas to sunbathe. Area by pool bar lovely soft padded sunbeds. Loads of areas to chill both in and out of the hotel. Took us ages to find our way around and explore. My kids loved it!! No way would you get bored here. Food and drink fab Plentiful and great quality. Lots at breakfast and dinner. Plenty of choices. We used snack bars for lunch. And again, they were great. Family loved the gyros! I'm a vegetarian and there were plenty of options for me. Drinks stations all around to help yourself to water, soft drinks, hot drinks , beer and wine. Or you could use the bars. The wine (I had white and rose) were nice. Spirits like vodka were branded and big measures. This hotel is like a village. Shops and hair salon, gym, and well being salon too. Entertainment during the day-darts etc Nighttime kids disco and there were quizzes whilst we we there which we joined in. All staff friendly. I have never been served so quickly at the bar in my life. It was busy but not crowded as late OCT. I can imagine it would be heaving in the summer. I would 100% return as this time wasn't long enough. So much more to say, but overall this is brilliant for families. Only negative is hardly ever got a drink in a glass. I understand the use of paper cups by the pool, but even in the bar , you are mostly given paper cups. Probably safety as people walk around with glass. Also, the donkeys and goats at the end of the hotel grounds, although well fed didn't have great enclosure. No greenery and no stimulation which made us sad. They liked a little fuss as we went past.chickend and ducks too, but their pen looked fine. Would 100% recommend this hotel!!!!

Four times at this hotel, 5th booked for September 2025
Back from this hotel for the fourth time . So I know hotel and surrounding area quite well and feel very comfortable there. On my arrival Michaelis (porter) immediately recognised me from last year , so friendly. He must see thousands of people but remembered me. I got upgraded to Superior room and free safe for my two weeks stay free of charge (Room 6023) on the "Royal" side - first time I had black wristband as always been " Imperial " before. Room had a very big walk in shower which I had requested as have some mobility problems and couldn't use a bath. Shower was lovely. Bed was comfortable and I had plenty of storage space just being on my own. One double bed and two single beds and two TVs (which I didn't really bother with). The bathroom sink was very tiny though! Daily maid Zhen/ Zen ( not sure of how she spelt her name ), was lovely and did a good job in my room. View was lovely from my room, outside restaurant, sea view and sunbeds patio. By the way I WAS due to go to this hotel in June 2024 and bring a friend who has not been there before, and we both paid a lot extra to have our own rooms, but she had to have spinal surgery so we have rearranged for September 25th 2025 now to allow her to recover. I have been praising this hotel so hope she'll like it too! Saying all that I have to say that one thing this time really ruined my two week trip. The CONSTANT harassment from the Spa staff to sign up for massages - you just couldn't sit anywhere and relax as they were at you one after the other, and I'd only just arrived, was still in my flight clothes and TRYING to get something to eat!!! They just wouldn't leave you alone. The following day I was again sitting at the Artemis bar on my phone, eating, and they came up behind me pestering me again . Paulina and Evi. Before I knew what was happening Evi had pulled my t shirt down a little of my shoulders and bra straps down a little and I was given a " free five minute massage" in the food court with hundreds of other guests around. I thought this was MY body, but I was so stunned I couldn't speak . As I have recently been diagnosed with shoulders arthritis and stupidly I had mentioned this I was coerced in signing up for a two part " Relaxation " package ( I still have the receipt as a " souvenir ") . I actually " dreaded " turning up for my first session but thought it may help my shoulder pain in the end. When I turned up for first session I had to take top half off ( for shoulders) but then I was told " No,no ALL off" meaning rest of clothes. NO NO WAY I said!!! Obviously a language barrier here then. It's my shoulders not my legs/feet etc. I absolutely HATED every SECOND of the 50 minute so called "treatment " and couldn't wait to not go to the second session, which although I was absolutely dreading and wished I hadn't paid for, I thought I would not of course get a refund. I turned up for the sand said just 20 minute shoulders and Nothing else. I am on blood pressure pills and this experience definitely put my BP up high. It was my first spa treatment in 69 years but NEVER again - I could have had a stroke with the stress and my shaking. I truly think the harassment of the spa staff needs to be addressed as people want to relax. If you want a massage you would go and enquire about it. I have nothing against spa staff, only doing their job, but you'll see me next year with a sign saying " do not disturb ". I will still come to this hotel but if I have any issues next year I will want to personally speak to the hotel owner ( not manager). Spa was not my " cup of tea " and pressurized is not what I wanted. As I said, I and friend booked for next September but I'm also thinking of booking for next May as well, but I dont want to be harassed while there. Sorry for very long review , but hopefully I won't need to take a "do not disturb " sign to hang around my neck. I love this resort and dont go anywhere else abroad now so would be a shame to stop going there . Oh, I don't do emails etc, not internet savvy.

    Brilliant 💯
A very beautiful experience in a very beautiful resort. Everything was perfect. Very good food as also very tasty cocktails at the bars. Food in every part of the hotel but also any time one wanted it. A big "thank" to Mr. Antonis for his hospitality and the service he provided throughout our stay. Our nights at the disco bar were just what we wanted. Everyone was polite and we had a great time. Thank you so much for everything!

    Late Family Holiday
This was an end of year catch the sun holiday with family. The hotel was a great stay in a great location for walks and there was plenty of walking as the complex is huge. The staff were fantastic even offering hot drink and breakfast when we left at 1.30am couldn't have asked for a better service. The food was fantastic and if you didn't find what you wanted there was a snack bar x 2 where Gyros were the best along with filled rolls, pizza and salad/fruit. Bars were plentiful serving local alcohol and soft drink and coffee machines were dotted everywhere to serve yourself with. The room was comfortable usual air conditioning, fridge, coffee making facilities balcony , plenty of wardrobe space could have done with more softer pillows but bed was comfortable. Cleaner changed towels and kept room immaculate throughout our stay daily. Entertainment team put 110% effort in from daylight to dark and kids loved them. Taxi to town was €10 but you could walk it in around 20 mins, just be prepared if you walk back it is all up hill. The hotel does lay on a minibus but never used it at the times it went out so can't comment on it. There was a tax to pay on arrival but we knew that and you could put a deposit down and get pool towels refundable on return. 6 pools but I do have to say at end of October they were absolutely freezing! The heated indoor pool wasn't much better really and full of kids playing ball. Two downsides to consider if wanting to stay here....lots of walking in complex as very large with lots of steps and slopes and although plenty of restaurants there are different colour wrist bands and although we were family we had different ones and each restaurant is specific to colour bands. As it was quiet the manager did allow us to eat together but I'm sure it will be different in the height of the season. As it was end of season a lot of things were closed and excursions weren't available due to closures. Weather wasn't guaranteed so boat trips and water sports weren't always available as a lot got cancelled due to winds and choppy sea. We loved our stay but such a big complex not sure I would return as I can imagine in summer it is heaving.
