RIXOS PREMIUM MAGAWISH

We booked independently and stayed in one of the so called suites. The suites are actually quite ugly blocks three or four stories high at the back of the resort. Block 40 is the noisiest where most couples are placed. Ironically this is next to the kids playground. I recommend you take earplugs because you are likely to hear Russians coming back drunk and music from the ‘English Pub’. There are usually motorbikes racing on the main road during the night. Be aware that there is currently building work as the resort is not yet finished . This starts at 7 AM and continues until 10 PM. You can sit in the panorama bar and watch the diggers approximately 50m away. Have a look on google earth and you will see how much bigger the resort will be. A large majority of the guests are families from Russia and Eastern Europe using the Fun and Sun tour operator. I guess they are paying substantially less than Western Europeans. The service at most of the bars is poor. The beach bar is certainly the worst. I ordered a Bacardi and Coke one lunchtime. He poured the Bacardi and told me to get my own can of Coke from one of the fridges ! As there are no adult only areas there will always be a child screaming or kids running around. This is especially annoying at the à la carte restaurants even at 8 PM. The evening entertainment isn’t even worth watching, unless you want to laugh at the unsynchronized dancing. The live band are OK, but it just becomes a bit repetitive. I couldn’t really sunbathe on the beach due to flies. Some people try with insect repellent which may work. Do not use the hotel to book a taxi to the airport. The rate is 25 USD. An Uber is 6 USD. You will sometimes see the hotel manager walking around. He is the one in the suit with no name badge and never interacts with any of the guests. You can see the fear in the eyes of the staff when he is in the vicinity. On a positive front the food quality is amazing. The waiting staff in the restaurants were very attentive. The hotel grounds are well maintained.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Salt Restaurant in the Rixos Hotel, located right next to the beach. The calming atmosphere, complemented by light music, made our night truly special. The food was exceptional, with generous portions and beautifully presented dishes. A special touch was the chef personally checking in to ensure our satisfaction, which highlights their dedication to a great dining experience. The service was outstanding—our waiters, Mansor and Hazem were kind, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. Their professionalism added to the overall charm of the evening. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious food, a serene setting, and impeccable service.

If there is one word to describe this hotel that word is OVERPRICED. We are regular Rixos Hotel guests and we were to Rixos Dubai, Rixos Sungate, Rixos Premium Belek, Rixos Tekirova, Dubrovnik and I have to say that this is the first time we are dissapointed and will not be choosing Rixos Hurghada ever again. Good things: Beach is nice Staff is helpful and polite Pool Villa (our room) was nice The only food which was good was the beef in the brasilian a la carte from chef Mohammad Ali Bad things: The food is terrible in main restaurants and absolutely not 5 stars, for food and beverage i give 1 star. Pool infront of villa was not heated (you said it was heated) Main pool is too small You have to wait hours to get a drink from beach waiters and pool waiters Organisation is lacking There are needs for renovation in the overall structure because you call yourself Rixos PREMIUM but if I see moldy walls that removes the Premium. People restaurant is terrible, terrible, and for the first time in my life I see eggs bennedict which is boiled egg with toast The main problem here is the PRICE. I dont have a problem to pay Premium price but I expect Premium everything. Next years when we are back in Hurghada we will for sure not be back here because you can get the same things in other resort for 1/4 of this price. Greetings from room 14006

I would like to mention Samy. A lot of guys worked good on the beach, but Samy was the best: speed and high quality service! Despite heat and sand, he worked most rapidly of all during our vacation. Unfortunately, we interacted with him only on the beach, but i’m sure that other guests in the restaurant were also satisfied and felt comfortable with his service, as we did on the beach! Everything was amazing! Big thanks to Samy! Looking forward to coming back soon and hope to see him again!

I visit the PANARAMA bar daily, with great pleasure, very tasty drinks, hospitable staff, funny, friendly guys who create an incredible atmosphere here. Many thanks to Mohamed Hagag and Mahmoud Zaki for understanding their visitors, despite the fact that not every guest has a good knowledge of English, these guys will understand absolutely anyone.
