The good points. The view from the hotel and the rooms is stunning. The pizza in the bar was good. Unfortunately that is it. The room we were given was not like any advertised on their website. It was very tired and run down. Frayed carpets, sockets which didn’t work and a bathroom you could hardly move in. There was also a smell of sewage which started to become noticeable on our first evening and by the following morning it was unbearable. Even with the bathroom door shut the bedroom stunk. We asked reception twice if we could change rooms or upgrade. Both times we were told they were fully booked. They sent someone to look at the sewage smell but all they did was spray air freshener in the room. We decided there was no way we could stay there and booked in to another hotel, of a lower star rating, at our own cost. The Pontikonisi are refusing to refund us for our room. They are saying we demanded to be upgraded for free and refused the offer of another room. This is an outright lie. We would not have spent over €300 on another hotel if this was the case. It’s very obvious this hotel has upgraded a handful of the rooms to a very high standard and these are the ones they advertise. I know all the other reviews speak highly of this hotel but be very careful when booking. Especially if using Love Holidays like we did.

Exceptional stay! Beautiful views, spacious and clean rooms, and friendly staff made our visit unforgettable. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, a great representative of Greek hospitality. Ideal location near Corfu’s highlights. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable experience!

We lived in the bungalow in the Pontokonisi hotel in October 2024. Awesome place in beatuful location. In the morning the sun peeked into our windows, and right from the bed we could see beautiful sea und Pontokonisi island. The number itself is comfortable, it has everything you need for your rest: air conditioner, moisture absorber, fumigator, kitchen appliances and cookware, TV, large comfortable bed, sofa, big bathroom with accessories, safe, heated pool, personal barbecue place, personal sunbeds with sun umbrella, amaizing flowers in the yard, buffet breakfast is included. Breakfast will satisfy not too demanding reguests - hot appetizers, eggs, greek pies, vegetable, meat and cheese platter, pana cotta, sweet pastries, muesli, fruits and more. You can sunbath and swim nearby your bungalow, no need to go or drive anywhere. Passing planes do not cause any incovenience, they do not fly or the windows do not let in noise )))). There are no problems gettings to the hotel by car or buses. There is parking. Very helpful and pleasant personal. We will definitely come back to this hotel!

Excellent hotel in great location.All rooms are facing the famous Ionian sea.Rich breakfast to fulfill different tastes.Staff was super friendly and ready to help in all guests demands.Pool was amazing,to relax and have a drink from the hotel’s snack bar.And of course the private beach that you can chill and enjoy the magnificent view of the Ionian sea.Highly recommend it
