Well where do I start, an absolutely fantastic holiday. My sister and newly brother in law had there wedding at the hotel with 45 accompanying guests. The hotel went above and beyond to make my sisters day the best. I want to say a special thank you to Yousef and Smiler who kept all the guests looked after, all the staff at this hotel are amazing and work so hard with a smile on there face, nothing too much trouble. The cost of the hotel was so reasonable for all inclusive and appreciate its a little tired but definitely value for money. The kitchen caters for the masses which makes sense but if you cant find anything suitable just ask they will accommodate the best they can. We had additional meals such as burgers , Pie good old English greats. Locally there is an English bar 5 minutes from hotel where you can get a full English or roast dinner if missing this. I thoroughly enjoyed the meals as the scales can tell you oops. This was my second trip and year visiting Egypt and this hotel and will be returning in March for a solo trip, I felt so looked after by everyone that a solo trip I am more than comfortable with. The rooms are clean and beds made daily, the bathrooms are tired and need of refurb but this is on the agenda, it is value for money and definitely top for customer service. Really very nice hotel the rooms and food are great but I want to ask you to highlight Youssef he was really the best person in the hotel and he helps me with everything and explains to us about the hotel really thank you Youssef for everything and we will come back to see you soon

Not sure who is writing these review's, however the food is so awful the staff are even moaning, there is no good food or glasses to drink from!! The pools are ok, rooms big and basic and clean. There is a sister hotel you can get a bus from the Parrotel ! Watch my reviews fir more.

We were very worried about coming to this hotel as we had heard such bad reviews. However we thought let’s just go and make our own minds up. First the hotel is a budget hotel and it caters for different nationalities including German, Russian and Egyptians. It’s worth keeping this in mind. The hotel is slightly dated and does need a freshen up. Some areas like the bedrooms are tired however, reception and the restaurant were well presented and clean. The rooms are tired and you can see patch up jobs in some areas. However, the rooms are clean and are an okay base. We saw no signs of bed bugs in our rooms as suggested by another review. The bedding was clean on arrival and our room was attended every day and beds made. Bedding was not changed in 7 days but towels were changed most days. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom, it wasn’t the best so luckily we took our own. There was a safe, a small fridge and toilet paper and water bottles were replenished every day. The food was my biggest struggle as it caters for different nationalities. Breakfast was good -omelette/egg station, toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt and sometimes things you are not expecting like mad potatoes or grilled aubergines. You have to remember that this is a hotel which serves different nationalities so you are not going to get a full English. Breakfast was okay for us and we always found something. Lunch and dinner could be a struggle as the food is not foods I would usually eat. So I stuck to salads, pasta, chicken etc. I’m not very adventurous however some of our party were and enjoyed the food. Chicken nuggets and burgers were served once during the week we stayed. So if you have children who enjoy this type of food it won’t be available every day. There is a snack bar by aqua park which serves nice pizza and chips so this might be a good option at lunch. We ate out a few times at the Union Jack bar 5 mins away also at Nam and Soho Square. The pool area is clean and Jimmy the pool guy will look after you during your stay. Also pool staff Yusoff is very attentive and will keep your drinks topped up. The drinks are ok. The beer was drinkable and I thought the house vodka, rum and white rum was good. The hotel has branded mixers but Coke Zero or Diet Coke is short supply. The ice is safe as it comes in plastic bags. The hotel staff are absolutely brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble and they will really look after you. This really shone above some premium hotels we have stayed in before. Smiler and Yousoff are just the best and they work so hard to make sure you have the best time. There was no entertainment during our stay which we struggled with but we did manage some nights out as taxis were so cheap. We didn’t use the aqua park but we heard good things about it. It can be chaotic in the restaurant with certain nationalities who do try to push in. Just be firm and polite and they will step back. Mozzies are everywhere shower the hotel does spray the grounds each night and also rooms are sprayed daily. Get sprays from the pharmacy. Avon skin so soft and Jungle formula from U.K. does not work and we were eaten alive. Spray from the chemist outside was £2 and worked. We also got antibiotic bite cream for about a £1. Pop into the Union Jack bar next door, a lovely friendly place. The food is good too with English favourites if you are missing home. They also have branded drinks. To finish, Yes the hotel is tired but the staff excel and we had a good holiday. Please don’t be put off. It’s a great hotel, with great staff. If you don’t like the food just eat out. It’s not expensive to do so. Go and enjoy and make your own minds up!
