MITSIS CRETAN VILLAGE BEACH HOTEL

What a place! We had such a wonderful holiday. Every single member of staff is friendly and kind - from the lifeguards to the bar staff. We particularly liked the food on offer - we never went hungry and the drinks were excellent, especially the evening cocktails from a proper menu and table service - and served in a glass! This is very unusual from an all inclusive. Our rooms were basic but cleaned every day with fresh clean towels and linens. We had an issue with our flush on the toilet - this was dealt with in ten minutes from calling the reception. The pools were clean and the lifeguards were proactive - this made us feel so safe with our little ones. Lovely grounds and very well kept. The evening entertainment was excellent - some great music and a really good kids’ disco. We stayed until the last day of the season and everything was still open and available and nothing was ever too much trouble. The only two things (and I’m being very picky) is the lack of kids’ activities from the animation team during the day. We weren’t approached by them to get involved in anything, which was a shame. Also, the beach was out of action for the whole of our stay (not the hotel’s problem of course!) We would definitely return, especially to a Mitsis. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday. We went as 2 x families of 4. We all had a great time, would 100% recommend. Plenty of pools and sunbeds, foods good, staff are great (Nagy on the bar, what a great guy and the lady on the crepes) Only negative which isn't the hotels fault is the beach was a red flag for the whole 10 days, such a shame. There isn't much in the local area, a shop and sports bar next door. If you can't walk far then for €10 you can get a taxi to Hersonissos Harbour which is lovely, the hotel will book you a taxi which comes within minutes. If you're reading this review and youre unsure , just book it! There's pool tables, air hockey, football tables, plenty bars and pools and crepes served all day.

Absolutely amazing!!! The food and staff were absolutely incredible. I can't recommend the La Pergola and the Cretan Village enough Thank you for a fabulous night, a truly wonderful holiday and some lovely memories. I can't wait to return.

Very happy with our stay there. This is the second time we visit a Mitsis hotel and, based on our experience, we would love to come back to this chain. The Mitsis Cretan Village felt indeed like a small, traditional village. Although it was full, it never felt overcrowded, there was always space around the swimming pools and the beach. Plenty of space for plenty of activities. One can party or relax there, depending on their wish! This is something I appreciated lot! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our flight was in the evening and although we had planned to visit Heraklion on that day, we decided to enjoy the day at the resort. The reservations department was very kind to help us with a late check-out in another room. Thanks a lot for the experience, Mitsis Cretan Village!

Lovely place, great staff, amazing food and facilities. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Cat lovers will adore this place. From the moment we arrived we were looked after by the great staff. Each evening had a different menu as well as the several different restaurants you can dine in. Tye bars offer great service and amazing cocktails.
