LUJO HOTEL BODRUM

-The all inclusive is really good choice as you get to have meals all over the day in any of the amazing restaurants they have with different causines. -The pools are a bit small and the swimming area in the beach is not that nice and was a bit crowded beach.though i liked the beach volleyball. - there is a place for desert and high quality ice creams with chocolate fountain and toppings which was my favorite. I liked the luxury spa along with the healthy mixes they provide at the bar inside spa, but i had a very bad experience in the massage but they were kind and apologized and offered a second complimentary one which was way better and done in the proper way. I still think the massage was a bit expensive. - thanks to the joy advisors julide & Tetiana who made our stay more enjoyable and comfortable. - one very upsetting issue we had was that someone kept entering our room although we put Do not disturb sign and made sure its there.

It’s that old cliche, we mostly only write something if it’s exceptional or awful. This hotel is perfection. They have thought of everything you could desire. They have a huge children’s club where I made pottery from scratch in their well equipped pottery room with my child. The food really is of the highest 5 star standard. Delicious & elegantly presented at all of the Restaurants. Like most high end ‘All inclusive’ resorts it’s essential to book your tables ahead of arrival to secure the best slots. The Turkish “Asma” restaurant, Italian “Sorriso” restaurant (lots of fresh truffle items!) and the fish restaurant “Gaia” with delicious food and stunning beach views. All restaurants also cater for picky eaters / children’s palates too. In the main restaurant “Koza” we were regularly served by the most lovely waiter, Kamel. Polite, warm and super efficient. In the fish restaurant we were regularly served by the equally polite and gentle Murat. He always went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome. We also have to mention the patisserie…Emre is an unbelievable character who is front of house for the Patisserie. He is worthy of his own television show. As well as being a pastry chef he is an international Rubiks cube champion who can decipher any cube within six seconds!!! (Even behind his back). It’s amazing to observe. He is also a Muay Thai kick boxing champion and a multi linguist. His happiness is infectious. Emre talks you through his exquisite desserts with great pride. Whilst many five star hotel desserts look beautiful they can sometimes not live up to the taste, Lujo’s offerings are just incredible. There is also another level to the resort patisserie (which was my personal favourite.) A high end professional chocolatier which is included. These aren’t ordinary chocolates. There are two VERY talented Chocolatiers on site Zeynep and Aykut. They produce limited edition gourmet chocolates in the coffee shop alongside the home made Icecreams. I was told one trained in Belgium. They make Lindt chocolates seem very basic. I could keep going on forever about the quality of the rooms (stunning) & entertainment etc. Our cleaner Semina cleaned to such a high standard each day. No quick wipe overs! She even rinsed our beach shoes daily to get rid of the sand and left them to dry on the balcony. Hopefully you will have got the clear idea of the quality of the hotel if you are considering booking. I must save the best til last, you get provided with a personal ‘Joy advisor’ for your holiday. Our Joy Advisor was called Anna. As with all of the staff, Lujo hotel somehow matches the right person to the right job perfectly. It’s a skill. Anna was warm, calm and smiley with the poise and grace of a swan. Nothing was a problem even though she was probably extremely busy. She knew instinctively when to leave you alone to relax and when to offer suggestions. We got so much more out of this holiday because she simply dealt with everything. Whatever your wish. One of my children was sick (non hotel related) and the kindness of this young lady was genuinely heartfelt. We felt like her family for the week. Thank you Lujo for such lovely memories.

We had a fantastic time at Lujo and would most definitely recommend to other. From the arrival and welcome, the room and all the staff and their service to the food and restaurants. It was a shame that due to travelling out of season that a number of places were closed but the options and menus at the open establishments were fab.

Lovely hotel, great service but the noise levels are terrible. We booked for Oct half term and only had 3 restaurants opened for dinner in the last week despite being told more would be opened. We got an upgrade to a room with shared pool which was beautiful but there is no soundproofing between the rooms. We have a family with young children beside us and we heard every noise all of the time. Every evening the techno dicso played until midnight. It echoed throughout the whole resort. Every family we met complained about the level of the music and despite the disco being almost empty most nights, they did not address or adjust the sound level. We tried to sleep to this appalling sound of the music for the entire week and despite contacting the hotel nothing was done about it. It’s such a shame as the resort is amazing, the food and staff, other than the issue with the soundproofing and loud disco music which meant we couldn’t get a decent sleep .

Best experience. First time in Bodrum and I had a blast during the stay. Hotel has really nice location, nice beaches and very clean sea. Food was excellent and at top level. All restaurants. Huge variety and high quality drinks. Rooms are clean and being taken care of many times a day. Also night life was very nice with shows and DJs. DJs played also great stuff at the 16+ beach. To highlight also the support from the hosts Ekaterina and Mikhail who made sure nothing was left and forgotten. Definitely will come again.
