LOUVRE HOTEL

I really liked the staff, the room was clean and quiet. The beds were ok, we had air conditioning. We booked from the site Booking and the hotel was as in the pictures. We had a balcony whit a very nice view so that was amazing. The only downside was that at night we had very much mosiquitos in the room, so you might wanna bring along something for the 🦟. Otherwise it was a nice stay. They also had a pool which was cool and the beach was located 100m from the hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights this hotel is fantastic. Staff very helpful, breakfast great, rooms spotless and very well designed, pool area lovely and peaceful. Right in the centre of gouvia a few bars and lots of restaurants on your doorstep we particularly like Food for the Soul and BBQ Art. The beach is 5 minute walk away it is a pebble beach but absolutely beautiful 12euros for 2 beds and umbrella. We will definitely return.

Just back from 4 nights at Louvre hotel and what a great hotel it is. A small basic hotel but everything you need. Rooms are more than adequate with large wardrobe, mini fridge, dressing table, balcony, safe, air con. Pool area is very inviting and plenty of sun loungers. Buffet breakfast is excellent, continental with cereal, pastries, toast, cheese, meats, yogurt and fruit as well as hot, bacon, eggs, sausage, tea, coffee and juice. Hotel has a great atmosphere and staff very friendly, always happy to help and very clean everywhere. Plenty of bars and restaurants and 2 minutes from beach. Taxi rank within 3 minutes walk. Would definitely return

Excellent hotel. Remote control air conditioning was really good - could keep the room at steady 20 degrees while outside was 35. Good soundproof rooms, nice breakfast options, 2 minutes from the pebble beach which was beautiful and good for swimming.

This is our second visit to Louvre Hotel, Gouvia so obviously we enjoyed our first visit!. The hotel is right in the middle of Gouvia and plenty choice of restaurants and bars close by, so you’d never be stuck for somewhere to eat or drink. Louvre is a small hotel with 25 rooms, the rooms are nicely decorated and have recently been refurbished, yes they are basic but has everything you need for a nice relaxing break. The air con is a must in the height of summer, hairdryer and small fridge (god send) also complimentary shower gel and hand wash is supplied and there are tea and coffee facilities. The shower room is small and there’s no shower screen so water soaks the floor when your showering but there is a drain, a suggestion for management would maybe a squeegee would be useful instead of a bath mat as it gets soaked! The rooms are serviced everyday and the staff do an amazing job at this aspect with clean towels daily and sheets changed often 👍🏼 The pool area although small we never found a problem getting a lounger anytime of the day, a nice quiet spot to relax and chill for the day, not much for young kids to do but the beach is just a 5 minute walk away. Breakfast is a selection of cereal, cold meat, cheese, tomatoes, yogurts and fruit etc, there are also hot too with bacon, sausage and eggs and will satisfy most people. Finally not to go unnoticed all the staff who are friendly and helpful which is real positive to Louvre. Would I come back here again? most definitely.
