LONG BEACH

We had a lovely time at Long Beach as a family of 11 I had reservations as the reviews I had read were not good especially by English holiday makers facilities were great the beach was lovely even though we had a upgrade to red bands for the Villas restaurant the choice was mainly the same every night but it was nicely cooked and edible but a bit more variety needed we stayed in a 2 bedroom duplex room with a sea view lovely and clean but the road noise and VERY loud music affected sleep for my husband I was ok if I could get to sleep before it started up but 3 nights I didn’t manage this and was awake most of the night maybe double or triple glazing would help solve this problem but overall we had a lovely time

Fantastic hotel, especially for families. Massive place maybe too big if you don't wanna walk around much. Lifts could be better and staff weren't all that amazing with English but nothing google translate couldn't get past. I'd actually give this place a 4 and a half star so I've been generous with the 5. The food was good but slightly repetitive but that was our own fault as we didn't make use of the themed restaurants on site. Good location not far from local markets and restaurants are within 10/15 minute walks. Staff were friendly. Tons if swimming pools and at least 4 or 5 with slides for the kids. Beach was lovely. Sunsets were amazing. People moaning about ither nationalities in previous comments, people can be rude from any nation. 98% were just fine just the occasional person would try and push the queue at lifts or when waiting for food. Get that everywhere though. It was clean most places. Could do with a touch up in certain areas but I guess one of the problems with such a huge hotel is maintaining it and keeping on top of it all. Hotel WiFi was pretty good, lost signal a bit in the beach tunnel and little spots here and there but overall was good. Drinks were decent too. I think like most holidays as long as the basics are in place and the kids are happy and occupied with plenty to do then it's a hit. This place ticked them boxes. Even did pony rides. Also the zip line was great and they loved that. The fairground rides were good fun too. The dolphin park was 5 minutes walk and good value for money as long as you just watch the show. If you want to swim with the dolphins it becomes expensive so we gave that a miss. Found it much cheaper at previous places we've been but it's a wonderful experience. We ate out twice and both times the food was a hit but found Blue Shark was a great place. Football on the TV, food was good and they did karaoke for a bit after the football had finished too plus they picked up from the hotel on request and dropped you back after too all for free. Would deffo come back while the kids are young.

I’ve been to many places all over the world but this was my worst hotel experience. -don’t pick a room with sea view - the music is super loud, the noise from the road will make you feel you sleep in a tent by a motorway next to a bar. No difference if the balcony door is open or shut. -you can’t hide under the pillows in hope for some sleep because you get only one “pancake”pillow each -we had MANY cockroaches in our rooms. Yes! Cockroaches in a 5 star hotel. Not only in the bathroom but in our beds, in the wardrobe, everywhere. Happy to provide photos for curious people. - on a Saturday morning at 8:20am we’ve been woken up by a very rude travel agent. He insisted we’ve missed a meeting. He was raising his voice on the phone at me as I was confused what he actually wanted from me. Needless to say we had no idea about it and we were not interested in any trips especially at 8:20am on a Saturday on our family holiday. The guy apparently left a brochure on the door step with my full name and room number. I guess there is no such thing as GDPR in Turkey? I went to the reception but the only thing the lady did was to call the travel agent back. He didn’t apologise or anything like that. He was very rude and hung up. - the food was ok but the whole family ended up with a stomach bug so our flight back home was a nightmare. -the staff barely spoke English -the cleaning ladies didn’t do their job properly- dead cockroaches left for days on the floor, sand in beds… -many signs of ware and tear - our bathtub was pealing, broken socket covers… - the kids enjoyed the slides -people are allowed to take food and drink to their rooms so you see dirty dishes on trolled pretty much in each corridor -all the drinks were terrible- coffee, juice (just sugar and water, most of the time just water), cocktails tasted awful- different every time, no shaking, just pouring in your glass We were travelling with another family who experienced their own issues and even agreed to move room. Both families agreed we would not return or recommend this hotel. We’ve been to other resorts in Alanya before and for the first time I would say this was our worst hotel experience ever!

The best hotel I’ve ever been at! For the third time here and sure coming next year Thanks for the animation team, Nisa specially! Very big territory, a lot of activities to do! Amusement park is something else. Best place to visit with children, you sure will find what to do here!

This hotel is HUGE! A little daunting at start, but one get used to where everything is its great. Multiple pools, slides and depths for all ages. Cold, warm and salt water pools for options. Beach front, sand is gorgeous and sea was beautiful. Food was lovely, could always find somethinng for all ages and food preferences. Good drink options. Even if not staying in Villas try and get upgrade to red bands! The main restaurant is chaotic with queues for ages for anything, so if you have hungry kids they will not be happy! Lovely little coffee and cake shop on site also. Mini pony rides on site were so lovely for the little ones. Fairground on site for free was a great addition. Zipline across length of hotel at additional cost, but the kids loved it! Stayed in family duplex room, clean, spacious, beds were very comfortable ... HOWEVER ...... If you are a light sleeper or have children DO NOT get a sea view room. Loud music playing from 9.30pm to 2.30am. When i say loud i mean LOUD! Sounded like a night club in our room! The sliding door to balcony in single pane - some nights you could hear the windows shaking from the music. Think music was coming from near the beach front, so hotel is set back so goodness knows how loud the music was where it was coming from. At best i had 4 hrs sleep on occasional nights, but most nights battled through on 1-3 hrs sleep ... holidays are different for everyone, but i do like to sleep after busy days. Again ... cant stress enough how loud this was!
