LAREN FAMILY HOTEL & SPA

The pictures are deceiving the pool, more bath tub, in fairness, it’s not bad, but the wardrobe for 3 people is sooooo small, 4 hangers😂, and it’s colours are so depressing and dark, the balcony just about get a chair on it, some of the staff 😒 our bed never got changed till we asked first time we ask they said it was done NOT, I need to borrow an iron, and was told I had to send it out, but no guarantees when it came back🙈, food so so, then we found out they do have an iron, but they won’t let you have it because the flight crews need it, so they look after the flight crews every need, rooms are tightly squeezed, it wasn’t to bad for what we where their for dental work, as was most of hotel, but couldn’t wait to get out of it, it depressing, miles away from beach, and as I said bathtubs pool, not enough sun beds for the occupants, so please THINK twice if your thinking of using this hotel as family holiday. And the beach is a lot to be desired, the hotel is in a more residential area, so it’s even more depressing, but that’s just my personal opinions if it helps you decide then good😎

Well i had 28 new teeth done last year by new look smile brilliant job well looked after by Ollie but came over last week for my 10 year anniversary a holiday and a check up booked Jacuzzi room 3 months ago turned up round 10 was told the room we booked was all ready occupied so we was put in a double room no problem to late to start moaning just wanted to get some sleep after the flight anyway we was bed and breakfast witch would cost 110 euro per night the room we booked was 220 euro per night. Went for my check up every thing great well looked after by new look smile even dropped me and the wife to the sea life centre for free any way told Ollie about the cock up with the hotel and he got straight on the phone to see what the mess up was by the time i came out of my check up he had sorted the problem out when we got back to the hotel we was upgraded to the room we originally booked for the same price as the double room and up graded to full board we only paid 1100 euro for 7 nights witch was a big discount thank you new look smile . Apart from that me and the wife was out every day doing trips but when we came back the one day we asked for ice in our 2 litre drinks bottle witch we take upstairs to the room for our own drink went outside for a cigarette before we went up and the manager came out and said we cant drink our own drink downstairs i said im just having a cigarette before we go up anyway on the day of the England match i went next door to grab a pizza when i walked back in to the hotel i was told i cant bring food in and would have to take it up to my room that was my intentions any way but i turned round to the manager and told him i have seen people eating pizza every night round the pool area even his own staff also they was over charging for drinks at the bar i found a lovely little bar round the corner witch had the football on and charged cheaper prices for drinks. Apart from that me and the wife had a great holiday thank you new look smile top service as always .

Absolutely awful hotel, restaurant is extremely poor! Ended up eating out as very small selection of terrible food!! Staff are rude and unhelpful, fridge in room broken, tv remote broken. All inclusive is laughable, can not get a cold drink before 10am or after 11pm without paying extortionate prices. I certainly wouldn’t stay here again

Lovely little hotel. My wife and I are on our last of a 7 night, all inclusive stay at the Laren Family hotel and we could not be happier with the service we have received. The food is good quality and there is always a plentiful selection accross the breakfast (0700-1030), Lunch (1230-1400), snacks (1530-1630), Dinner (1900-2100) and Late snacks (2330-0000). My wife was having dental treatment and there were plenty of soft options for her to eat.The Restaurant is very relaxed and although the hotel was full, it was never too busy, the staff will serve you drinks from the bar to your table so it does not feel like a buffet and more like a proper restaurant. The bar and pool were equally tranquil and very relaxing, the poolside bar was not operating while we were there but the staff will serve you at your lounger or table so it wasnt really a problem and the lobby bar was just inside the building. The rooms are nice with small balconies but theres still enough room to sit out in the evening with a drink. Everything was clean in the room and the maids were in every day. We marked it as 4 stars just because the bathroom was a little tired however when compared to the value for money, we could not complain. Finally the staff are amazing and work extremely hard to make your stay very pleasant, everything is being cleaned constantly, glasses, plates, cutlery swiftly taken away when you are finished, tables and chairs all arranged nicley once you leave so it looks inviting for the next occupants. Special mention to the front of house staff: Ahmet, Butahan, Onur, Hakan, Dilek, Enes, Hesuyin & an EXTRA Special mention to Mustafa (Very funny), Burhan (Beautiful cocktails) & Zelal (Happy smile every day). You all work very hard and are a credit to your families and the Laren Hotel. Thank you. Mr & Mrs Reddick. Nearby activities: There are other bars and restaurants dotted around a short walk away. The see front is beautiful cliffs and theres a lovely safe path along its top with gardens and benches. The Beautiful old town is just 10 mins in a taxi which will cost around 400Lira (£5) one way, we recommend going in the evening. Tip: If you are not sure, just ask!

I travelled with my partner here while they had dental work. The hotel was very clean and the staff were brilliant and pure gentlemen - always going out their way to help! The hotel is close to a lovely coastal walk - recommend walking down the steps to swim in the ocean. Food is good as well bit disappointed that cocktails and Prosecco were not included in all inclusive.
