KIRMAN SIDERA LUXURY & SPA

Got really sick during my stay here, after sushi night where sushi was left out and not refrigerated in the main restaurant. The Al a carte Italian restaurant was also awful where we had to send back a chicken dish that was raw and the waiter said he was not trained to know whether chicken was raw when you could touch that it was cold with blood visible. They didn’t tell the chef and there was no apology. The risotto was made with cream and looked like A lumpy rice pudding with Parmesan sprinkled on top. Awful! The food court put me off when I seen the burger stand guy touch raw meat and then cross contaminate everything else by touching the salad and burger buns. Just disgusting food quality, only thing we could eat was the chips there. The bars had staff who were hit and miss on pouring drinks, but the drinks were local and non brand which tasted awful - I usually have never complained about local brands, but these drinks tasted like they had been watered down and were awful to drink. Definitely not what you would get in a 5 star hotel.the lounge bar staff were very rude, the young chap was on his phone and wouldn’t acknowledge you unless you told him to pour you a drink, clearly staff need to be trained. Most staff don’t understand English so it’s a struggle communicating with them, you are stuffed if you need anything during your stay! 90% guests were Russians so all the entertainment was catered for them. The hotel is tired and doesn’t look like the pictures, with carpet looking faded and being 15 years old in the lounge bar and in room hallways. The rooms themselves are also tired with wallpaper peeling off and hallways. Furniture in bars and on the pier looks disgusting with water stains on the knackered chairs and sofas. You can’t sit on them unless you lay a towel down or something. Mini bar was stocked once during our 7 night stay, the cleaning was awful they only make beds no bedding changed whilst we were there. No one mopped the floors, and the cleaner wouldn’t replace our bathroom towels so it took us 3 to 4 phone calls to reception to get the towels replaced in the bathroom, due to the staff not knowing English it becomes a headache to ask for anything. The main restaurant was frustrating trying to find a seat, staff were unhelpful they couldn’t care less whether you found a seat or not, they wouldn’t even come around to get your order for drinks. Which made the experience very irritating. They have staff on site that try and make money from tourists and try and rip you off especially the tour rep Emma - who kept on calling to try and arrange numerous meetings with us to sell us rip off excursions despite us declining numerous times she wouldn’t stop calling! If you want a 5 star experience with good food, nice surroundings, with good service from staff, and entertainment that is good - then avoid Kirmen Sidera!

Just returned from Kirman Sidera, on the whole it was a beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean (they are always cleaning) and excellent food with plenty of choice for everyone. Pools were lovely, the large pool is very cold, however, give it a few minutes if you’re moving and it does become bareable. The other pool is a much better temperature and could stay in there all day. Plenty of sunbeds and you can always get one - whatever time of day. A couple of people reserve them early but no mad rush like you see elsewhere in other hotels. Relaxed vibe, music playing around pool (if sat in wrong place you get 3 lots of music from pool, restaurant and outdoor workout area which could be too much for some) Water slides were ok, some hurt but kids enjoyed them. Some of the lifeguards were constantly on mobile phones, one was even asleep on lounger in the indoor pool. So I wouldn’t rely on them. In other Turkey hotels, some of the guests were so rude and pushed in all the time - this hotel does have a few rude guests but no where near the level of other hotels which is a plus for me! Sea was beautiful - beach is pebble but nice. The pier is important part of choosing the hotel, we love to spend the latter part of the day there - sadly, both sides are fence off with red barrier tape so wasn’t a pretty as looked in the picture - we stuck the the beach instead. Compared to other Turkey hotels, the quality of the shows weren’t as good, but good enough to pass the evening. The BMX, break dancing & roller blade show was superb - by far the best one! Sadly, the al cartes were all fully booked so couldn’t get in (apart from fish but my daughter wouldn’t have enjoyed it), I’d suggest booking as soon as you arrive. We did notice as went to take a picture, that one of fire doors (floor 3 right hand side looking out to sea) didn’t open! Overall the hotel was brilliant, exceptionally clean, great food and would highly recommend and would visit again.

On arrival quick check in no welcome drink bellboy took us too room Perfect room very clean and view amazing You can use your own netflix on the TV which is handy My only real complaint although the quality of the food was excellent most off the time it was luke warm There's loads off shops very near hotel and a big supermarket I did use the spa and enjoyed it but was left with bruised arms

Stayed here for 10 days in September and had a lovely holiday. Arrived in the early hours, didn't have the warmest welcome, but we were offered food and shown to our room. Room was lovely, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, amazing shower, stocked minibar and everything you need. Had a low floor so didn't have the best view but could see the sea. Food was amazing with a wide choice at every meal. Huge range of drinks available on all inclusive, including bottled lager and branded spirits, all served by very friendly, hard working bar staff and waiters. Beautiful pools, all kept clean and a lovely temperature. Drinks constantly served by waiters on roller skates and lovely man with a trolley. Beach had a lovely pier with a bar you could help yourself to water and soft drinks and easy access into the sea. This was our first time in Turkey, but will hopefully be back again.

We are 7 times in this hotel,and every time we enjoyed our vacation. Kirman Sidera offer to guest everything for a comfortable stay- kitchen,drinks,entertainment,cleanlines - all are the best. Very friendly and helpfull staaf,special thanks to GR M.Asst Khrysrtyna and Lyazzat,they were very polite and make their best for me and my wife
