KERKYRA BLUE HOTEL & SPA

Spent a week here as daughter wanted some half term sun. For a 'holiday hotel' it's very good; Quality room fittings, nice bathroom, reasonable air con, fast wifi, very good food, all inclusive basis and friendly staff. Cannot ask for a lot more from this kind of hotel. Also close to Corfu Town for exploring.

This is an excellent, very well run hotel. The staff, the food and the facilities are all 5* commensurate with it's rating. The choice of restaurants is an added bonus although the choice and quality of food in the main restaurant was outstanding for a buffet and we all said we could have eaten there every night. The cocktails were made with named spirits not the local ones. The wine was excellent too and limitless. All of the public areas were kept very clean. The two pools were surrounded by plenty of very comfortable sun loungers. The pools are unheated and a bit cold but once in, very refreshing. Corfu town is a must to visit and the hotel is only a couple of miles away at most. A taxi ride was €15. There was also a regular bus service. I was with three girlfriends and we all said we would certainly return.

The hotel and staff were excellent. I would recommend anyone going. 3 pools, excellent restaurants, air con in all the rooms. Rooms serviced everyday and entertainment every evening, either on the decking or in the amphitheatre. We went all inclusive

We arrived at night having booked a ‘sea view’ room and woke up to a jaw dropping panoramic view of the Mediterranean..lovely room, lots of space, spotlessly clean, the cleaning staff do a top job at this hotel it’s immaculate, the food was the best we’ve had on an all inclusive holiday by far, fresh salad and fruits, hot and cooked on site buffets, well thought out for children and adults. Sunbeds- more sunbeds than people and super comfy with basically a linen mattress, loved them. Lots of space outside and in at this hotel, we never felt crowded, separate pool for small children, adult and family pool and an adult pool with spacious grounds in between …the staff were just so lovely ..the older women working in the section outside nearest the coffee machine were amazing and we just really liked them. We were waved into lunch after we’d technically ‘checked out’ on our last day and also supper before we left…I was keen to see The Durrell house whilst on Corfu and bizarrely realised I could see it from our balcony so we hired a boat and a really great pilot who took us out around Corfu including snorkelling, Durrell House and history ..perfect holiday for us …

Excellent hotel, cant fault cleanliness or staff, animation team were one of the best we have come across on our travels, they took the time to learn whole family's names (16 of us) Daytime activities were good for all ages, nighttime mini disco very much aimed at younger children but didnt stop our lot joining in. Nothing really for older children and teenagers to do in the evenings, no pool table or games room, but WIFI was good at all parts of the hotel grounds. Food and drinks were very good, not the biggest buffet but the quality made up for it and no one went hungry. Tried both ala carte restaurants during our stay food was top notch but we preferred the Japanese, they are a fixed menu so tried things i wouldnt have normally eaten. Hotel is in a very quiet area between Corfu Town and Gouvia, we caught the public bus both ways, it was quite easy not the busiest time of year for shopping as alot of places closing for the end of season, bus stop right outside hotel but the road is very busy, so not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Pools very cold, but maybe warmer in the summer months, the little beach area in the hotel grounds is nice but grassy in the water so pool shoes recommended but you can walk out quite far and still only be waist high, you can also hire boats, paddle boards and peddle boats from the man there, and he will also take you out on inflatables or parasailing for a reasonable price. If you are looking for a nice quiet, relaxing holiday then I would recommend this hotel, Would stay again
