GRAND ROTANA

A wonderful, relaxing, luxury break for our 20th Anniversary getaway. The hotel and staff made the whole experience a real treat. Our room was spotlessly clean, with soft fluffy pillows and a comfy king size bed. Cleaning staff always thorough and attentive. The food at the hotel was REALLY good. We are two foodies who are obsessed with cooking, so you can take it from us that the food was of a very high standard. There was so much variety, and a lot of regional dishes to enjoy as well as plenty of western food options as well. There was always a BBQ grilling fresh fish or crabs every evening. The wait staff at both the Palms restaurant by the sea, and the buffet restaurant were excellent. A special shout mention to Ehad who was the manager of The Palms restaurant. Such a friendly guy, who looked after us so well. Always making sure we had our drinks topped up, or making sure we had a lovely seat by the sea. He really went above and beyond and was always friendly and smiling. All the wait staff work so hard and they do it with a smile. We were really impressed. The hotel is located on a stretch of private beach which has the famous Sharm coral reef which is teeming with beautiful sea life. They have 3 jettys so you can easily access the water without damaging the coral, and lifeguards stationed on each jetty. The snorkelling was incredible, and we made sure we went for a swim at least twice every day. We saw Moray Eels, Rays, lion fish, clown fish, parrot fish... the list could go on and on. If you come to this hotel please don't miss out on the snorkelling!!! They even provide life jackets for free at the towel stations if you are not a strong swimmer, which is a nice touch. I could keep going, but rest assured this hotel is clean, and in a beautiful location. the food is top notch and the drinks too. You will not be disappointed if you stay here - and we hope to come stay again with our family.

Incredible resort , Writing this pool side before my transfer sadly picks me up for the airport , Travelled solo as decided with a few weeks notice to use last of my annual leave , I have never travelled abroad from the UK by myself so I was a little apprehensive as a single lady , I needn’t have been and am so glad I decided to visit , As a Housekeeping Manager in the UK for a few amazing clients so my eyes will obviously be drawn to cleanliness , I was so impressed with cleaning throughout the resort , from Ahmed who cleaned my room 1127 daily , such a lovely man who gave pride in his work , along with the rest of the room teams who I saw working hard , to the grounds people who kept the resort so spotless , I am also glad I got to try Silk Road on my last night when they opened , amazing food and I also enjoyed Palms with their amazing views , I did happen to look at the careers page whilst here and saw a position that would have taken my fancy , if it was not for the fact I am nearing the end of career and looking forward to early retirement , what a way to end career though at your amazing resort , A few observations , may I suggest - On booking with Easy Jet Holidays I chose the plan of All Inclusive Premium , at resort there isn’t a plan called this , which was confusing for checking in team and restaurants , I found out this is called Ultra All Inclusive at resort , perhaps this could be changed with Easy Jet Holidays to avoid this confusion for customer and resort , I was also very thankful of water ( and other available drinks ) wherever you may be around resort , but , as a person who always has my own refillable water bottle I would have liked to have seen water stations , whether that be by tap or machine , this would , of course result in far less one use plastic wastage when so much focus is attempting to limit plastic pollution , Would also work well for fizzy pop stations instead of cans , Thank you for a wonderful stay , I can see me booking for next November when I get home to a far less hot UK

This hotel is magic! Great location, not far from the airport. There are many palm trees and flowers on the territory. The weather was great during this period. Excellent nutrition, very tasty food in a la carte restaurants. Active and cheerful animation team. My family is satisfied with the rest in this hotel.
