100% Best Hotel It's Our Special Place

We have just got back from golden bay apartments we spent 14days here it was our second time staying at this lovely and beautiful hotel the staff are amazing and friendly and welcoming and so helpful 😀 we was worried on the fight over that things might of changed since we was there in 2022 but they was no need to worry from the moment we walked into the reception to book in the dream holiday started and continued to the end Joanna was just as wonderful as ever always happy to help and cheerful also the lovely Lazy George who was in the bar in the evening who made us feel welcome it was like we was on holiday with family so we want thank all the team for the best holiday again and we will be returning in sep 2025 with the family for more happy memories and fun and laughter..Best holiday ever love John and lindsay

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff and gorgeous beach views.

The hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable. There are a few restaurants within a few minutes walking distance which sell nice food. The beach is only a few minutes walk away too. There was a lot of choice at breakfast time and this was alternated each day so there was always a different choice. The pool area is also very clean and tidy. The pool bar area does snacks through the day time. The nearest bus stop I saw was around a 20/30 minute walk. We found it much easier hiring a car. The area that the hotel is in is small and there isn't much to do. We only used the fridge in the kitchenette area. There also wasn't an iron in the room which would have come in handy. Overall I would stay at Golden Bay again. We had a really lovely holiday. I can't really fault anything about it.

Lovely relaxing Holiday.

what a beautiful Hotel. A very warm and welcoming greeting from George and Rita at reception. The room was very nice and clean With comfortable beds, a kitchenette and a beautiful sea view. the pool and pool bar area was very nice, again lovely staff Joanna and George greeted us with a handshake and smiles. A great selection of food at breakfast was really nice, and a good variety of taverna's and cafe's along the front strip, along with a small market shop. A perfect place for a quiet relaxing stay, as there isn't any entertainment or shopping stores around, unless you want a good 30/40 minute walk inland. Car hire is possibly the best way to get around, local buses are a good 15 minute walk away. We had a very enjoyable,relaxing holiday here, and were stunned by the beautiful sunsets every night and gorgeous weather.

Fantastic hotel

Thoroughly recommend this hotel. The staff are all lovely and very friendly and helpful. We had a one bedroom apartment which was really comfortable and there was plenty of space. We paid the €8 per day for the air conditioning which was fantastic. With a teenager in the family the excellent wi-if was also very important. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and a few new things each day kept it interesting. The pool was good, looked a little small but never felt overcrowded. The pool bar was nice to have a drink and relax during the day or the evening. The location was perfect for us, slightly out of the way but a very short walk to beaches and restaurants. What a fantastic holiday, thank you!

Amazing stay!!!

We have had a fantastic stay here, staff are absolutely amazing, George behind the bar is just fantastic. Rooms have been lovely and clean and so comfy. There is a €8 charge a day for air con but we haven’t regretted it since being here as the rooms get so hot! Plenty of places to eat along the road and the bus routes are simple to use and just a short walk. So much of a variety to eat and drink round the bar and the breakfast has plenty of choice to choose from! We are already planning on coming back here as we have had such a fantastic time!
