First time away In Crete.

All the staff work extremely hard across all departments at the hotel. The food in the main restaurant for breakfast and evening meal is good. There is a huge variety of choice of food. The staff constantly clear tables remake a table and work extremely hard. We ate out at The Veranda Restaurant three evenings for a change. It was a very pleasant experience with the waiter service to take your order for drinks and food. The Veranda restaurant is partially outdoors overlooking the sea. The standard of waiter service is excellent. The food is freshly cooked and delicious. We enjoyed the Greek evening which is on a Tuesday, If you want to eat at The Veranda restaurant on Greek night it is advisable to pre-book a table. The rooms are spotlessly clean with attention to detail with making the bed and cleaning the room daily. There is a lovely lobby area with nice furniture to sit and relax with free wifi. You need to pay 3 euros a day per phone for wifi to use your phone throughout the hotel. The pool area is nice. There are plenty of sunbeds to sit on which are free. There is a hotel beach with sunbeds which cost 5 euros a day per sunbed. The beautiful mediterranean sea is idylic. There are many shops and restaurants in the area there is a main road behind the hotel. We hired a car for 5 days and enjoyed travelling to the real Crete.

Very poor for price and half board would not recommend!

Was very disappointed! Entertainment you have to pay for. Drinks for Dinner you have to pay for even when you are half board, but breakfast drinks are free which doesn’t make sense. Beach is really small and not enough beds and also another charge for those as well. Yellow stains were also on bed sheets and plug socket was dangerous as it looked smashed into wall. Pool very small and water very cold And!!! Wifi is free in reception but you have to pay €6 a day for wifi in your room.

Few Tips on our experience

The room was so small and dated. No tea/coffee milk, etc, although there is a kettle. Fresh Towels daily and bed made. The air conditioning is terrible hardly blows out any cool air, and on the balcony, the heat from the unit blows out so much hot air and theres water all over the floor it makes it impossible to be able to sit out side. The pool is small and not enough room for everyone. We went to different places during the day. The food was nice we went half board but there are plenty of restaurants to eat out. Bed and breakfast would have been better for us. We ate out a few times. The attached Al A Carte Restaurant highly recommended the food was amazing. Staff all very nice too. The bar in the evening was a great space and fabulous hospitality

Very nice hotel, would recommend.

Very nice hotel, wonderful views. We had two rooms, one very big corner room with sea view and one sea view room with a double bed and extra bed. This was very small for three people, but manageable. Breakfast and dinner had a good choice. There were a lot of 18-20year old boys/girls groups from Holland, but it wasn't an issue for us.

Very good hotel services and location

Delicious buffet, with a veriaty of different local foods with halal and vegetarian alternatieves, with friendly waiters. Its close to the beach and shops. Hotels rooms can be easly cooled in warm periode. In all a very good experience for the family.
