FLORA GARDEN BEACH

Fantastic beach holiday with everything you could ever need for a relaxing couples holiday. We went for 9 nights at the end of the season so there was only about 80 guests by the time we left which suited us fine. Everything was immaculate. All inclusive drinks were perfectly drinkable and did the job. Lots of spots to chill and there was always a seat or lounger. The main restaurant had a huge selection of food and everything was hot and delicious. There was a lack of labelling which was exciting for us, but I’d be concerned if you had any allergies or intolerances. Puddings were exceptional! The snack bars were great. Really delicious food especially the one by the boho bar. Unfortunately it closed during our stay as things were closing down due to lack of guests. We loved the Boho bar so much! Sun Loungers all around and very comfy seating. Perfect for the sunset! We paid €30 each extra to eat in the steak restaurant and it was well worth it. Was a really nice, finer dining experience. The onsite shop has a decent range of replica bags and goods. There are lovely stray cats all around and we really enjoyed patting them. All in pretty decent condition. Although it would be great if the hotel would take responsibility and neuter them as there were lots of young ones and one young pregnant one. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really liked the table ordering system which is via an app as it overcame any language barrier. The beaches were great to spend time on with plenty of beds and bars nearby. Going into the sea wasn’t that great as there are only small safe areas to swim due to shale and surface issues. We don’t care though as there was a lovely gentle breeze to cool us off and we aren’t big sea swimmers anyway. The pool was clean but ABSOLUTELY FREEZING! However we did go at the end of the season! Entertainment was incredible on two nights but pretty rubbish on the rest and if I never hear ‘Smooth Operator’ again it will be too soon. We were in room 941 which was an eco bungalow. Is was very clean but needed a wee bit of TLC towards the end of the season. Very little soundproofing between rooms and the loo and shower are behind glass so ensure you are very comfortable with your partner or have headphones! I wouldn’t like to be in the rooms right by the road as it was quite noisy. Our room had a view to the sea and we got sunlight between the two buildings in front which others didn’t get. We would probably take the same room again. Swim up rooms were far away. Garden and pool rooms too public. Also too cold for a swim up room at that time of year. Transfer from airport is about two hours by coach. All in all we absolutely loved our stay here. We took it for what it was and tbh were a bit sick of some of the moaners that were there. If you want UK 5 star standard, then pay more money and go elsewhere! For us: food was excellent, WiFi was strong and everywhere, all facilities were exceptionally clean, drinks were drinkable and it was the beautiful and peaceful holiday we needed. We wouldn’t usually visit the same place twice but would definitely return.

Staff brilliant. Food ok ish. Hotel nice. Negatives. People and staff smoking outside entrance to hotel - not good. Some buildings definitely need to be renovated. Lots of cats running around site. Only two electric outlets in room, nowhere near enough!

Me, my boyfriend and his parents visited here on holiday. I returned home engaged and very happy with the holiday we had. To start, we arrived and the rooms were automatically upgraded to sea view rooms which was incredible. Unfortunately my partner and myself were not able to access this room due to a staircase and mobility issues but we were very happy with the room we had which was a bigger bungalow. That does lead me on to say that if you are a person with mobility issues or in a wheelchair, please be aware that a lot of rooms are accessible via stairs. While there is ramps and accessible routes available, this is not extended to the pool as it is ladders down and you would be limited to only 2 seating tables for your meals. Additionally the steakhouse restaurant would not be accessible if stairs are a problem for you. That is not to say we did not enjoy this holiday because we loved it!! We loved the staff they were so friendly and accommodating. Our shower, toilet and bed were all great standard and every day we were met with refilled amenities to a point of where they were spilling out the fridge! Incredible holiday and we got engaged in the beautiful zen garden, the pictures do not do it justice! Some tips from me: - This is a tipping culture place which never felt undeserving. All staff were fantastic but do keep in mind that cash will be helpful. - Don’t be scared of the price of the steakhouse a la carte as it was one of the best meals I’ve had, the soup was fantastic and incredible - go on the trips! We had an amazing time going on a private boat tour on the sea to see turtles/dolphins and we saw loads of beautiful nature too. (We also got this at a great price with bartering as they were closing soon) - try the drinks in reception each day, some are delicious - Make the holiday your own. On the last week open, there was barely any entertainment but with games we brought, a pool float we found and a very used dartboard, we made incredible memories. - our bungalow did come with lots of gnats so bring insect repellent if you’re visiting later in the seasons -if you don’t like cats, I wouldn’t recommend as there is lots but they are also so friendly and so cute, one of my favourite parts of the holiday so be kind to those cuties Overall we had an amazing time, from staff going above and beyond to accommodate and support us, making drinks off menu and keeping everything clean to playing games with us in the lobby on our last day. We even got treated to multiple gifts to celebrate our engagement (lots of rosè) which was lovely! I really recommend this place and if you decide to go, have a white rum and pineapple for me 😁

Had a fantastic week . Hotel was clean, staff friendly, food was great. It was the last week before hotel closed for winter. We had a free room upgrade to a pool and sea view, This was stunning views. Only down side was just one place open for evening entertainment, piano bar, loved the boho bar great cocktails there. Coffee shop was lovely, zen gardens where stunning.Would go back when there is more entertainment on . Xx

Very accommodating staff and very friendly! Side is only a 20 minute drive and it’s beautiful! Definitely worth a visit and definitely recommend the hotel! Beautiful views and beaches! Weather has been lovely all week! Plenty of relaxation and things to see!
