NEVER USE ONTHEBEACH TO BOOM YOUR HOLIDAY!!
DO NOT BOOK WITH ONTHEBEACH EVER!! First time we ever booked with them and will never do so again. Here is the email I sent to them after my holiday at this hotel and they did nothing!!! Incredible and just goes to show how poor they are. I am writing to you to make an official complaint regarding our recent holiday that we arrived back from yesterday morning. This was our first experience of On the Beach as a tour operator as we are regular TUI customers but thought that we would try out the competition. Whilst we have no complaints about your service or that of the airline (although delayed by one and a half hours on return flight) we have encountered really poor service from the hotel. We selected the hotel based solely on what e read and saw on your website and we paid a premium for a weeks holiday in October both due to it being close to half term but also because the hotel was described and sold as such. This turned out to be false and we would definitely argue that the hotel was mis sold and poorly described but our biggest complaint was that it appeared to be on shut down for the end of the season. Given the staff have had a long season probably from early April I can sort of understand that by the end of October their enthusiasm may start to wane but this would only be acceptable if the price for the holiday reflected this situation and we knew what to expect. It didn’t and therefore we expected and paid for a full service holiday with everything operational and the full quota of choice and service. Some of the issues were as follows: 1. Exactly the same selection of items for breakfast and lunch every day and these were limited. 2. Only fruit juice available at breakfast was sour cherry and on 3 days no juice at all. 3. Toaster stopped working for last two days 4. No chocolate sauce or cheese toasties on final two days for breakfast 5. No specific kids food at evening meals so my son had chips and bread for 7 days straight! 6. Grilled Chicken and whole fish the main two choices for dinner all 7 nights. 7. No diet drinks available in restaurant bar area and on final night no fizzy drinks at all. 8. Outdoor cooking area used for breakfast and dinner throughout the season closed for last 3 days. 9. No jacket potatoes for lunch on last 2 days 10. Bar closed by beach snack area for last two days. 11. On our first night we arrived a bit later for dinner At around 8pm. All the food area lights were switched off at 9pm even though people were still in the restaurant area eating. No desserts left that evening either as obviously didn’t replenish them for later arrivals. 12. Had to use a plastic spoon on final morning as no metal ones available. 13. The hotel was overrun by cats, which I am allergic to, with them in all communal areas, in the restaurant, by the outdoor seating, near the room blocks, etc 14. Virtually no English speaking staff which was ridiculous as every time I raised a concern or needed assistance with something it was a waste of time. Chose to use google translate a few times but that isn’t reasonable protocol for a 4 star £3500+ one weeks holiday. 15. On two occasions the gym had kids on the equipment which I raised both times immediately as it is very dangerous. On one occasion the child was completely unattended and I only saw him through the window whilst me and my son were playing table tennis outside. The spa staff were always sat outside smoking or drinking coffee. 16. The gym was cleaned by two ladies every morning that purely poured a bottle of water on the floor and mopped. No cleaning of equipment or chemicals used. 17. Beach towels in the spa run out at 11am first morning which was crazy given the hotel was probably no more than half full. 18. The belt on the single running machine was unsafe and needs tightening so couldn’t use that piece of equipment. We also had some issues with our room that was really quite dated. 1. The curtains just came off the ends so I had to climb up on multiple occasions to put the runners back in so that they could close. 2. Multiple light switches in the rooms that did absolutely nothing including the ones by the door in both bedrooms and the ones by the bed in the main bedroom 3. Coving around the bunk bed bedroom was all cracked and crumbling away from how old it was 4. We had a single sheet as our bed covers on the double bed for the first night as we were late arriving and went to grab some dinner as soon as we arrived and hadn’t noticed. We did visit reception the next day to organise some blankets which was welcomed but what a stupid and unacceptable situation to face on our first night. 5. Sofa cushion had a hole in it. Overall the attitude was a “couldn’t care a less“ mentality and not interested in trying to provide a solution or decent experience for guests. As I say things were stopped from being used, food run out and it was almost a case of using up what was left in the freezer and once it was gone it was gone. We even said goodbye on our final day to one of the entertainment team as we tried to play the one activity my son was allowed to partake in every day and when we asked him if he had a contract to go back next year he was very quick to say “Definitely not here and I am keen to get home to eat food that isn’t chicken. Every night chicken. I do not even like chicken!!” The reality of the situation is this is not a 4 star hotel. You advertised it as such and made no suggestions that the hotel was on shut down for the end of the season and you charged me a premium price for staying somewhere that was falsely advertised. There was no mention of cats, no mention of not being a hotel suitable for English as very little English spoken and no mention that the hotel was going to be closing down half the facilities and providing a limited food service. Looking at the same holiday on October 17th 2025 on your website it would be £596 PP and during Easter next year it would be only £630 PP so you have clearly charged a premium amount for a substandard service on our particular holiday.

    Hotel from absolute hell!
Where to start with our “experience” of this hotel. For the first time in my life I was counting the minutes to get home! Warning of cats would have been nice as I suffer from allergies to cats. Let’s start with the Rotten food & cats roaming the restaurant. Tables set the night before with cutlery that we watch cats openly PEE ON! Cats eating the food out of the all inclusive restaurant bowls and the stench of raw cat piss when you entered the restaurant. Followed by food that left myself and my partner spending every night at the kebab hut across the road (safe to say this stopped us starving). Not alternative option other than pizza as all other restaurants and food huts were closed (pretty sure the cats had free roam here too). After sitting there for 20 mins and myself and my partner being bitten by fleas we didn’t return again. We watched a couple be surrounded by staff abusing them when they questioned both the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant and food huts. “Ultra all-inclusive” - couldn’t have been further from the reality there were 4 options for spirits and 1 beer available and 1 so called restaurant. When we asked for different we were just screamed at or served a totally different drink. Staff had no clue how to make a basic cocktail and all drinks were sat out in the sun day after day. Staff openly tried to grab women while we were there trying to give “massages” when told to stop they became aggressive or ignored and continued to harass us. The lack of entertainment at the hotel (music turned off by 5pm) it’s a good job we met some amazing people who definitely made the holiday tolerable. The rooms were basic but good for we needed, but after 2 days of no hot water and 3 days of yellow water we were more than ready for our flight home by the end of it. I think under new ownership with a change of staffing this would be an amazing resort. But as it stands we would never return and are extremely upset, needing another break to reset from this one.

    Beautiful family-friendly resort
My husband and I stayed at Euphoria Palm Beach with our 5 year-old son for a week, from the end of October to the beginning of November. We stayed in a Junior Suite which had two bedrooms (one single, one double, both with balcony access), a living room and bathroom. Weather was sunny with the temperature being 24°C - 28°C from 9am to 7pm, dropping cooler in the evening and night. We don't drink alcohol, and prefer to eat vegetarian, though this is not a firm requirement for us. NEGATIVES: - Pools far too cold to swim in, though I imagine this would not be the case if we had visited earlier in the year. A shame because the slides looked really fun and the pools were one of the main reasons we chose to come here. Our fault for not checking if any were heated I guess. - Food at the main self-serve restaurant isn't well-labelled and we had to guess which food was vegetarian by looking at it - would not be great for someone with food allergies or firm dietary requirements. Food was similar each day, particularly the desserts which got a little boring. - No tea/coffee facilities in our apartment - Our feet were filthy after walking around the bedrooms after a shower so floors must have been dirtier than they looked - Outside of the resort places take a mix of Lira and Euro which was confusing and two places tried to over-charge us, presuming we didn't know the conversion rate. Not the resort's fault, but something they should really advise guests of. - Room decor could definitely do with an and there were no plug sockets in the single bedroom POSITIVES: - Large, well-maintained, beautiful resort with loads of plants and trees, and wild cats (definitely a plus for my 5 year old!) I noticed many people with buggies or wheelchairs and the site seemed very accessible. - Lots of trips and excursions pick-up and drop-off from this resort. We did a tour of Manavgat markets with a riverboat cruise, and a morning at Side's ruins and old town (both of which I'd recommend) - Snack bars dotted around served burgers, ice cream, waffles, pizza etc. which meant we had loads of choice whenever we fancied something and I'm pretty sure I've gained a kg or two (as I fully expect to on holiday) - There's a kids club that does a range of activities. My son only tried it once and was happy to get his face painted and play with other kids while his dad and I read our books on sun-loungers nearby - The spa has a range of treatments available for additional charge, and a hammam, an indoor pool (also unheated), and sauna which is open access. You can also get your towels here on your way to the beach so no need to bring your own - Great WiFi coverage across the whole resort, even down on the beach. This was so useful, particularly in the evening as our son went to bed at 8pm, and we could stream or scroll in the apartment if we wanted. - Staff were generally friendly and accommodating, and had an impressive level of English, German and Russian in addition to Turkish. OVERALL IMPRESSION: This is definitely not a 5-star resort, but we didn't pay 5-star prices so it was what we were expecting. We really enjoyed our holiday and would definitely consider coming back in future, but we may try earlier in the year when the pools might be more enjoyable, and I might bring my own kettle and coffee for the room!

Not 5* but not all that bad
Ok, firstly before I start this hotel is defo not a 5 star so if you come expecting that then you are going to be disappointed. I had read reviews prior to coming here so my expectations and standards were already low. Some staff are rude however we have also encountered some wonderful staff who are friendly and super helpful. On arrival we were greeted ( early hours of the morning ) and check in was seamless and we were taken to our room and given a tour of the hotel on the way. The hotel itself, grounds wise, pools, facilities, beach etc are fantastic. The pools are freezing but can be quite refreshing when it’s so warm!!! The rooms are ok. Certainly could use some refurbs but they are kept clean. The food, as anywhere all inclusive can get samey but we found there was always something we could eat and we have all felt fine from it. All in all we have had a wonderful week here and I would come back. I wouldn’t let all these horrific reviews put you off just don’t come expecting 5 star luxury.
