ELIROS MARE

Amazing hotel but even better staff. I have no words to describe how friendly and helpful all the staff is. Especially, thanks to Anca from reception my group was extremely well taken care of. She speaks English, Spanish, Romanian and Greek (might speak others too :)). I never got a no to any of my difficult requests. Good food and facilities. very nice rooms.

Honestly spectacular. Very attentive staff, varied and top quality food, with an ideal environment for rest. Definitely highly recommended for a good family holiday. Special mention to Anka who, with her professionalism and kindness, has treated us in an excellent manner along with the rest of her colleagues.

Great holiday in a beautiful hotel. Everyone from reception team , bar and waiting team and maids were all friendly and professional. Georgios at the main bar was a lovely gentleman and worked hard to ensure guests were served as quickly as possible.The waiter was also great and friendly. The bar person at the pool bar made very good cocktails for us and she certainly worked hard in the heat. The entertainment team kept kids entertained and also chatting to guests to keep them updated on activities etc. A great team. The food in the restaurants were varied and we always enjoyed our selection. The pool area is small but we always managed to get a sunbed. I would have preferred the pool restricted the use of inflatables etc as it did restrict swimming in the pool. However,overall a lovely holiday and we had a great time .

We had the best stay at the Eliros Mare. All of the staff were so nice and accommodating. Even though almost all the other guests were German or European, we never felt left out or that our needs couldn’t be met. The rooms are so eco-friendly that the electricity shuts off if you’re not there and/or not moving (great, but not helpful for some medical conditions), but the staff helped us find a workaround. We could hear some footsteps from the rooms above us, but overall a quiet and relaxing resort. Everything was SUPER clean, too. When it comes to food, everything is buffet style- including the dinner at the beach bar you have to book ahead, so just know that for eating if you’re in the all-inclusive. Lots of variety in the food, there will be something for everyone. Nothing beats their beach - surrounded by mountains, super clear water, and the amenities made it so easy to spend almost all our time enjoying it. They really do make sure no one reserves the beach and/or pool chairs, which is so nice. We also had a fantastic day trip to Elafonissi which was easy to arrange through the hotel— totally worth it. The staff also helped us with our airport private transfer to the hotel, and helped us get the bus to our next destination. Thanks for making our first visit to Crete unforgettable!

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Eliros Mare hotel with my husband and 2 children. This really is an exceptional hotel with a real modern feel set amongst pretty grounds with direct access to the beautiful beach. The staff here are amazing and can’t do enough to help, they are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you feel really welcome. We originally booked 2 separate rooms but the lovely reception manager upgraded us firstly to a family sea view room then to a luxury junior suite with swim up pool for our last night, she really went out of her way to ensure we had the best experience. Special shout out to Georgios behind the main bar, this chap is a credit to the hotel, he spent time chatting to us, especially our son who was the same age and really goes out of his way, his customer service skills are excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and felt there was a wide variety available and no repetition during our stay. The hotel is a short taxi ride away from Georgeopolis the neighbouring town which is really lovely, there is also a long strip of shops and tavernas across the road from the hotel. We’d highly recommend a stay at Eliros and we will certainly be returning.
