    Exceeded expectations Fabulous stay
Possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Absolutely loved everything about it! When I booked it the images were mostly artists impressions once there it exceeded expectations. Couldn’t fault anything! Staff were all lovely and helpful. The rooms are stunning. Food excellent We ate at Mexican, Greek & Thai restaurants - all very good. Would return in a heart beat! If you’re in doubt just book it! There’s so many plus points too many to cover in this box!

Elios Hill Greece – A Beautiful Hotel with Room for Improvement
We recently stayed at Elios Hill, a newly refurbished 5-star hotel, and while the design and interior certainly live up to the 5-star rating, the food and service are more in line with a 4-star experience. Starting with the buffet restaurant, it would feel more luxurious if there was table service for drinks, both at breakfast and dinner. As it stands, it feels a bit chaotic, and for a hotel of this standard, guests shouldn’t have to walk around to get a drink. Breakfast was decent with a good variety, but the addition of fresh orange juice, freshly baked pastries, and better-tasting coffee would elevate it to a true 5-star experience. The basic wine offered in the hotel was undrinkable. The self-service wine was especially bad, though the wine in the à la carte restaurants was slightly better. Cocktails ranged from 4/5 depending on who made them, which was inconsistent for a luxury hotel. We were disappointed to find that we could only dine at the à la carte restaurants once per stay, which seemed odd for a 5-star hotel. We were told the restaurants were fully booked, yet they always appeared to have space whenever we passed by. The service at these restaurants was also lacking—slow and inattentive. We often had to ask for an explanation of the menu, drinks were difficult to order, plates weren't cleared promptly, and wine glasses were dirty. At one point, they even ran out of food mid-meal. Mains were served while starters were still on the table, which made for a disorganized dining experience. One suggestion for the Asian restaurant: adding a door to separate it from the main bar would be great, as the loud music from the bar ("boom boom" sound) was disruptive to our meal. Our dinner there ended up lasting three hours due to the slow service, although the food itself was excellent—definitely 5-star quality. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but it felt strange to have to press a button to request daily cleaning. This should be a standard service in a 5-star hotel. *Addendum Nov 24- hotel has appeared in daily mail and media as secret cam footage has found cleaners going through guests belonging and drinking from their bottles of water The biggest letdown was the situation with sunbeds at the adult pool. Having to wake up at 7:30 a.m. to reserve a sunbed is not what you would expect at a luxury hotel. A better system is needed. Additionally, the poolside snack options could be improved, with fresh fruit bowls, frozen cocktails, and fresh juices, to enhance the overall experience. Overall, we would rate our stay 4/5. The hotel is beautifully designed, but the service and some dining aspects need significant improvement to match its 5-star potential. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Genuinely an honest experienced review - recommend
From start to finish being a seasoned traveller I would certainly recommend Arrived late offered FOC upgrade Presented Food and drink being such a lovely warm welcome and informative reception Cases taken care of and escorted by golf buggy to our perfectly positioned and freshly cleaned upgraded room #928 Again tentatively Welcomed with a bottle of champagne and sweet desserts Bottled water with cold fridge Comfort Slippers, dressing robes and genuinely a nice modern looking and feel within our comfortable quaint room perfect for couples Added bonus of easy access to the spa overlooking from the balcony With The most scenic land scape views above the adults pool, spectacular sea horizons, high hill resort tops, mountains and city lights in the distance. All the staff from management to bartender to entertainment teams to chiefs to cleaners are the dedicated driving force who make this sun-kissed happiness resort such a special tranquil space and place, a clear cut gem carved within the hills both cosmetically and professionally. Credit to the owners always seeking to improve and mature Elios even further from recently opening Personal experience Elios accommodated and catered for our every need and exceeded with added special touches for our wedding anniversary wife’s birthday and late check out and always went above and beyond via correspondence face to face communication and app reservations Will certainly look forward to rebooking and returning again next year 2025 this occasion within full season to make more magical memories.

Could be great! - but very poor quality food and drink offering
Just returned from a week stay over Oct half term. Overall, Elios Hill sets reasonably high expectations prior to visiting but fails to deliver to anywhere near the billed 5 star standard. We have been lucky enough to get away a few times this year, once to the 3HB Giurana on the Algarve and also to the Aphrodite Hills hotel in Cyprus so they are our most recent benchmark for Elios Hill. We flew with Jet2 and we were one of the last drop offs which took well over an hour for what should be 15/20 min drive direct so if we were to ever to visit again, would get a private transfer. Our bus also dropped us off at the bottom of the road to Elios Hill so we had to drag our luggage up to reception which wasn’t a great start. We were then asked log onto their WiFi, then download an app to check into the hotel which took about 20 mins and is the last thing we wanted to do having had a long travel day and grumpy children. Overall the resort is very nice, new and clean. The pools are great and it’s one of the first hotels where we have been to where and have not had to get up early to get a sunbed - it was really chilled and could get sun beds all day long. We spent most of the days up at the splash park pool which was fun and our children (3, 12, 14). One slightly annoying design feature though is there are no toilets at any of the pools and you have to walk down the hill to the small toilet block opposite the main restaurant. Good exercise but not very convenient. Our room was great, new and nice design with a great shower, large balcony overlooking the main pool and good air con. However, we found the level of daily cleaning to be very basic - basically a rough bed make and that’s it. There are coffee making facilities in the room which was great, but we had to constantly ask for coffee and milk to be replenished, but of the time it wasn’t, despite asking. Now, the main issue with the hotel is the poor standard of food and drinks both in terms of variety, quality and preparation - it’s hard to understand how this can be presented as 5 star standard as it is really bad and totally let’s the hotel down and is probably the worst hotel we have been to in this specific regard. There didn’t appear to be any theme to each nights dining, just a random limited choice of foods which were either pre-made and warmed up or poor quality ingredients prepared in a very basic way. This is such as shame as the restaurants are nice places, with show cooking plates etc but just aren’t used. Inside the restaurants are non-smoking, however this was not always observed by some guests who thought it was perfectly reasonable to start smoking inside the restaurant and around children. The restaurant staff did nothing to address this. We found it disgusting and disrespectful towards other guests and had to move on two occasions on an evening. Breakfast was probably the best meal of the day as you can request an omelette to be freshly prepared to your liking and fresh bread. However, basic things like fresh orange juice were never available, only orange cordial and water from the kids buffet area! Coffee was also dispensed out of ‘instant coffee’ style machines. There was one machine which was a bean to cup type but always a long queue for that for obvious reasons. The wine was all out of a beer tap style dispenser and was very poor quality. Cocktails were all made from pre-mixed, unbranded bottles which were also very poor quality. Our 4 year old looked forward to the mini-disco but this was a little too late for us (8.30pm start) and on the couple of times we went, it catered mainly to the predominantly French and German guests in terms of the languages used in the songs and animation team. The food and drink issues really let the hotel down, if these things are addressed the hotel has the potential to be really good but we would not return or recommend the hotel to others on the current basis. Despite the hotel infrastructure being excellent and of 5 star quality, the food, drink and general levels of service drag our assessment of the hotel down to 2 / 3 star.

Loved it, would recommend - Totally fair and honest review.
I've not long got back from a 5 night stay with my partner at Elios Hill. Reading some of the negative reviews I think people are giving this place a bit of a hard time. I will agree, this definitely feels more of a 4* stay, however for the price we paid and the experience we had - I absolutely cannot complain. So checking in was a bit of a shambles. However keep reading - the hotel redeemed themselves. We arrived at roughly 2pm, in which we were greeted by the most friendliest reception staff (shoutout to Alias) who advised us to make the last 10 minutes of lunch before heading to our room. Yes, you do have to check in via an app - which honestly is a tad annoying but whatever, not a biggie. We were then escorted to our room, opened the door and it wasn't ready. Not great, but accidents happen. We headed back to reception and 15 minutes later we were told the room is now ready, so we were driven back to the same room. Opened the door - still wasn't ready. This was very, very annoying. The staff were very apologetic and did put us in an alternative room, which in my opinion was better located next to the adults pool and had the most beautiful view as it was at the top of the hill. However I will mention the hills in this hotel are incredibly steep - fine for me as a 25 year old but not sure how this would be for elderly visitors. Completely worth it for us as our room was tucked away and felt more peaceful. (We later discovered that this room was in front of the staff quarters, who like to drink wine and chat from midnight til 6am some nights...) Due to the mix-up at check-in I received a message from Jasmijn, the head of guest relations. Inviting me to speak with her - she was great and very attentive, and offered us 3 nights at each restaurant instead of the 1 included in our package - TOTALLY worth it. The Greek restaurant is beautiful, a really nice break from the buffet food and enjoyed every bite. The asian restaurant was nice too, the experience didn't quite match the greek as the night before but if you're not satisfied the buffet runs late (which is great after a few drinks) and you can always visit afterwards. Another highlight for me is the cocktails in the upstairs bar. Huge shoutout to the powerhouse bar-lady (sorry I forgot her name) who made the best drinks and was so much fun with us the whole trip. The cocktail quality up there was divine - particularly the White Sangria, I had so many. Probably my favourite cocktails in any hotel I have ever stayed in. The Adults only pool, beautiful space, and no children around despite what other reviews have mentioned - however the water is insanely cold, so I didn't spend as much time in the pool as I'd like. My favourite time to be by the pool was between 8-11am, it's so peaceful. Repetitive tacky pop music is played from 11 which honestly it could do without but not a deal breaker. Toilets and bar are at the pool which is super convenient. The food at the snack bar I have to mention was not great. I tried to stomach a burger but felt like a waste of stomach space - particularly when the food at the restaurant is SO good, particularly at lunchtime. I can honestly say that I enjoyed every single meal I had at the restaurant. My favourite dish being the gyros with greek salad and tzatziki - beautiful. The restaurant space is great, super spacious and a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating. If I had to pick a fault would be the loud noises of children, but also cannot complain about this as I knew there was a chance of this at a family hotel with exceptional children facilities. Overall this hotel is beautiful. It has it's flaws which takes away some feeling of 'premium' however the value for money here is top notch. It had everything I needed and more from a hotel. The rooms, service, drinks and food are exceptional which are the main boxes ticked for me when going away. Would I visit again? Probably. It doesn't seem that many hotels in the area can compete particularly at such a good price point.
