EFTALIA VILLAGE

I hated it . It's not all inclusive as advertised cocktails have to be paid for along with fresh orange juice. Al a carte has to be paid for also when we was there in May charging £20 each they june/July jumped to £40 each. I just felt you where getting ripped off everywhere. Shop keepers quite aggressive if your not buying anything and just browsing. Went to Antalya for the day and got charged £21 for a latte and a coke. I'd NEVER GO AGAIN

I have salmonella from the resort. Confirmed by testing once back in the uk. There is an outbreak of cryptosporidium on the resort, wasnt informed before travel. The pool areas never got cleaned to our knowledge. Bins and rubbish where still on the floor the next day. All inclusive was questionable .. only wine and beer and pop and juice, but stacks of water bottles in village apartments. No cocktails and only spirts vodka and whiskey very watered down from the pool bar or jet 2 bar at 8pm.  On the island there's different places for food but in my opinion it wasn't that nice and unhygienic.  The chicken and pizza stalls where nice but nothing to rave about. But after 4pm it's Al a carte. And no info is given on arrival about much really. Rooms basic but cleaned daily. No kettle which I found odd. Waiters only got you a table saved and get your drinks if you tip, we tipped abit but due to going all inclusive we didnt have much money to pay for a service we had already paid, we didn't have alot of spare and money definitely does talk as people had petals on tables held for them at the manic meal times. We often had to walk in and out as it was too full. Food wasn't that great, my son lived on bread and it was repeative. Very different to other all inclusive places we've been. The island was disgusting and dirty. I wouldn't return again although the kids had fun, it was a long transfer, and more cost than we planned but still a nice hot holiday for October. It just didn't really show off turkey all that well I thought especially now as I'm 4 weeks down the line still suffering with the effects of salmonella.

Immaculate place, room was cleaned to a high standard everyday. Food very average, very repetitive, prepare for a long queue to get your dinner, food wasn’t overly warm. You have to pay for spirits after 11pm, you have to pay extra if you want a cocktail. Staff weren’t overly friendly, hassled you quite a bit asking if you wanted to try the restaurants you have to pay for. People reserve their sun beds the night before or very early in the morning. Great for kids with the water park etc but other than that it wasn’t much to write home about. Wouldn’t stay here again.

We arrived home Tuesday after a lovely week here. I’m going to mention the only bad bit first, when we arrived at the hotel after travelling all day, when the guy at reception started his speech about how the Marin hotel (next door) was much nicer than here, even showed us pictures comparing, he obviously wanted us to pay to upgrade, I politely declined and said we were more than happy with the village, he then got quite stroppy, gave us our room key and didn’t bother to explain where our room was, didn’t even give us our wristbands, which we went back the next morning and sorted them ourselves! But like I said, that was the only bad part We couldn’t fault the hotel at all, rooms were lovely, cleaned daily and the maids were very friendly The restaurant was nice, we enjoyed breakfast, was lots to choose from, same with the evening meals, the staff were really friendly, especially Ahmet who made a fuss of our boy and he enjoyed seeing him every day The facilities were great, we only used the pools and slides here on one of the day as we spent our days at the Island which was fantastic, the slides were amazing, our 6 yr old had the best time, so did we. The lunch here was delicious, so much choice, enjoyed it very much. All in all we had a great week here, and would most definitely come back. Also to mention we read the bad reviews and were slightly worried but no need to be, we eat and drank, went in all the pools, in fact our son was in the water more than he was out of it, no sickness!!

This is the 3rd time, in two years, my daughter and I have visited this hotel, we love it. What really makes it for us is the friendly staff. Especially the animation team, in particular, GG, Speedy and Potter, they make you feel so welcome. Encouraging you to join in the games (darts, water gym, air gun). The hotel is so clean, there is staff constantly cleaning. There is a wide variety of food, if you can’t find something to eat, then you must have a very limited diet. The rooms are a good size and are cleaned every day. A fantastic holiday AGAIN!
