Simple but charming.

The hotel is very basic, but it has charm. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. If they don't speak English, they will immediately whip out their mobile and open the translate app. The beach is within a stone's throw of the hotel. If you don't have very high expectations and don't mind communicating with the reception staff if you want something, this is quite a decent place.

Awful, just awful.

This hotel is the dirtiest most run down hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It advertised its sister hotels rooms as its own. The toilet/ shower rooms are crawling with filth and decay. House keeping us non existent and complaints are met with indifference. This was a horrible experience. Pool side also dirty and the poolside toilets can only be described as urine sodden. Please don’t choose this hotel if you select Turgutreis.

Shocking

The pillow and bedsheets had Staines. There were finger nails on the floor. One of the waiters asked me where I was from I responded London. The waiter made a gesture of someone being hung by the neck and said “the queen is dead” and laughed. Which I found very offensive. The same waiter did not apologise. Very shocking.

Shocking

Booked a sea view room with balcony we got neither!! Tried to explain at reception but could not get anyone to understand. The room was like a shoe box with no room to move around and nowhere to put belongings. No entertainment and the bar was in the restaurant if you were lucky enough to get someone to understand what you were ordering, food was also basic although the burgers at snack time were ok. Hotel was in a lovely part of town right beside the sea, shame about the amenities.

Make sure you don’t book this hotel thinking it’s Dragut South Hotel

Complaint after complaint I’m afraid, from running out of food, knives and forks, agitprop con and lift not working, rooms are the size of a postage stamp, rude staff has to be the worst place my wife and i have experienced, booked it as i saw it on the website and my fault went on reviews and it came up as Dragut South which is 100m away however you don’t have access to that , and it has no gym which it advertises. Only good thing it has its own beach which was nice
