CORFU MARIS HOTEL

I recently stayed at the Corfu Maris and overall, my experience was quite pleasant. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions. The rooms were clean and spacious, with modern decor and all the necessary amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a minibar, and a comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, and their recommendations for local restaurants were spot-on.

If you love swimming in the sea and looking at the sea as we do, this hotel is perfect. All rooms look out onto sea and have glass balcony. The sea is calm and you can swim in it at night too. Staff are friendly. Location great in lovely town with easy access to buses and lovely restaurants. However... The location is is the only reason the hotel can charge so much. It is very basic .. it is operated very frugally with very few staff. The food is extremely basic.. everything is self service .... buffet breakfast with the same limited choice each day. There are sunbeds on the beach but many are broken. There is no service to beach for drinks... which of course is not a big deal but it is common in most places so seems strange not to add it as a feature. There is no air con in common areas which makes it very uncomfortable to relax in public areas. The rooms are very basic. .. broken furniture and equipment. Family rooms booked for 4 are squished bedroom with 2 single beds and a bunkbed .. ... no where to hang items or surfaces to place items. There are no matress protectors on the beds so the matress is visible through the sheet. Balcony has a great view but no where to dry clothes and only 2 chairs and small table for 4 people. Bathroom dated and sink and shower very small and drain on floor spewed water when shower in use. Many of the facilities listed in advert are not in existence... no pool... no sauna...no shuttle service...... There is an absence of information for tourists.. it would be lovely to have an information area in the hotel available with maps etc as staff have little knowledge or time to help due to minimal staffing. Cockroaches visible on ground floor. Overall the location by sea was ideal for us but the price we paid was too high. Would recommend if on lower side of price scale.

This hotel is an absolute gem for me! It has a great location, not so far from the village center, but far enough for it to be calm and silent. All the rooms have a splendid view, you can watch the sunrise from your balcony! The rooms are well equipped and very clean. The staff is very lively, friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the dinner is delicious, the most delicious I ever ate at a hotel.

Nice beach, very hospitable staff. We liked the trip. There was one amazing receptionist, she helped us a lot with our trip, recommended everything and helped to organize a tour to another part of the island. All in all, we can recommend that hotel!

The Food was very good and the room was always clean. The stuff was very friendly. The wifi in the room wasnt good and the Hotel wasnt airconditioned in the floors. But all in one it was very very nice. The Strand was very near and clean that was good.
