Our favourite place for chilling out
Third visit in October, we are an active older couple. We return because the scenery is stunning, the place is magical and we can completely chill out. This visit I had a foot injury making walking painful, so was worried since we love walking but Letoonia means you can enjoy the beautiful environment regardless and the 'Ninky Nonky' is a great way to get about (first time we used it but not the last). I was so pleased they gave us a lovely, cental room which made a big difference. I loved the free kayaks and swam in each of the three bays, amazing place for swimming. This year the entertainment was improved, we loved the bands in the Village Square, the atmosphere was vibrant, however this is only occasionally and we would like more of the same. When the show is on there is no music and it becomes dull, the shows are great, and there were some new ones this year, but there are lots of people who don't want to watch the shows so we need something during that time. We still don't like silent Mondays. The food is good, I love the different range of restaurants, this year we particularly enjoyed lunch at the Dolphin Bay, great service from Aziz. We ate at the Cactus one evening and the service us disappointing, very slow despite being very quiet. As always the staff are brilliant, lots of people remembered us from previous years. Despite being near the end of the season and many were obviously exhausted, everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a stunning holiday and already booked for next year. Thanks to all the amazing Letoonia staff.

    Great Value Family Resort!
Just stayed and overall really pleased. See below for the best and worst things about the resort imo. Things that are great: Setting- this is just incredible, and imo is the best thing about the hotel. The resort is on a hillside which is covered in trees, and this gives the whole resort a really nice vibe plus also amazing views right across the sea to Fethiye which is also quite mountainous, again adding to the sumptuous views. Just an incredible backdrop. Watersports/Activities- loads of free watersports such as paddle boarding/canoes/pedillos which I thought was great. Also good kids club and loads of activities that are scheduled throughout the day, plus evening show most nights. Overall Value- I think for what you pay to come here you’re getting really good value. Hotel is nice and clean, perhaps getting a little old now but no big deal. Food generally fine, fairly standard all inclusive kinda quality but certainly more than acceptable. Of course it’s not quite the 5 star luxury you may get in Dubai or the Maldives, but then you’re not paying anything like the sort of price as those type of destinations so I don’t think you can fairly compare. Things that could be better: Not enough loungers in the sun- I’m really surprised that this hasn’t been mentioned in other reviews (or not that I’ve seen). The problem is that the resort is North/North-Easterly facing (which you wouldn’t guess as Letoonia sneakily shows the resort map and all aerial photos as if it’s South facing!), and so combine that with the hilly, tree-lined landscape and it leaves you with far too many shaded areas. It’s genuinely tricky to get a lounger that gets the sun all day. So if you’re a sun worshipper you need to get up early to secure the few optimal loungers on the jetty or very close to the lagoon water. Food repetitiveness- being a bit picky here, but basically the food can at times be a bit samey. Salad and bread areas are great and have loads of choice, but I think the grill section could've been bit better. It seemed at times like they were holding back/staggering the best bits too, for example on the main grill they were often cooking nice chicken kebabs but then would only put out chicken wings. Number of watersports- the watersports are v.popular, they could do with a few more paddle boards/pedallos I would say as there were times where everything was in use and the lagoon is massive so it wouldn't be an issue to have more stuff out there I wouldn't think. Activity timings- watersports closes for 2hrs at lunch, which I don't understand. There's a few guys there and they don't seem to do much so I don't get why it has to shut. This is another reason why sometimes there aren't enough boards/canoes, because everyone is trying to use them between 10-12 and 2-5. Opening them out all day would spread the demand more. Surely they could all have lunch on a rota??? The waterslides also follow these hours. Not a massive deal, but just found it bit odd. -Kids club is similar, however I feel like this is more understandable as this is more labour intensive and they may need to have a certain number of team members there per child. However again, perhaps a work around could still be found? -Evening activities don't start until 9:30, which I think if you have younger children is perhaps a bit late, however I do get that this is probs to ensure everyone has time to eat dinner. Perhaps 9 would be bit better tho and still give everyone enough time to eat. I also found the guy who is the host of the evening entertainment does milk it a bit, and therefore the showtime could easily be shortened. The intro takes about 15mins and at the end he always went through every individual cast member to get an applause which to be honest I just thought was a bit excessive. I'm more than happy to give them all a round of applause at the end because they are good, but even for a west end show you don't go through every single cast member one at a time to give them a clap. So the end of the show takes about another 10-15 mins to wrap up! And then he makes digs as people are walking out while this is happening, but I just think people wouldn't feel the need to do that if he just got on with it and closed the show! -Mondays are the resort 'silence' day, so there are no activities in the day or shows at night. There's also no music played around the resort. Just found this again a bit odd, surely with efficiently done rotas they could still run some stuff? Again, not a major problem and perhaps some guests would even like this, but I quite enjoy a bit of music in certain areas and I always like entertainment in the evening too. In summary, overall really nice resort and great value. Although I've written a few things that could be improved, I am still giving the resort 5/5 as I felt like the resort was really great for the price and I would definitely recommend it, especially to families.

Stunning and quirky resort….basic rooms, good food!
This hotel/resort was a great find, never have I been to such a place where the resort has three beaches in such close proximity to one another but completely different. Let me start with the not great bits, if you are disabled and can’t do steps, honestly think long and hard about going here. There are ramps and they advertise as being disabled friendly, however there are steps everywhere. When we arrived we were not given any information about the resort other then “scan the qr code”, I’d have liked a much friendlier welcome, felt a tad overwhelming the size of the place. The beaches were lovely, the pools well maintained and very clean. The boys preferred the indoor pool as it was a tad warmer than the very cold outside pools. Food wise I can’t complain. Still haven’t managed to book a restaurant. The buffet does get a little samey so we broke it up by hopping on the little boat that takes you into town every hour and went to a restaurant. The entertainment team were great and very engaging. There is lots to do here and they clearly care about you having a great vacation. Our room was near the lobby and up 54 steps. The room was basic and the mattress was pretty hard. One of the kids beds was simply a sheet put over the sofa and was not comfortable. The views of the bay and the mountains are simply stunning. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend.

Super resort just a few points
First of all Letoonia is absolutely beautiful and a very well maintained resort. Our room was in area O and had a balcony and sea view that was beautiful and appreciated the room being big enough for three of us.. There were plenty of sunbeds and private beaches to choose from.. most of the staff were friendly some of them perhaps need some training as if you choose a career in hospitality you should be cheery. It could be end of season burn out also! The food was ok however could be amazing if you take a survey with residents but catering for a lot of people is a massive job to take on… There were some great places to have lunch and dinner with amazing views however the only thing was the smoking and vaping was horrendous and you couldn’t escape from it if you were eating outdoors. we suggest more non smoking areas.. the net zero claim is impressive but need to sort out these issues first.. The entertainment team were very hard working especially Eric and Max and of course the rest of the team..the entertainment team could help with friendly customer team training, they made you feel very welcome.. Letoonia management need to look after good people or they will leave. On the whole we had a fantastic holiday with something for to do for all age groups. We had our 12 year old and she loved the entertainment and the kids clubs which were daily. Nothing was a problem and we would definitely return and tell our friends and we had a great holiday.

    Return Visit, did not disappoint
We stayed here last July and have never returned to the same place for this type of holiday. But over the summer, I regretted not coming back here. When we saw an opportunity to come for a week in October, we took it, and are so glad we did. There is very little to add on top of my previous review last year, or the other reviews left with full marks, but just wanted to reaffirm how beautiful this place is, and how amazingly hard the staff work, particularly the cleaning staff. For anyone considering visiting in October, I could not recommend this more. The weather was perfect. Sea and pool warm, no need for any jackets in the evening, and of course, slightly cooler than the summer months to do the activities such as tennis, badminton and art. Despite it being nearly the end of season, there was no sign of the staff getting tired or activities winding down. Everything was great. Also strongly recommend paying the extra for the a la carte meals. I hope I can come back at some point.
