Wonderful week spent at Aydinbay King's Palace
7 nights stay. Clean and nice room (family room). Wonderful and very helpful staff. Close to the well-equipped private beach. I don't agree with some opinions that German tourists are treated better (we are from Poland). Some of the staff know a few phrases in Polish :) Real All Ultra Inclusive :) I definitely recommend Aydinbay King's Palace for everyone who want to spend holidays.

    Rubbish experience
This hotel is not 4 or 5 star it’s 3 start max… The food is not nice it’s same food for breakfast / Lunch / Dinner everyday I been here 7 days not nice….. Small hotel not much activities to do… kids play area is disgusting flilfy…. Coffee lounge is poor same cakes everyday frozen cakes and snack bar is rubbish same food…… only good thing is Land of legions near by so McDonald/ Burger King and other fast food places near by but I won’t recommend this to anyone it’s not worth it at all

    Our Experience
On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room. Firstly the rooms are basic normally in 5* you can expect few extras at least robes this is not the case, but the rooms are cleaned well everyday with fresh bedding and towel’s housekeeping lady was lovely. Dining there is lots of food but it’s a variation on the same thing each day it all looks well presented, my issue is that despite emailing the hotel prior to booking to ask about GF options and being assured that they provided a rage of GF dishes I really struggled to find a decent meal at times and on some days nothing. When I asked for some GF pasta I was given some sort of Turkish cake then eventually a bowl of pasta with some watered down tomato sauce so clearly no GF options. It was a task to even get GF bread when it came it was dry and falling apart. We did have a lovely meal in the ottoman restaurant with a lovely waiter looking after us. Pool lovely and refreshing and we always got sun beds and parasols but as with everyone else you have to get out early. The major issue around the pool areas it was extremely slippery so be warned. The beach area is nice the sea beautiful, the gardens are well maintained. Animation team activities not great no variety and the one with the paddle board is dangerous As Brits we didn’t find this a very inclusive hotel particularly as it is mainly caters for German guests and we were told by the animation team it was a German Hotel/resort, which isn’t very welcoming, so no we won’t be returning. In my opinion this is not a 5* hotel it needs to look at the food options and standard of rooms together with inclusivity

    Positive experiance
Stayed at Aydinbey Kings Palace from 19th August to 25th August with three of my children. The boys absolutley loved it and enjoyed their stay in the hotel. Staff were accommodating and friendly. The swimming pools were lively and enjoyable. Food was buffet style in main resturant but also had la carte which was lovely. The beach is literally at your door step and was good. The beach bar and resturant was amazing. Dont be put of any bad reviews about this hotel is it is as stated a 5 star resort. Would 100% visit again and highly recomend this hotel as you wont be disapointed.

Good value with a lot of positives
Review from British family, so any Brits looking to book here this should help you with booking here. We booked our August holiday based of the positive reviews but were apprehensive however pleasantly surprised when we arrived, any other Brits looking to book here and can get for a good price definitely book it. Start with the negatives... Yes the hotel is mostly German guests we only meet about four British families while there but it's not too much of a problem, as already mentioned in other reviews the amount smoking all over the resort is an area the hotel should really look at sorting, making some of the outside seating areas none smoking would really up the standards of this hotel. The hotel doesn't have enough bins around the pool areas to put your rubbish in through the day and staff don't walk around enough collecting rubbish as much as they should which is a shame as the overall cleanliness is good throughout the hotel. Getting lounge beds is not too much hassle, if you get them before 8-8:30am, after then most beds are taken so just keep that in mind but lots do free up over the day. Positives... As far as all inclusives hotels this is our 4th in Turkey the food is the best we've had so far, the buffet is as expected for most all inclusive but they do have a good variety but the outside grill area always offered really nice fresh food each day, definitely try the cook to order pasta and the roasted meats they offer as well as the burritos these were very good. During the day the beach bar has a good choice of food for lunch and they serve you at your table. The À La Carte you can book the day before we tried the BBQ, Italian and Mexican all were really good very impressed for an AI and these are at no extra cost. Ice creams available from the poolside bar and beach bar through the day which is great for the kids, at 4pm they do cakes, cookies etc, the drinks are also very good, yes the alcohol is not as strong but drinks and cocktails are tasty, they also do iced coffee, frozen slushie for kids as well as anything else you ask for. If you want a decent coffee or cappuccino you'll need to go to the Irish bar which is open 24/7 the coffee in the restaurant is just the machine type which is just okay. Pools are nice and warm and the slides are fun for kids, entertainment team do fun activities during the day that kids can get involved in. Beach is only a 2 min walk from main pool, lots of beach beds but we found it far too hot on the beach so stuck to the pool area. Evening entertainment was really good, much more family orientated than we've seen in other Turkish resorts, there was fire shows, acrobatics and dance night as well as live music nights at the beach bar, each night from 10:30 the beach bar has a DJ playing music and is good fun if you want to hit the dancefloor. If you want a more chilled out evening then Lobby bar has nice sofas and armchairs, the bar staff bring you snacks for the table and again the cocktails are very nice. We found all the staff very friendly and nice, they love the English and when they realise you are English they make a good effort to speak English to you and some do speak good English which helps. There are shops by the lobby which his convenient if you need anything from a shop but there's also the Mall down the road about a 2 min walk away to cater for anything you might need. There's an onsite hairdresser/barbers which is really handy and well priced. Also a spa on site which we used for a Turkish bath and massage, yes you can probably get it a bit cheaper down the road but the Spa onsite is very clean, you don't need to walk to far for it and the treatments were very good. Also an onsite gym open 7-7 which is handy and has enough kit to have a decent workout. The rooms are all you need from a room, enough space for what you need, cleaned every day and the shower is powerful, plus good air conditioning. The location is very good if you want to venture out, we got a taxi into Side Harbour a couple nights which only costs 15 Euros each way, but you can also contact some of the restaurants on the harbour who do free pick-up. Overall Aydinbey Kings Palace is one of the better all inclusive resorts around with a lot to offer, if they improved in a few areas this would be a real 5 star hotel. We would return for sure as you can get over the small negatives when everything else is good.
