ATLANTIS BEACH HOTEL

Pick this hotel for the group and it didn’t disappoint. Great location and amazing staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I can’t pick one thing that I could complain about. We stayed a week and to be honest. None of us wanted to leave. We will be back next year.

My wife and I just returned from a week at the Atlantis having had a terrific week. The hotel is just across the road from the hotels own beach area with a food and drink service, sun beds and umbrellas. The pool area with its two pools plus kid’s pool is great with loads of available sun beds (in September) and they are really comfortable as they all had mattresses. Our room (401) on the ground floor was great with a good shower and comfortable beds, the only issue being there is a cleaning/maintenance storage room on the outside wall which staff were accessing before 8:00 am which if you’re a light sleeper like could be disturbing. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The spa area was very good. The only issue we had which I didn’t see in any other reviews was that although the food (breakfast and dinner) was good in terms of the quality and choice nearly all of the cooked dishes were lukewarm. Which detracted from the dining experience. It’s about a half hour walk into the old town so not too bad and there are plenty of places to stop for a drink along the seafront and there are taxis for the trip back if needed. We did have a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again.

I had an amazing experience at this beautiful hotel. The rooms are perfect and cleaned to an extremely high standard. The food choices for breakfast and evening meal are varied and delicious! The location is perfect for a relaxing break, with the old town of Rethymon a 20 min walk or 6 euros in a cab and the beach sits just across the road and is idyllic! The real jewel in the crown though are the hotels staff, who are the friendliest people I have ever met. Each and everyone one is warm, welcoming and will go above and beyond for their customers! We will definitely be returning 💛

Due to problems outside their control, our booked hotel was unable to accomodate us and booked us into the Atlantis for one night. We rated it excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice room and we were lucky to have a sea view. Bathroom is excellent with separate toilet and walk in shower. Above all the restaurant is really nice. We were half board, but I think it was E23 (excluding drinks which were not expensive), if you just bought the buffet which had a huge choice and was excellent quality. There were king prawns which were tasty and firm. There was a choice of 3 sushi. Salad, hot food, lots of deserts, icecream. A storm came through, so we did not use the pool with lots of loungers and sunshades, nor the loungers on the beach, but both looked nice and well maintained. We would happily have stayed longer

The Atlantis Beach Hotel & Spa is excellent, a fantastic location, clean and good sized rooms, and a great place to relax. Everyone at the hotel was lovely, from all the people behind reception, the restaurant staff and the friendly faces we saw every day around the pool and on the beach, and couldn't be more helpful. The hotel amenities are superb, with pools, a gym and a spa, an outside bar and a great value restaurant. The breakfast and evening meal buffets are excellent, with a very wide choice to suit any diet and great value. We will come back. Highly recommended.
