ATLANTICA OCEAN BEACH RESORT

This year will be my 6th time coming to this beautiful hotel...it was called Louis Creta Princess and has since changed its name, updated the rooms and also added new restaurants etc...The staff are amazing..the food is amazing and the hotel is clean and the staff are beautiful...I am coming on the 12th September and hope my friends are still there..Ellie, Efi, Takis,Irene and Georgia. Cannot wait to see everyone and also stay in my happy place x

We came as a family of 4 with a 4 year old and 3 month old. The hotel is decent for a family break. Pools and slides very good for the kids and for an all inclusive the food wasn’t too bad although repetitive. As other reviews state, snack bar serving pizza/gyros/burgers which is decent. Drinks mainly all self serve, typical for an all inclusive, local brands but ok. Soft drinks not great at all. Al a carte restaurants advertised, but when we asked to book we were told they were finished after tomorrow, and fully booked. We should’ve had the option when we arrived to book or be told you could, this could be clearer as we missed out completely because of this. We opted for courtesy room as we had a late flight and didn’t fancy paying the €70 for 3 extra hours or €100 for 6 hours until 6pm. (I think these prices were made up to be honest) We had a good stay overall, but this was ruined slightly on the last day when we needed the courtesy room. We asked about 3 times whether we needed to book one and was told every time that we should turn up 5 minutes before as there is lots of different rooms. We arrived at reception for the room to be told we’d have to wait for another 3 family’s to use it first. Not great with young children when you’ve been promised you wouldn’t have to wait. Anyway we waited… when it was our turn I asked would towels be up there and was told yes of course. Got to the room, and the bathroom was left in a disgusting state by whoever was before us, toilet and shower etc… dirty towels all over the bathroom still. No one had even changed towels in between family’s. When I told reception this, the attitude shown was as disgusting as the room itself. It was as though it was our fault and we should just put up with it as it’s a room for everyone. Receptionist eventually sent a cleaner to sort it out but we obviously had to wait for this so wasted probably an hour and half in total messing about just to have a quick shower before transfer. Most staff all holiday were pretty indifferent but we never let that bother us, but the receptionist in question was definitely the worst. After this, I have to say a special thanks to…Maria ( I think) the guest relations manager was lovely and tried to make sure we were all ok and even gave our littleones a small gift to keep them busy at the airport. All in all it was a good family holiday but this incident did ruin our opinion of the hotel at the end. PS ignore people moaning about the beach, it’s lovely and quiet just get some beach shoes to avoid the rocks!!

Hotel not really busy what was a plus for us no fighting for towels 😂😂nothing around hotel to see and schoops already closed Very cold water in october should be heated if u want be 4 star food was average nearly all the same every day What was for a plus very nice people around hotel especially reception team and animation team 😀antonio we will remeber you and Tatiana 😀 we definitely not back in here maybe summer time is better who know

I think this hotel is not far from 5 stars compered to the other hotels in the Europe. Everything from Hotel services was perfectly fine from the biggening to the end. All staff on all levels are very polite and professional. Special Big Thank you to Kids club, The lady who look after children very intelligent and responsible you can feel you leave your child in safe place. Hotel in nice, clean with lot of places to relax for each age. Food is very good with lots of local choices .There is small shop with everything you may need. car rental in hotel for reasonable price and most important car park for free. You can also rent a small Jeep fully insured inc, road to Balos. There is also opportunity to make professional photos and buy trips all for good price. Beach towels without deposit. One evening We had a issues with light in our room but Electrician has been send within 10 min and sorted out immediately. I definitely would love to come back.

Visited in Mid-October for a short 3 night stay. Hotel has been refurbished to a high level and the bars/rooms/restaurant/pool areas are very modern and welcoming to relax. Estimate the hotel was only 25% full with the majority of sunbeds and tables in restaurants available. Guest relations were able to help book the a la carte restaurants ahead of check in which were both worth a visit. Food/drink was standard all inclusive, the earlier you go to buffet the fresher/more available etc. with plenty of variety. Enjoyed the entertainment with Greek night hosted at the Pool Bar and animation team star providing an impromptu concert after the salsa dancing. Nice location on the beach and easy trip from Chania Airport. Would recommend
