    Incredible Holiday
We stayed at Arum Barut from 13th June to 21st June and had an amazing experience! We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were able to get some food from the restaurant (a great quality fresh hot and cold buffet!) along with drinks. Our room was great however did face out onto the back of the hotel so not much to look at or listen to other than a generator, we spoke with reception the next morning and they were very accommodating and found us another room overlooking the pool with a side view of the sea free of charge. The food in the hotel was amazing, a great selection, extremely clean and constantly replenished. We liked that you could also book the a la carte restaurants for every evening and the restaurant by the sea for lunch (no booking required). Our favourite restaurant was Petunya - Turkish food. The drinks were also great, wine was nice, beer was good (nice selection), cocktails were also lovely and all premium alcohol brands are included. The beach bar was a favourite for a morning coffee and evening drink with sunny and shaded areas to sit. The pool area was spotlessly clean and very spacious, we never had an issue getting a sun-bed even later in the day. There are sun-beds around the various pools or on the grass areas. The entertainment was really good, the euros were on whilst we were there so they were played in the stage area by the beach. The pool bar entertainment was great, we loved the Cuban band and the light show. There was various entertainment for everyone each evening including an underground disco club for those who wanted to stay out late. Our flight home was late and we didn’t opt for a late checkout on our room which we were slightly worried about but the hotel offers a great facility to hold luggage and an area for guests to shower and get ready with great air corn which was a stand out for us! Other hotels do not always offer this. All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful, specific shout outs for Umut at the Pool Bar, Voltan for the Archery and activities and Amber on Reception. You are always greeted with a smile, they remember your name and make you feel so welcome. The only thing we would say is missing was an onsite ATM, staff do not expect tips but would’ve been great to be able to get some cash out to give to them! This is by far one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at and have recommended to all of our family and friends. I am returning for a girls trip next year and can’t wait! Thank you for the best holiday!

Great place to relax, great staff but some allergen awareness needed for some staff
Booked Arum Barut for me and my mum. Contacted them before about gluten free for me (as I am coeliac and have to eat a strict gluten free diet) and accessibility for my mum who's 85 and has some mobility issues. Booked a room in the main building as advised this had a lift. The hotel was lovely, the staff all very pleasant and worked hard keeping all the areas clean. Rooms were comfy and ours had a kettle and a Nespresso coffee maker. The supplies of tea, coffee plus the drinks in the mini fridge (bottled water, soft drinks and lager) were replenished every day. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are supplied as well as some useful items like shoe horn, loofah, cotton wool pads, nail file. Dressing gowns were provided too and there were some complimentary slippers. There was a small box of chocolates in the room as a welcome gift. As there was no allergen information I could not risk eating them but my mum really enjoyed them. There was a good choice of food at all mealtimes. The restaurant staff were attentive in ensuring drinks were refilled. Most food marked with the allergens but not all (which was quite disappointing) such as some of the desserts which looked like mousse but had no details so no idea if I could eat them. Also, some food was not correctly marked for example the baked salmon that they had on the carvery one night I could see was cooked in pastry but no details of gluten and the maître de when I told him just said oh yes they’ve missed something but didn’t seem overly bothered. As a coeliac I know I am responsible for my own health, but anyone catering for paying customers need to understand the consequences of what could happen if they get it wrong with allergens. They served gluten free lager which was really good, although one lunchtime the waiter tried to insist he was pouring me a gluten free lager but I questioned it 2 or 3 times as did not look like the bottle i had before and found out it was alcohol free. Glad it was not the first time I'd asked for a gluten free lager as otherwise I would not have known and ended up being extremely unwell. At breakfast and dinner there was a specific gluten free section which was good. At breakfast they had gluten free bread and a gf toaster (and you need to toast it as just as bread it was awful and only one kind available), gf cereals, gf biscuits etc and at dinner gf bread and gf desserts, but for some reason they did not have a gf section at lunch. I spoke to the girl who was serving the ice creams one lunchtime and she went off to the kitchen to get me a couple of desserts, but these had just been taken out of the freezer and were impossible to eat. With regards the gf bread, when went to the a la carte restaurants they had fairly decent gf bread so not sure why the buffet restaurant only provided one sort. The plates were also not warm (even though in a warming plate dispenser) so quite often by the time got back to the table the food could be just lukewarm. We went to two of the a la carte restaurants where we had some delicious food. When looking at the menu there was not much choice for gf but when I spoke to guest relations when booking they said they will make sure it’s on the booking and the restaurants would be able to cater for me which they definitely did. Akasya which did Mediterranean dishes was our favourite and Petunya did a Turkish menu which was also really nice and in a great location overlooking the sea. The hotel has a policy for no sun loungers to be reserved before 7.30am which seems early to me. We would normally wake about 8 and could see from our balcony that by then nearly all the sunbeds had been reserved!! I think it would be better if it had a no reserving policy at all as we would go to the pool about 10 after breakfast and would struggle to find two sun loungers together but loads with towels on but no one using them! The pools you could just walk into which was good. The heated pool was the most popular probably because the unheated pool felt very cold. The beach was lovely and sandy, but the sea was difficult for my mum as there are rocks as you walk in and it was a bit rough (not anything the hotel can do anything about I know). You can walk down to the end of the pier and go in the sea by the steps if you want. We enjoyed the entertainment in the pool bar in the evening and enjoyed watching some filming they were doing for the hotel promotion one day. They have a good range of drinks and we tried to try all the cocktails whilst we were there 😂 Overall, a nice hotel, lovely staff, and a great place to relax, but perhaps some staff need to have some allergen awareness training.

    Fabulous hotel
A fabulous beachside hotel with fabulous family rooms. The gardens are beautiful and very well kept. We enjoyed watching the olives being harvested. The food is fantastic and we enjoyed eating at all 3 a la carte restaurants. There is a fantastic selection of drinks, the minibar is topped up daily too. The housekeepers are brilliant and very respectful. There are definitely more activities on offer in the pools and on the beach in peak weeks (school holidays). It would be great if they had more than 1 pool table and 2 table tennis tables as they’re always in high demand. There are a few shops and bars in easy walking distance and the bazaars are only a short drive away.

Great hotel with excellent staff and extremely child friendly
This is a great hotel with excellent service. We were a bit worried about going all inclusive as this can often be a bit chaotic. But all meals were so well organised and there was never any trouble getting a table. The food was excellent and a great selection of deserts including a separate ice cream station. The hotel is excellent for young children- we had a 2 year old! The pool area is really well designed and perfect for adults and children. There is a separate pool area for children but this can get busy. Our little girl loved the pool foam party. The hotel has plenty of room for sunbeds either by the pool , on the grass or on the beach. There is also a very nice play area and nursery for children with excellent staff. There is a really good evening entertainment programme with some great dancers/performances. We really enjoyed our stay and hope we can return again in the future.

An excellent choice for our first family all inclusive
Our agenda when booking this holiday was a top quality all inclusive resort with good quality accommodation, food and service, with enough to keep all the family happy yet not too big. It was our first all inclusive as a family and we had been a little sceptical whether it would be for us. The Arum Barut comfortably lived up to our expectations and more in many ways. The rooms we had included a penthouse suite in the main building which was very comfortable with a large balcony and fantastic view. The second two bedroom family suite was in one of the garden blocks and was ideal for our family needs. There were only stairs in the family blocks but it wasn’t an issue for our family. Both rooms were immaculately clean and kept that way by the staff throughout our stay. In fact the whole resort was kept to a high standard with cleaning as required through the day. There was a complimentary mini bar in both rooms with soft drinks, beer, water and in the penthouse suite wine as well. All restocked daily which was a useful extra. Breakfast was buffet style in a very large restaurant with both inside and outside seating. We never saw any waiting for tables whatever the time. The selection of food was very good and we all enjoyed the choices. The same restaurant is also open for lunch and again had an excellent range of delicious choices including freshly made pasta which was delicious. We tried the evening buffet as well which again had a very wide choice but our preference in the evening isn’t buffet style. They do have three a la carte restaurants for the evening as well which can also be booked and we tried two of them but we’re a little disappointed in the overall experience in both (Asian and Turkish). We had always planned to eat out on a few nights anyway so it was convenient when we needed. The daytime food options as well as the main buffet were excellent and plentiful around the resort from sit down options to freshly made and delicious sandwiches, flatbreads, ice creams, cakes and desserts. The main pool bar had a swim up side as well as a large seating area with excellent and friendly staff, great choice of drinks and entertainment in the evening until 11.00. The beach bar was excellent day and night and the large lobby bar was open 24 hours if that’s what you wanted. There was an excellent water slide pool with 4 slides which was open a few hours each day with a break for about an hour and a half do the lifeguards could have a break and lunch. This was centrally located so convenient to allow reasonably aged children use it while around the other pools. It was also well used by adults as the slides are for all ages from about 6 upwards I would say. In addition there was aquarobics in one pool and table tennis and lots of other activities for all age groups. The usual early bed savers were in abundance claiming the key spots and not using them for many hours in spite of the many signs around asking people not to do it. We were 6 people and didn’t join the early rush but with some shuffling around still managed to find a spot when we arrived at the pool each day. The beach also gets busy but there are ample beds there. Overall we were extremely pleased and impressed with the quality of food and drink options , facilities, activities and very much by the excellent staff throughout the resort.
