ARMAS GUL BEACH HOTEL

Beach area is full of chairs, nothing beautiful and no seats cause hotel is overcrowded, ultra does not mean normal cappuccino or gin and tonic. Dinner time is awful, dont have knives and forks etc. Most of the staff does not speak english. There is no elevator in one part of the hotel. It is not clean and nice, stairwells are broken and dangerous. It is not 4 star hotel, more like 2! Staff looked tired i felt sorry for them! There are no normal blankets.

If you're not Russian, do yourself a favor and skip this hotel! The staff and 99% of guests speak only Russian, so good luck with communication. This place redefines "dirty"—rooms, restaurant, everything is FILTHY. The food? Let’s just say even the fried eggs were inedible. I managed to lose 1.5 kg in 5 days, basically a forced detox retreat. There are chickens, roosters, and dozens of cats that jump on tables while you're eating. Sounds like a 5* hotel?! This hotel deserves a maximum of 3 stars, and I have no idea how it has received such positive reviews, must be scam.

The reasons we chose this hotel were simple and straightforward: 1. Good online reviews. 2. A detailed description. 3. The large space offered by the hotel. We chose one of the most expensive options for a couple, with high expectations. **Unfortunately, our experience did not meet those expectations.** Reception: From the moment we arrived, we felt unappreciated. The reception was cold and unwelcoming, almost like they were asking, "Why are you here?". There was no guide or escort to show us around, leaving us to figure things out on our own. Staff shortage: It was clear that the staff was overwhelmed due to the influx of guests, but this does not excuse the lack of attention. Sunbeds: Even though the resort has plenty of space, there’s a major issue with the sunbeds at the beach and pool. Guests reserve sunbeds the night before at the beach and early in the morning at the pool, making you feel obligated to wake up at 7 AM just to secure a spot, even though you’re on vacation. Cleanliness of common areas: The maintenance of common areas was disappointing. The pool restrooms were unacceptably dirty. Guest behavior: There was a noticeable lack of respect and courtesy from the guests, and no one seemed to address this. There was no management of the situation. Food: Dinner was supposed to start at 7 PM, but preparations began as early as 6:30 PM, causing many special dishes to run out before dinner officially began. This is unacceptable. Room: Our room was clean and tidy. The service was correct. Beach and pool guards: They were the only ones who showed full responsibility. They made sure no glass cups were allowed in the pool area, which is highly appreciated. Bar: Generally okay, but you felt more at ease if you spoke Russian or Turkish, which is somewhat inconvenient for someone who doesn’t speak either language. Recommendation for management: I hope that next year, you manage the resort better. The staff should treat customers well, as they are paying for a service, but at the same time, ensure that the hotel rules are respected, and not allow guests to do as they please. The common areas need to be kept cleaner, and the rules regarding sunbeds must be enforced. Based on the conditions of our 7-day stay, I cannot recommend this resort to my friends.

I recently enjoyed a stay at Armas Gul Beach Resort, and it was a memorable experience. Our seven-day visit was delightful. The staff were incredibly kind, always ready to help, and very accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and inviting. The cuisine was exceptional, offering a wide variety of choices every day. The warm hospitality, superb dining, and great location made our holiday remarkable. One point to note is that the staff should be provided with English language training. The animation team was very friendly and welcoming. For those seeking a place to truly unwind and enjoy a vacation, Armas Gul Beach Resort is exceptional. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend Armas Gul Resort for anyone visiting Kemer.

Everything was not bad as 4 stars, but the inability of the staff to communicate in English is terrible (but this is the case in most hotels in Turkey). But you still have to spoil it like this on the last day - when I asked for a normal towel, they laughed at me and told me to take what they gave, although before that people left with 4 clean towels, nothing can beat the arrogance of the spa staff, every time you come to get a towel you feel indebted to them.
