AQUILA ATLANTIS HOTEL

From the moment we arrived, the level of service and attention to detail was truly outstanding. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities were immaculate, and the luxurious ambiance of the hotel made every moment feel special. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and offered breathtaking views. We stayed at this hotel 5 nights, and the spa was definitely the highlight :) Kalliope was so friendly and professional. And the massage she gave was amazing!! I was so relaxed after, and it was unique to anything I'd had before. Thanks so much Kalliope, you were great!!! About the hotel - no one else has mentioned but I didn't feel safe as a young woman walking in the area at night. That's a lot of places though. Electricity went out on 3 separate occasions as well. Thank you Kalliope for making my stay :)

Just got back from a vacation trip to Greece and Italy and had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at the Aquila Atlantis Hotel in downtown Heraklion, Crete. This was a 1st class hotel at a reasonable price and it was beautiful, clean, good location and the free breakfast was amazing. However, the best part was the staff, everyone was very friendly, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Great choice for a hotel in Heraklion!

We have just spent a week in this well run hotel. We picked it based on great location and previous reviews. We received a lovely welcome and just about the right details to take in on arriving. Parking was explained and we only had to pay one out of seven nights at the city parking. The rooms are well appointed with great WiFi, lovely beds and the best showers I’ve come across in a hotel in ages. We given a very good list of local recommendations of places to eat. All easy walking distance. We had the best night sleep and yes you can see the planes but they stop at night and your on island you can hardly miss them completely. You can also see the harbour which is lovely to watch. The breakfast team are very friendly and can’t do enough for you getting me gluten free bread and espresso coffees. The selection of food on the buffet is excellent and the best Greek honey ! The hotel has a lovely bar again great staff. I did use the gym most mornings sadly no free weights but I still managed a good workout. We used the roof top pool and lay out a couple of times and enjoyed bar food delivered to us on the roof. Really good snack menu. We mostly drove to the beach but the pool is nice if you can’t and good sunbeds in the sun and towels provided for the pool. We are well travelled and chose this hotel based on previous travellers reviews and it was perfect for exploring this lovely city. Highly recommend as a great base . Thank you

Average 3 starts hotel at most. DO NOT TAKE the Harbour view rooms that they are selling as premium rooms as they are over looking the airport runway and the every 3 minutes take offs will drive you crazy day and night. Be ware! The only plus is city Center proximity but there are many other hotels near the Center.
