ALMYROS BEACH RESORT & SPA

The most wonderful hotel experience. The environment was spotlessly clean. The food was tasty and diverse - lovely fresh stone baked pizzas. The animation team were friendly and approachable. Special thanks to Jambo, Marti, Miro and Mooki who were so much fun. Jambo you were hilarious with the kids. The pools and slides were great entertainment and the sea was heavenly to swim in. Special mention for the cats on site, we will miss them so much! Thank you Almyros Beach, we hope to come back soon!

A fantastic all-inclusive family hotel. Not too busy and everyone has their own luxury room with terrace or large balcony. The food is very good, a nice beach, good shops, great pool and water slides. The room was very comfortable and good WiFi. Highly recommended.

Wonderful holiday at a great location. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotless and well maintained. Food and drink was excellent with great choices. A great relaxing holiday. I would recommend this hotel . A la carte meal was exceptional

Great resort, the whole family loved it. Special mention has to go out to Alex and the rest of the animation team whom were absolutely brilliant with the activities and entertainment which was the highlight for my kids. Wide ranging food in the restaurant of excellent quality, freshly made pizza was a family favourite!

Overall a very positive experience. The good- Spotlessly clean throughout. Even the pool toilets are cleaned all day long. The food has a huge range and is of a high standard. The desserts are particularly good. Kids loved the crepes by the pool. Plenty of sun loungers and it’s nice you can use the beach as well if you’re all inclusive. The aesthetic of the place is very modern and beautiful. Nice size balcony and rooms which were also cleaned daily. Bell hop cars are lovely on arrival. Kids loved them. The pools are a great size and didn’t feel crowded. The a la carte restaurant is stunning and definitely worth a visit Fabulous sunsets Negatives- the restaurant is very busy but they’re allowing certain families to reserve tables. Not sure what the reason for that was but we were made to move once not realising it was reserved. The animation team- wasn’t that impressed. The girls that run the activities under the canopies don’t seem that interested. I would expect more from this standard of hotel than a bit of colouring in. On one day they were doing face painting and my daughter wanted it doing. The girl only painted half my daughter’s face then lost interest and declared it done leaving me with a tearful three year old. The night when they do the show where all the animation team perform various sketches is dreadful. I honestly cringed through the whole thing. Also noticed a couple of the team getting a bit close with each other during the karaoke night. Not sure that’s appropriate. As part of the package one night in the a la carte restaurant was included. I tried to book this on arrival and was told no need. Then when we tried to book it a couple of days later we were told no availability for the rest of our holiday. We complained to the manager and managed to get booked in. There is one lifeguard between three pools and both of these spend all their time propping up the bar, one was watching the olympics on his iPad. They really need one sitting at the top of the water slides as there is going to be an accident. Most parents are just letting their children, including very small ones go up and down alone. Need someone at the top making sure multiple aren’t going down together. The water slides also have a 130cm height restriction ( which nobody is bothering with). They really need something smaller for 2-6 year olds.
