AKRA - V HOTEL

We visit Antalya a lot. This was our 3rd visit this year and I was travelling to have surgery. We usually stay at the sister hotel The Akra but it’s been closed for renovations. I was slightly apprehensive at staying at a different hotel but wow there was no need. Our room was a suite with a huge balcony where we enjoyed the beautiful November weather. The hotel location is perfect. We had dinner or lunch on most occasions in The Shakespeare next door which was also lovely. For me the staff made all the difference in this hotel, perhaps because it’s a smaller hotel. But the day I left hospital after my surgery to return to the hotel it was so kind to be greeted by a staff member to grab our bag and assist me to the room. It was really appreciated …. Thank you! I really loved our room, it was clean, bright and airy and always smelt beautiful. Thank you

After leaving our hotel early due to the abysmal conditions, I Booked Akra V for the remainder of the holiday. I so wish we'd booked here first, it was amazing. Room beautiful, staff very attentive. Yes the pools and most restaurants are across in their sister hotel over the road but it's not an issue crossing over the road bridge. My daughter was given her own little amusement arcade card with tokens on, she loved it. I'd stay here again for sure.

The rooms and service were good. I love how this hotel is connected with Akra across on the other side of the road where you can access the pool and gym. Not much good restaurants nearby and you have to cross over a bridge if you wanna get access to the pool and gym. Do I wanna recommend this place to family/friends, maybe.

Avoid at all costs if you are not Turkish or don’t speak English, My room wasn’t even ready when I arrived even though my honeymoon booking was made weeks ago, was told to wait around the lobby for 4 hours as they refused to check me in, while other Turkish speaking people were allowed to check in we were the only two people sat in the lobby room less for our. Horrible experience ruined my whole trip

Great location in Antalya. Two properties Akra and AkraV. AkraV is in the annex across the road. Akra is the main building and would be our choice next time for convenience. If we had stayed at Akra (mail building) with an ocean view - it would a 5 star review. If staying at AnkraV you have to cross a foot bridge to get to breakfast, pools, seaside and restaurants. Staff are relatively friendly and most speak or try to speak English to you. Breakfast would have to be one of the best when compared to anywhere in the world due to the choices offered for everything. Amazing views over the ocean (Main Building) Lobby Bar gave us a beautiful sunset (great steak sandwich and selection of wines) and the Breakfast terrace (with great service) offered sensational views over the ocean towards the mountains. AnkraV limited view. Good room amenities - including slippers it’s clean and they have comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again - but in the main building.
