AKRA KEMER

We have just had two weeks at the Akra Kemer, and quite honestly was very disappointed after reading the previous reviews. Firstly, we paid an upgrade for a partial sea view, this view was only available from the tiny balcony through the trees, otherwise our view was the building opposite, offering no privacy in our room. The only good thing I can say about the rooms was the comfortable bed, not the bedding though as on one occasion they put a cover on the quilt and it had a large hole in it, not 5* quality. The dining experience was absolutely shambolic (apparently it was a Turkish school holiday for our second week). Children were allowed to bring scooters/roller skates and even hover boards into the dining room with no consideration to people carrying plates etc, there were a large number of blind/partly sighted guests and I saw several incidents with colliding children/adults. The staff did not do or say anything only shrug their shoulders! A number of guests complained to guest relations and they also agreed it was a problem but basically did nothing. The lobby bar (or as we called it a corridor) was a disgrace too, it was no where adequate for the large number of guests and staff were under pressure constantly. Also as non smokers we could not sit outside in the comfortable seating due to the large number of guests who smoke, so unless we wanted to join in with their cigarette we had to find seats (if we were lucky) inside. A few good points about this hotel were: the pool service, supplied by polite/fast staff on roller skates, the adults only jazz bar with live music each night, good selection of quality branded drinks available, and the outside of the hotel, turning left past the Orange County hotel brought you to a pleasant seafront pathway to the harbour a few minutes walk away. This was our experience/opinion at this hotel and many returning guests love it.

The best hotel I've ever been to, cleanliness 10/10, room equipment - decor spaciousness 10/10, food - taste and variety 10/10, beautiful pools, sea pier (there are also sunbeds and service 10/10 (Musat, Indra, Putu thank you very much for great massages and very nice service) a lot of bars everywhere and everything available almost 24 hours a day. What more can I add, I will definitely come back here and I recommend it 100% ;) thank you for being here ♥️

Excellent hotel!! Great resort, fabulous hotel, friendly staff with impeccable manners and service, big bedrooms, brilliant activity schedule (e.g. morning gym, Pilates, yoga, aqua aerobics, table tennis/dart/golf tournaments), all inclusive food was always top notch, mini bar refreshed every day, lovely spa, great pools and slides, beach/pool/spa towels plentiful, quiet lounges/bar if you want to read indoors with a cocktail, loved every second and can't wait to go back!!

This was our 3rd visit to this amazing hotel. It cannot be praised enough. The food is stunning but it’s the staff that make this place special. A few of the familiar staff have moved on which was sad to see and you do notice the impact, but still first class. The staff I must praise for us were Apolly and Tayfun from the entertainment team. These guys make the days as fun as possible and are so kind to my children. Emine, Yilmaz, Mert and Sevval are a true credit to the bar staff. The children’s kids club and disco are great, even my shy son loved it. Fatih is a wizard with the kids. Please pass on our appreciation to them all. We are booked to come back next April and Possibly next October. We adore this hotel.

This was a make or break for me and my wife for turkey due to having a previous bad experience and WOW! The hotel is amazing and very spacious, had 1 rainy day and was loads still to do. The rooms are cleaned very well, there is not any rubbish around the hotel at all. Staff Everyone seems so happy to be here, the management in the blue coats get involved at meal times to help when needed. Deniz in the buffet restaurant looks after his section exceptionally well! Never a dirty table left for more than 30 seconds, how he does it is beyond me! Get in his section people!!! Entertainment The team have the perfect balance of chatting to you but also letting you enjoy your holiday. There is something to do for everyone at some point in time and done in areas suitable. Harry (hussein) for us has been amazing, always makes a point of having a chat, very friendly and will help you out if need information. He loves working for the hotel and always praises it which is genuine and caused us to book next year when we are back. If you want a experience and value for money we can not recommend this hotel enough!
