We booked this hotel for my mother when she visited Athens. It was a good choice: The hotel is very central but in a quiet alley, the staff was very helpful, and the room was nice and clean and even had a view to Mount Lycabettus. Only downside was a couple next door who had a rather loud argument one night. After a while, my mother knocked on their door and asked them to keep it down, which they did. We will certainly book this hotel again!

We had a pleasant time as a family of 3. We stayed in an Executive Suite that we booked directly from the hotel website, got a good price. We found the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating, including the reception, the rooftop pool bar staff and even the cleaning staff. Even before our stay the reception emailed us to make sure they could accommodate any possible requests. The rooftop pool area is amazing (the #1 reason for choosing this hotel), and thanks to the minimum required spending it is not overcrowded. I don't understand the criticism from people about the minimum spending, I found this well communicated beforehand. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, but it not a walking distance from the city centre. We used Uber and Freenow, the taxi cost 6-7€ from the hotel to the shopping street. The rooms were clean and of appropriate size, but to be honest they are rather outdated and would need some upgrading (carpet floors in the 2020s, lol). The breakfast was rather basic but tasted good!

We were excited to end our holiday at the hotel and spend a day poolside, however the wildfires in Athens are now very close to the hotel (6 miles away). I have mobility issues and asthma and it simply would not be safe for me to be in that vicinity and I am travelling with a child. Although I’d only booked last minute on Saturday and the fire broke out on Sunday the hotel refused any sort of refund and took payment in full. Fair enough it’s the terms & conditions I accepted on booking, but you would have thought they would understand and accommodate the needs of a guest with health issues when there are emergency alerts going off on our phones about the fires all day yesterday in the exact vicinity of the hotel! The hotel actually tried to tell me to still travel and made me feel like I was being unreasonable and over cautious and had no interest in accommodating my health issues Not great service and wouldn’t recommend on this basis alone

The room is average Bed sheets to small so when you turn over they come off Light not working, so room impossibly dark- reported it but not fixed ( was offered to move to a lesser room!) No shower gel Only 2 of everything but a room for 3 Air con hit and miss Room similar to a premier inn No internet in room Breakfast like a bun fight - far too busy and not really replenished fast enough Reception falsely nice - give the impression of helpful until you challenge then then they get defensive The worst bit is the pool They charge €25 to use it! You need to book. Most of the day there are empty beds people have booked but don’t turn up for and they don’t let you use them! Also it’s not a pool to swim in, just a small area to dip in Overall I would 100 % not recommend

On the plus side, the hotel is quiet and the bed was comfy. On the negatives: shocked to find out the fees to use the pool! Shower had strange fumes of sulpher/methane from the drain. There is no business centre if you need a quiet area to make a call, do work. The internet is weak. I would not stay here again.
