    Family fun in the sun
Chose Acharavi due to better deal going all inclusive rather than B&B in Roda. You get what you pay for, so people commenting about hotel not being 4* should be realistic around their package holiday price. We paid less than £1000, so knew it wouldn't be the Ritz. However the quality of service and friendliness of the staff was priceless. Plus points... large site, nice gardens & seating areas. 2 pools, catering for children in one. Variety of food & drinks daily. Room made up daily if required. Games room, gym, Spa & TV area. Small shop on site. Pool bars & main bar. You can see they've invested money into main reception area & bar area but perhaps need to gradually make up rooms. Our room had necessary amenities, nice large bed for us and single bed for daughter. Air con was free and had nice balcony area in the sun. Plenty sockets. Bathroom needs updated, rain shower didn't work & when showered it would flood floor. Rusted around furnishings. People complained about food choices being repetitive, but this is expected with buffet style all inclusive, catering for the masses. There was plenty choice & was good quality. We ate out locally on some days as food is cheap. A few issues with hazards around front pool, super slippy with steps, although this is advertised as adult pool. Kids pool at back is heavily chlorinated. Roda is a 20 minute walk along coast, beautiful photo opportunities and a little livelier due to end of season. Can't compliment the staff enough, family friendly hotel and would stay again for price. No frills fun in the sun.

    Best stuff
We are a group of four girls, we stayed in this hotel in the middle of October, specifically in rooms 222,205, everything was excellent, the rooms were spotless and the view from the pool was wonderful. There are no words for the staff, especially the reception staff were the best part of the hotel. very friendly and willing to help you with anything you need

    4 star hotel, that should be a 3. 😬
We stayed here for 1 week, this looked like a lush place to stay, we had never been, so went and booked it. We thought this is a 3 star rather than 4, it has a lot to do to reach it's 4 star potential. GYM-Equipment broken and old, served it's purpose. GAMES ROOM-We have children, and we didn't book the on. They would of been bored in 2 days. Games are old. Pool table and ping pong. Maybe 2 other games, not many at all. SPA-Massage only! No hot tub, no steam, no sauna. That was disappointing. MAIN POOL- If you have silver jewellery take it all off! Don't let your children in. CHLORINE LEVELS WAY TOO HIGH. Every guest we spoke to suffered with eye burn. My silver jewellery was tarnished after 1 dip in. FOOD-Im veggie, partner a meat eater. It was very repetitive flavours, only two choices of pasta sauce all week. Partner said the meat was good, but the rice was hard. He ended up eating salads towards the end of the week. The salad bar was brilliant for me! Chips and pizza always available if stuck. You must be able to eat out at least three times a week without getting bored of the food here. NO CHINESE NIGHT, OR CURRY NIGHTS HERE. Breakfast was same every morning. Porridge was a runny mess. 1 toaster machine. It will keep you going, but lacks flavours and any variety. Very greek food and flavours though. Juices were not fresh! Very acidic and unbearable if you suffer with acid reflux. All on all OK. STAFF- Entertainment staff were the two people we had the longest conversations within the whole place. Bar staff were pleasant, although 1 member NO NAMES, had the attitude that asking for something, that wasn't available, you didn't have the right to ask for, because let's face it, this is a four-star hotel not a five!! Was rood and had this impression that asking for something, ment you went to reception and KICKED OFF ABOUT IT. I'm all for staff speaking in their own language, in their own country. But most conversations between staff never looked like positive ones, and always looked very negative. Most looked like they hated their jobs. Not an industry to not, have a smile in. Reception and cleaning staff have the smile, boxed off. Very pleasant and helpful. BAR VIBES-Music at the bar was NIL. The silence was deafening to most people on holiday that week. It also made ppl feel like they couldn't laugh, chat, jump in the pool, even laugh too loud, without feeling uncomfortable. No names! said he gets told by mature visitors to turn it down, and younger members to turn it off! When enough people did ask, and the speaker did got working again..it broke! We had to bring our speaker down to the bar and put an 80s playlist on, to keep both sides young and mature relatively happy. Everyone was chatty and absolutely buzzing to hear some music, almost congregated around our table with the speaker. Lots of ppl said it was needed to lighten the mood. THINGS TO DO- This is an island. With not alot to do at all. Unless you book a boat trip, or a coach trip, you will be very stuck on keeping entertained. Most people we spoke to faced this problem. There are only 4 restaurants, as you exit the front pool, and turn right, and 1 pool and football bar, 20 minute walk turn left. We advise booking the LAZY DAY BOAT TOUR stopping it sights and jumping off the boat. No rave music, no party boats, it's a pleasant ride. GRAND TOUR VIA COACH. This one was especially nice as you got to go around the markets and into the main town. Grab some food here if you can, it's amazing. 92 ADDRESS restaurant👌🏾 Veggie and meat dishes. ENTERTAINMENT- Was very varied and good. Daytime he does aqua aerobics, darts and morning stretching. We had a few games of darts that was fun. I'm the week we seen traditional Greek dancing that was done in a very humorous way with a lot of the guests getting involved and having a laugh. A tribute band, bingo, a quiz, and singers. PLEASE CAN YOU NOT MAKE THE LOVLEY ENTERTAINMENT LADY, WEAR THAT CLOWN SUIT. It's awful. She's great at her job. Let her do it without scaring the kids. Speaker again broke down, so let the entertainment staff down on what was set to be a banging music quiz

    Great holiday
We had a great holiday at this hotel. Facilities all good and food plentiful and varied. Lovely location on a quiet bay with shops, restaurants and bars. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. The best part were the staff, all friendly and helpful. Makes such a difference. Thanks especially to Elena on reception who looked after us the whole holiday. Because we were going for a special occasion we were upgraded to a lovely sea view room and left a bottle of wine. Thank you Elena. We will be back.

    Two star not 4 star
Just come back from Acharavi Mare the food was very repetitive more or less same food every night and lunch time. Only one four slice toaster for the whole hotel with only two parts working. Dirty towels were taken and no new ones left had to go and ask for some twice. Settee in bedroom and chairs in dining room all stained. Hardly any soap in ladies toilet. Had to have safe changed after 3 nights of maintenence coming to fix it we went the only ones with this problem either. Staff were very pleasant though. Limited drinks on bar area ie. Malibu and Baileys. Baileys ran out but not replaced. Will not be returning here been to much better 3 star hotels.
