    Moderate
Firstly I just want to say this wasn’t our first choice hotel as the one we originally picked was closing so we didn’t really know what to expect from spice hotel. The room we stayed in was lovely though with really nice views, good cleaning and restocking of mini fridge every day. There wasn’t many loungers around the pool or at all people lounging so was nice and quiet however the pool was just wasted sitting there as it was so cold, everyone who attempted to go inside just immediately came out because it was literally like an ice bath so would be good to introduce a heated pool in cooler temperatures during the turkey season. Was a shame no slides were on but again this was due to being out of season. There was only one ‘entertainer’ near the end of the week during our stay who seemed really nice but it was only ever to play darts. The food was mostly the same every other day and if your English and picky this hotel isn’t for you. The breakfast was lovely though. Workers are required to take your drinks when you sit down and numerous times we were at the end of our meal or finished by the time they asked what we would like (two occasions we didn’t get asked and got no drinks). Lots of cats around hotel which a cute and cuddly but greedy lol. Drinks were strong and cheap. The spa was really nice and chilled . Overall the hotel was a nice stay but felt like it didn’t have effort put into it as it was out of season .

Beautiful Hotel with Potential, but Marred by Language Barriers and Unpleasant Atmosphere
First Impressions and Lobby Area Exterior and Lobby: The hotel exterior is visually appealing, and the entrance foyer is impressive with opulent decor, including gold posts, plush furniture, and unique sitting areas. The lobby sets high expectations with its luxurious appearance. Check-in Experience: Unfortunately, the check-in process was challenging as none of the staff spoke English, and all forms were in German. Although the staff were polite, there was no support offered for the language barrier, making the process frustrating and confusing. Room Experience Room Location and Smell: Our room was not in the main building, and upon entering, it had a musty smell. The smell subsided after activating the AC, but this initial impression was disappointing. Cleanliness and Condition: The room was clean but looked tired and in need of an update. Certain elements, like the wardrobe containing a sink, seemed like remnants from a previous layout, giving the room an odd configuration. Comfort and Bedding: The bed was comfortable; however, the bedding barely covered the mattress. We were provided with only one pillow each, which was later rectified by reception upon request. The towel art was amazing. Bathroom Setup: The bathroom had a shower over the bath, which was challenging for anyone with mobility issues. Although there was plenty of hot water, the setup was not particularly accessible. Dining and Beverage Service Main Bar Experience: The main hotel bar presented significant communication difficulties, as few staff members spoke English. This language barrier often resulted in wrong orders or no service at all. The inconsistency in service made the experience unpredictable and disappointing. Pool Bar Service: The pool bar was a slightly better experience, likely because it didn’t serve cocktails, minimizing misunderstandings. The waiters on roller skates provided efficient service but did not pass by frequently. Food Quality and Variety: The buffet offered a good range of dishes, although the lack of variety became tiresome over a 10-day stay. Food labeling was not always present, making it a guessing game to know what certain dishes were. However, the desserts, especially the cakes, were excellent, and breakfast options were enjoyable with a standout omelet bar. Additionally, the waffle bar was a delight. Restaurant Availability and Pricing: Restaurants in the hotel did not seem to open often and were priced at 30 euros per person, which felt excessive given the limited availability and alternatives nearby. Pool and Amenities Pool Area: The pool itself was clean, spacious, and generally had sufficient lounge chairs, although it became challenging to find seating as the hotel grew busier. Hotel Events and Conferences: During our stay, the hotel hosted three conferences over one weekend, which significantly impacted available seating and space, particularly in the dining areas, as large sections were reserved for conference attendees. Atmosphere and Other Guests Guest Demographics and Behavior: The majority of the guests during our stay appeared to be Russian. Unfortunately, many of these guests were notably rude and aggressive toward the hotel staff, which added a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere. In one instance, a man snapped his fingers at a waitress and even resorted to banging his knife on the table when she did not respond immediately. This behavior affected both the ambiance and service quality, as staff often seemed strained and distracted by these confrontations. Overall Impressions Language Barrier: One of the most prominent challenges during our stay was the language barrier. Very few staff members spoke English, leading to ongoing misunderstandings and a lack of seamless service. Ambiance vs. Service: While the hotel itself is lovely, well-maintained, and filled with potential, the lack of English-speaking staff made our experience frustrating. Combined with uncomfortable interactions among other guests, this greatly affected our enjoyment of the hotel, as it felt that basic service expectations were unmet. Conclusion The hotel offers a beautiful ambiance, quality amenities, and some standout features like the waffle bar and pool, but the challenges with communication, interactions with other guests, and limited restaurant access diminished our overall experience. The language barrier was particularly frustrating and impacted the service quality, which, paired with a need for room upgrades, made our stay less enjoyable than expected.

Second time at the hotel, but disappointed
Big disappointment, we were there in 2022, really liked the staff and the team that entertained the guests, different programs, respect for the guests. Now the staff has changed. In September 2024, the staff was terrible, they don't care, even in small things, if you ask for coffee, they bring tea, the waiters do not understand English, they only speak Turkish, they do not even try to understand. In the room, in the bathroom, the drain did not work, black mold on the walls and tap, only after we complained, they sent a cleaner to wash off all this mold. After that, the cleaner tried very hard. Compared to 2022, the hotel saves on meat, they do not make barbecues outside in the evenings, there is no seafood, with the exception of mussels once. Invited Turkish singers who sang songs of world stars are a mockery of guests, especially those who have musical education and a good ear, it is impossible to listen, we had to leave the bar, where there are not enough seats for guests to sit and relax. Unreasonable price increase in this hotel and the hotel does not correspond to 5 stars. Once the safe did not work and we had to wait in the room for a worker, since they have to repair in the presence of the guest, we were wasting time that we could have spent on the beach. The hotel has a beautiful lobby, but the hotel needs to repair the rooms and sewerage, since there is an unpleasant smell on the B floor, even near the restaurant when you go to breakfast, lunch and dinner. But the beach, sea and sun are excellent. Thanks to nature.
