NEFELI HOTEL

We arrived very late on the Friday night, hot, sticky and tired after a long journey. Within a few minutes we were made to feel welcome and relaxed, by Manola and Stella who had a meal waiting for us. The room was lovely and spacious as was the balcony. Bedding and towels were changed regularly. Our room was very quiet even though the front of the hotel is on the main road and the National Road runs very close to the rear of the hotel. There was plenty of choice in the restaurant. When we were on any trips we informed the Manager who was very accommodating for late meals and early breakfasts. The beach was only a few minutes away and a number of bars were in the near area if you do not want to stay at the hotel bar. The bus stop to Rethymno is very close and you can buy tickets at the supermarket just a few meters along the road. Just be patient as the busses are often full and they sometimes put an extra bus on. All of the staff are very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay so pleasant. We would like to come back again.

Came back 29th April from a 3 night trip the hotel is very clean and the staff are all genuinely really nice. Upon checking in our passports were taken overnight I did not like this however we went with it. Are room was room 277 top floor with a lovely view the balcony was tiny I mean now room to even turn around all modern furniture and the TV even allowed you to log in to your own netflix prime. The bed was a not. Very comfy and had a dip in the middle there was also a huge step between the bed level and the door and bathroom but is lit up. Overall a small but ok room. The food was amazing and loads of choice the dinning room staff are so friendly. The pool is very small and I can see in the summer months this being a nightmare as over 200+ people 1 tiny pool and about 22 loungers and a few table not being enough. The hotel allows children but personaly I think it would be better suited as a adults only as the kid pool is about the size of a large coenwe bath tub and not much else for children. The only real problem we faced was when checking out the card machine was not working so we could not pay our bill and has to pay and extra £14 fee to take out cash. Overall for what we payed a nice day definitely not for kids though.

Excellent hotel staff very friendly and helpful food was excellent . Not far from the sea five minutes away Olga wad very friendly and funny beautiful person rooms cleaned every day views .different food on every evening

This was our first time at this hotel and I would just like to say it was wonderful. From arriving to leaving the staff was excellent couldn't fault them. The food was plenty and varied, if you did have any problems they was quickly sorted. We had a superior room with a pool view and this was spacious and clean, bed was very comfy and so was the pillows. Rooms were clean and tidy and cleaned daily. The pool area was spacious with plenty of seats but not a lot of sunbeds. I have only 1 minor issue and that was getting in and out of the pool as the ladders needed and extra step for me as it was too low and I have knee problems. Despite this we are booking for next year.

Cosy hotel in very quiet area, located 45 minutes drive from Heraklion airport and 10 minutes bus ride from Rethymno. If you prefer you can walk to Rethymno along the beach which will take you approx. 45 minutes. Bech is 5 minutes walk from hotel, just across the road. As for hotel rooms they are nice, clean and just big enough, placed in two story segments spread around beautiful garden. Rooms are cleaned on daily basis, All hotel staff is very nice and friendly, always willing to assist with anything you need. There is rich variety of food covering both local and standard cuisine, The chief waiter will assign you a table and dinner time that will be yours for whole stay, better stick with assigned meal time to avoid unnecesary confusions. There is a nice bar at the pool where you can chill out before or after dinner. The pool itself is quite small, definitely not for swimmers. There are numerous suvenir shops around however you will find much better prices in Rethymno. You may take a bus to get there or more convenient to rent a car and use it for exploring the island. All in all staying in hotel was a very pleasant experience, would definitely recommend it to couples (without kids though).
