Beautiful place to stay. Lovely people. Would highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay at Ida Village at the end of October. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The apartment was very nice and comfortable with a great view and outside eating area. The convection oven/grill/microwave wasn't the best but we didnt do a lot of cooking as there's so many nice restaurants in the area. Plus the food at the Ida Village poolside bar was good as well. Ida Village is so pretty, all planted with trees and shrubs. The pools were a bit chilly but OK. Tennis and table tennis on site. I cannot praise the friendly staff enough. They really made our stay special. Hersonissos is a busy town, very touristy, but nice all the same. The weather in October was unbeatable, 21-23° every day and not a spot of rain during our one week stay. Apparently this is a bit unusual and a little rain would be normal. I'd highly recommend a stay at Ida Village if you're planning a trip to Hersonissos.

    A great stay
A wonderful place to stay. Very friendly are the people who run the business and those who work there. 3 of us stayed 1-8 Oct 24. 1 of our party is elderly and needed easy access accommodation and they sorted it very quickly for us. The bar and pool areas are great for a relaxed drink or 2. Great restaurants very close by. Supermarket 5 mins away too. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

    BEAUTIFUL
what a fantastic place! the staff can’t do enough for you and the rooms are amazing. Great pool area for lazing about in the days and the location is ideal for getting into resort or out and about. We will definitely be returning for the famous Greek hospitality

Not a 3 plus star experience
Stayed in a refurbished apartment which was not a 3 star plus as we had 2 broken window blinds and the 3 swimming pools areas are very clean but have flies in them. The pathways are 'crazy paving' and take care as they are uneven and broken. Lots and lots of steps with sharp edges. Did not eat or drink there because of the flies. Bus to Stalis/Malia is 2 euros - if you stay on the bus it takes you to an architectural dig with some great walks back to Malia. Strip of restaurants on sea front are ok if you want carbon monoxide with your food/drink. We walked to Stalis several times. You cant't get there by the beach but use the side road (parallel) to the main road and turn left at the round green Heinekin sign which takes you to Romantic Corner - the nearby tavernas are much cooler. If you miss the turning go left at the Robin Hood sign. We liked El Greco restaurant (On our last day we found out it was voted best restaurant since 1995.) Best places for a Greek feel are behind the Ida = Koutouloufari and at roof top bar at Rustico Taverna - WOW! You can walk there (turn left at reception and go around the Belveder Hotel - or safer go down the high street and turn left near two Spar supermarkets and an Alpha Bank. We walked 258 miles in 3 weeks and everyday was fantastic. Also go past the harbour for about a mile to get the best beaches. If you want Star Beach this may be for you. We are going back to Kos.

Beautiful accommodation and excellent customer service
We spent 10 days at Ida Village in September and loved it so much that we have already booked our next holiday at the same village in September 2025. We are going for 2 weeks next year as we really enjoyed staying at this beautiful complex. The room was superb and extremely clean with a well equipped kitchen if you wish to cook at home; there was a comfy double bed in the bedroom with two additional single beds in the living room (we stayed at the top of the complex in a Superior One bedroom apartment). There is always someone available at the reception. A huge thank you to Despina for helping us with all our requests. There is a wonderful sandy beach (Meltemi) about 10 mins walk down the hill, turn right (20 euros for two sunbeds and umbrella). And you can also book a massage with lovely Stella at the Spa – highly recommend as she is fantastic.
