Nice family vacation with luxury twist.

Really a nice hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. The restaurants served fine food, and the staff was very friendly and helpsome. The facilities were of good quality and the pool was nice as well. The standard was just a bit better than other places all the way through.

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY BOOKING

Overall a great 16 day holiday. Had great relationship with Yiannis Moraitis, the G.M. of the a couple who Hotel and considering returning next August 2025 for similar holiday. I had room 412 last year but would prefer a room with a lounge, similar to 5111. I do not need a pool unless there is a good deal on a direct rate from the Hotel as previously. It is our Wedding anniversary in August and like to celebrate at the Hotel. Have recommended it to my clients in London who like me appreciate 5* De Luxe Hotels.

October sunshine at Anemos Luxury Grand Resort.

Very well run busy resort. Staff are well trained friendly and efficient. Food in the main restaurant is well presented, fresh, tasty with a lot of choice. Our accommodation was as described at booking, clean and attractive. Spa is welcoming with attentive staff. Beach is close by across the road. Bar - sunbeds - good beach.

Great resort

It’s a lovely resort, with fantastic amenities, great service, lovely staff and a perfect beach. Really enjoyed our time there. We went half board and the range of food every day was great. Couldn’t fault the staff who were very friendly, from the cleaning staff to reception, they were all lovely. The golf buggy service and driver were great, really helped us getting around with a toddler.

OK hotel but be aware of additional costs

We were a couple age 55 in October 2024 + Buffet quality and fresh both breakfast and evening + The cleaning of the room perfect + Nice beach with many sunbeds, however 200m away + Large classic hotel room with 2 beds and a small terrace + Nice children's area with pools etc, far from the "adult pool" - Expensive, mandatory price supplements at half board (drinks such as coffee, cola, ice cream 5 eur each, 1 wine glass 8 eur, mineral water 8 eur, etc.) lunch with 2 Greek salads, a tzatziki and 2 cola for 40 eur... the same at a nice restaurant in Rethymnon costs half... we saw guests who brought their own wine bottles for dinner, is of course a cheaper solution but should not be needed... - 10 eur tourist tax per day and room - Small pools, with max 1,20 depth - "Big" pool not heated - Tiny fridge with minibar, nothing for own drinks / sandwiches / self-catering Information: Fixed parasols that cannot be moved with 2 chairs per parasol, applies to the entire pool area All-inclusive (buffet lunch, drinks and snacks) can be purchased for 56 euros per person per day You can walk along the beach or on a smaller road to the village of Giorgoupolous, where is nice with cafe, restaurants and small shops with reasonable prices. Bus to Chania and Rethymnon runs 1 time per hour outside the hotel. Anemos is an OK hotel but unfortunately does not correspond to the price level either for all small expenses, left there satisfied but with a feeling of being played
