EVA PALACE GRECOTEL LUXURY BEACH RESORT

When we arrived we got taken into the bar for a welcome drink before being checked in, on arriving at our room it was clearly run down, the patio door did not lock and all in all not the luxury room we where expecting. Having returned to reception to ask about moving, the lovely reception person showed us to another room that was much nicer, secure and although the view of a car park wasn’t the best we accepted. Only 5 minutes later the customer services manager arrived to insist we returned to our original room as this one was not available!! so back we went to the grotty room, we settled in for the night only to be kept awake long into the early hours by the cleaning team dragging chairs and tables around the bar area below us, this happened every single night!!! Also need to mention stray cats all over the dinning room…. Customer service - 0 Comfort - 5 Food - 10 Management - 0 Other staff - 9

My wife and I had a lovely honeymoon at Eva Palace. The views were absolutely incredible, and the food was out of this world. I’d like to say a special thank you to Yannis, Maria, and Silvia from the lobby bar, who made us feel at home and crafted the most incredible luxury cocktails. Whenever we had any issues, Pedros, the room division manager, was there to help. It’s so refreshing to see someone so young, professional, and passionate about hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay! Thank you, Eva Palace. My wife and I recommend this place.

This hotel is 30 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Corfu town. We stayed for 7 nights bed and breakfast and ate in the buffet restaurant every day. The food was excellent and there was a great choice for meat eaters and vegetarian. Maria the restaurant supervisor was very friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel.

This is a cracking hotel - the reception staff were very helpful. It rained quite a bit when we were there but they loaned us umbrellas. Food and its choice was remarkable with many healthy options - even egg white scrambled egg. I counted 6 different chutneys one day - bothe the carrot and mushroom ones were a revelation to have with the cheeses on offer. Beach area was a lovely place to spend time. Both bars (pool and lobby) offered great choices both alcoholic and non alcoholic eg have 0% beer and Prosecco. Lunch buffet again huge choice of salad (my favourite), always soup and hot food plus pasta options. We didn’t mind steps at all to work off all our food and there were wasps but you just get used to it. The only thing we could suggest was the steak and sushi restaurant food was actually underwhelming (the steak not the sushi). Minibus trip to corfu town worked well if you pre book. Perfect relaxing spot for the week we had. We would definitely go again although we’d like to try another Grecotel to enjoy and explore a different location.

Stayed here for 4 nights - 4 adults. Hotel and surroundings lovely. Great views. Nice little private beach with bar area. Very hilly with lots of steps so be prepared! Not much around so you would need a car/cab/bus to get out and about. Saw some water taxi's which i think were taking people to Corfu old town. Visited one evening. Lots of shops and restaurants but all selling pretty much the same thing. Pool was lovely but cold - but expected at this time of year. No issues with sunbeds, towels etc but again probably due to time of year. Room was cleaned daily. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Found the check in a little bit long with the sit down, have a drink and wait to fill out details. Went all inclusive. Found the food a bit repetitive. Maybe a themed night would be nice? Ate out twice for a bit of variety. All in all, nice hotel, lovely views but a bit too quiet area for us :)
