MIRAMARE BEACH HOTEL

Fantastic hotel for a end of year break we have travelled the 2bd weekend in November for three years now and have been blessed with very agreeable weather 23-29 through the day falling to 15-17 in the evening. Great variety of food, very comfortable accommodation, courteous staff and facilities we find are all 1st rate.

BEST HOTEL EVER !🤩Myself and my partner have never been to a better hotel than this, the pictures on the website definitely does not do it justice. The quality of food is 5 ⭐️ and the service from all members of staff were off top quality. I would like to give a special mention to Emre who served us each night in the pool beach bar, he was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning. Edited : I have to say this hotel is everything we expected and more. I'll break this review into 5 sections. Hotel, Food, Experience, Value for money and Overall stay. Hotel - I have to say, I've stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and this was on par. Cleanliness was superb. It actually felt like staff were cleaning for the sake of cleaning at times. This hotel is spotless. From a function perspective it works, Two block buildings (A & B) with two lifts in each block. There are only 5 floors so the lifts were super fast. Lifts - came into a massive lobby with two guest services reps on hand (this was superb). Sun Beds (this is what everyone wants to know about). In fairness, to the hotel, there are plenty on offer. However, this hotel is 80% German based thus you have to get up super early to get the poolside Sun beds. The beach has plenty but just be smart. There are copious amount of Sun beds and the surrounding trees mean that no where gives you sun for the whole day so we just moved the sunbeds to suit our needs. Just don't be a sheep and make it your holiday. The hotel will do whatever you want. I can genuinely say I felt pampered as you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Food - The quality of food was exceptional - Every night in the restaurant there was a different theme. There is no rush and the staff will do everything for you. At lunch you have two al a carte options as well as the buffet in the main restaurant. The beach restaurant and the pool restaurant are al a carte and each has similar menu's. It's like a couple of pizza's and mains that are different, both have burgers and salads . The buffet is for the kids really. Note - The food theme of the day is on the wall at the entrance to the main restaurant posted every lunch time. You can get a timetable from guest services too, which can help you to decide which night to book the al a carte if you wanted to use it. Experience - Room was amazing, cleaned daily with fresh towels whenever needed (pool towels daily and fresh towels when placed on the floor to be replaced). The cleaner built up an understanding of when we were in and out of the room and worked around us. She was amazing. I actually used the shower gel. Was lovely. Entertainment Staff, brilliant - so much energy and doing their job daily to engage the guests. I have to applaud them - We had a blast. Bar staff/Waiters, brilliant - It not one of those hotels where you go back to the bar for another drink in singles. I was going to the bar for 3 beers and it was not an issue. Loved it! Hat off to Ilker - Class lad and was just on point, every time. Thanks Pal. Coming from the UK going to my first all Inclusive I didn't really know the tipping culture. We soon got it. Tip at the start or the end of the evening or service time. We tipped at the end and it seemed all good. FYI - Tips were not massive, euros for drinks or table service. Like a casino in Vegas. We've done cruises and it felt like a cruise ship on land. Value for Money - When we booked this hotel the price increase by £1800 with Jet2 in a year. I have to say I was shocked and it seemed that Jet2 like every other business in the UK were taking/grabbing their opportunity on inflation or taking the pee and maximising their opportunity with the market and time of year. I know it's just business but, it's hard to swallow. We caught the market at the right time. I paid £3k for 3 of us but it could have been £5k. Outside of the hotel there are plenty of shops selling the usual - bags, trainers, clothes and souvenirs both in streets and also lots of shopping malls all ready to haggle on prices. All within couple minutes walk. There are also some bars and restaurants amongst the shops if you wanted to try somewhere different to eat. And lots of barbers and beauty places if you want a haircut, manicure or massage. If you want to do any water sports there is a hut on the beach - we did parasailing and can highly recommend we paid 80 euro for 2 people they give us a discount for being a Miramare guest should have been 100 euro. You are up there for about 15-20 mins well worth doing. Overall stay - This is an amazing hotel - If I went back to Side I would stay her in fear that other hotels couldn't match this one, seriously!!! If only this hotel had a sports bar - it would be a game changer..!! I will be back...

Currently staying here, check in was busy but swift. Booked two rooms as couples and got two totally different rooms both paid the same. Queried this at reception to be told the hotel is full and that’s just how it is! Bar and waiting staff are all lovely and try their best to speak English which is much nether that our Turkish. Guest relations need to have someone who is employed to be public facing and polite not someone who is expressionless and miserable. So far I have found the housekeeping staff the happiest. Yes I know it’s the end of the season and everyone is tired and ready to home but our experience is somewhat marred by certain members of staff who clearly aren’t suited to working in a public facing role.

Everything is amazing, rooms are nice and comfortable. Stuff speak many languages and is well trained. Food is amazing and ala carte is perfect. Diversity of food is superstar. Beach is clean and organised. Activities are organised to match global trends events, like experience Octoberfest in Turkey :)
