ROSEIRA BEACH RESORT

The Beach bar was closed and there was hardly anything to drink as it was the end of season. The bar area stunk of sewers and the plastic glasses were filthy. The Food was like Russian roulette, you could tell what you were eating. Didn't cater for children at all.

Not the best, we had good company and nice weather, most staff were nice and friendly, but the food was not up to much, nothing labelled and no matter what time you went it was always cold, as all inclusive the drinks were fine, but we did eat out a few times, even breakfast was limited, the only thing I could eat was bioled eggs the toaster kept getting bread stuck, but short taxi ride from main town with plenty of bars and cafes

This hotel is awful. Where do I start……… I’d read some of the reviews here and thought ( hopefully) maybe it’s people moaning… it isn’t .we checked out the very next day after arriving late at night. Within the first hour we witnessed a cat jump up onto the counter and URINATE into the midnight soup- and when we reported it too reception they did nothing.the whole of reception smelt of cat wee and as we were leaving the cleaners were lifting every chair and removing things with gloves. The beach area is unkempt, unclean, dirty toilets and unsafe steps. The rooms are small and dirty The food is unlabelled, dubious looking, I chose not to eat. The bar- the staff were so rude. They refused to serve Diet Coke saying they were closing in a week so only had what was available. When I queried this at reception I was told they ‘stopped serving soft drinks at 10 pm’ I queried this and asked where it said this on the paperwork and got a shrug. The music by the pool - IS THE LOUDEST I’ve ever heard at any hotel I’ve stayed at. I could go on - we took photos and videos, I’ve never felt compelled to do that but it’s for the simple reason that NOBODY should be subjected to this place and it’s staff ( bar one or two amazing staff in reception) it’s an appalling hotel and was such a disappointment for our family holiday this year.
